ONE thing that really sucks about Svalbard is the fact that you get used to people leaving. The median amount of time someone stays on the island is just a couple of years so the friends you make are often temporary. The time has come for our besties, Fenris family, to start a new adventure, which has brought them all the way to the middle of Sweden. What is life like on the mainland? How does it compare to Svalbard? There is only one way to find out - we are going to Sweden! Thank you so much for being here and watching my videos, I love y'all! ✨

Olivia and Einar could turn that farm into an agrotourism B&B with all those cabins and outbuildings
Just a heads up, you can say A Dairy, the word "farm" is redundant
Let your friends now I can house sit as they still working but not till November once was on housing sitting site approved anhighly qualified
Olivia sounds like she is from the USA! What a beautiful place for a beautiful family!
Absolutely
I think that it's not Svalbard or Sweden, it's Cecilia - where ever you go, you make the place look so great: cozy, friendly, picturesque ❤
I completely agree. She is wonderful.
Agree. We’ll follow you anywhere, Cecilia!
I just asked my hubby do you need..absolutely need to ride your motorcycle 100% all year round.. he said yes and I won't budge...hmmmmm... but what about what I might want...I know.. this is a HUGE decision...hmmm....I must think.
Yes! Her personality really shines! Love her !
Absolutely! Her personality is very engaging! ✨
the way you integrated Grim into the sponsorship was genius and so cute
Their property and their homes are absolutely breathtaking. What a magical place.
Probably did not cost a whole lot either.
@J I checked the farm prices in the area, I estimate between $400k and $600k.
While I started following for Svalbard content, I realized that I’m actually following for your storytelling 💯 regardless of where you decide to set down roots
I’m convinced my dog secretly knows Swedish 😂 everytime he hears you speak Swedish to Grimm or fennris he immediately gets up and wants to play 😂
I think it's because people's doggie/animal voices are universal 😂
Maybe a past life? My dog knew Czech (we first lived in Prague), English (from me) and Italian (moved to Italy). But he HATED when I spoke French to him. He was ok with my brother speaking Mandarin to him but hated French. :)
We moved to Sweden from California in 2022 and have no plans to go back. It’s a great place to live.
i'm trying to leave america now....
What did you have to do to be able to move from the states to Sweden?
As The Swedish Chef says... BORK BORK BORK! lol.
How did you manage this? The rest of us trapped Americans need to know...
@@ZeroMilk my company gave me a job offer there. Got lucky
I love how Cecilia speaks Swedish to all the dogs and they are enthralled!
I don't think I have ever seen as great-funny-cute advertisements breaks as yours! I just happily watch them instead of skipping! 😄
😊😊😊😊😊
I love Cristofer. He’s so steady and calm. Doesn’t say much but always there 😊
I want to see More of His Cooking 🍳
I do too! After watching the last few videos, I’m worried that there may be trouble in paradise. I know Norwegians are a hard nut to crack, but Cecilia you show more affection to the dogs than you do Christoffer. Please show love to your mate. I hope I’m wrong! 😢❤
She's not going to be all over him in her videos. There is a time and a.place for that and I'm guessing she has a lot more class than that.
@@albertarose1433 Well, it goes both ways. I think they're just fine. :)
Not everyone is natural in front of the camera. Cecilia mentioned that Christoffer isn't as quiet at all in real life. He can be really chatty. But he's probably not going to show that side of him on camera (yet).
Thank you so much to Olivia, Einar and Fenris for sharing your home. One of my favorite videos to date. What a beautiful family. Hope we get to see more of them in the future.
Appreciate the generosity of your friends to allow you to share this part of Sweden with us. Thank you very much.
Dear Cecelia...your child-like wonder and enthusiasm for everything just makes me think you will be a wonderful mother!
You'll never see a baby napping outside. I don't think it's weird. It's great to live in a country where you don't have to worry about safety.
I’m thinking of a baby on the lawn here in US.. not even safe to take your eyes off your child in the park so definitely no babies sleeping outside unattended. Sad but beautiful there are places it’s safe!
@@janiceh4521It depends on where you live in Sweden. You go into the cities and your danger level will increase dramatically. Same in the US. Out in the county it’s a very safe place to live. All the crazies and criminals tend to consolidate in the cities.
We do the same in Iceland, leave our babies outside in prams to nap. Even in downtown Reykjavik you might see a group of babies in prams sleeping outside a café, while their parents drink coffee on the other side of the window.
I am curious, does anyone/parent stand watch over the babies during coffee time? I would be terrified that someone would take one of the children.
@@zandramangrum5483 It's not something that was really worried about in past decades, but with the "population changes" it has become more of a concern -- although few will admit it publicly.
Why do babies nap outside? Is there a reason? I would like to know more
@@Indigosoul127 I grew up in this clture in northern Sweden and the simple answer is - babies sleep so much better outside! =)
@@Indigosoul127 it has always been thought, and recently seems to be proven by research, that sleeping in low temperatures, with properly warm bedding, of course, is good for health and the development of the immune system in infants.
I love how quiet and NOT crowded it is. Lovely!
I’m in Minnesota and looks very much like northern Minnesota. I see why so many immigrated here back in the day!❤️
Do you have snow this year?? In Minneapolis we have had snow cover a couple of times and then in a few days it melted!! It’s 47degrees Fahrenheit today and it’s suppose to be 60 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow. That’s crazy for February!! We still have March and April to go so we can still get some snow. It’s just been a very abnormal winter even for an El Niño winter!!
Thankfully Trump ❤️ is our next president, all rhe illegals are being deported back. 😅
@@lynellethompson5521I'm 3 and a half hr from you. And we have no snow! I love this!
@@kar460 I was just told that it’s supposed to snow next week. I hope we don’t get a whole winters worth of snow in 1 month again this year!! Last winter ended with way too much snow!!❄️❄️❄️
@@lynellethompson5521 I'm in Wisconsin and it's the same here. :o)
Cecilia, if you move to Sweden (or anywhere else) we will still love to watch you guys! Love from Florida 😀
Yes! 😍
@@Silvina46Hello from Poland and mindful life by Agnes 😀-channel and countryside 🐕!
Yeah? Too bad she doesn't even know what country she's in. Svalbard is in Norway.
@@kungjocke9446 this video was filmed in Sweden
Hello from Australia!
Putting my babies outside while they were sleeping saved my sanity! They slept soooo good!! I’m from the north of Italy and our cold is a couple degrees below zero (celsius of course) but I only did it in our backyard while I was watching them like a hawk from inside or while they were on our patio on the second floor.
Crime rates are very low in my small town but you never know🤦♀️
the babies need fresh air! I've been to some areas in northern Italy...so beautiful. Got to be there in the winter time during a robust snowfall! Would love to visit again.
Not something I would ever adjust to not being Swedish. People animals bears cats hummmmm nope. I’m all about the fresh air and germ exposure.
@@jillr759 cats...why? They are so loving and caring, calm, intelligent and playful.
I'm Canadian and I bet I could buy a country house in Northern Sweden cheaper even with the exchange currency than here in my own country! I love the Scandinavian lifestyle! I love it! It's on my bucket list to visit the Scandinavian Countries! So beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing! 🥰🇨🇦
I'm from Vancuver Canada and I agree
The only word to describe this is "enchanting!" What a simply spectacular homestead. Olivia and Einar have chosen a wonderful place to raise their child. And I love the idea of having the babies nap in nature! 😊 Tell them congrats for all of us. The baby is precious! And Finas cute as ever. I hope you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate you sharing. I wait for your videos every Sunday. I hope you continue your adventures in Svalvard for foreseeable future, but we will follow you wherever you choose. You make our day. Safe travels. Give sweet Grim a big welcome home hug and tell him his computer duties are well done.😁
I’m a 21-year US military vet; people moving in & out is something we experience too. The difference is that over time we tend to meet back up with at least some of them later in career.
I can’t get over how beautiful Sweden is in the winter. The lighting against the snow is like I’ve never seen before and I grew up in the Midwest USA with snow. What a magical place ❤
This is not Sweden. This is literally Norway.
@@kungjocke9446 🤦🏻♀️ I was watching the part where she said she was from Sweden when I wrote it. Beautiful nonetheless ❤️
I love that you say "Fenris" first when listing the members of their family.❤
Yes! I noticed that too!
@@elm57 😃
As an American with Swedish heritage, who has unfortunately never been to Sweden, this was so fun to watch! Thank you for sharing! 🇸🇪💛
You need to apply to Allt för Sverige TV-show. So you can learn more about your heritage and visit Sweden and see the whole country. 🇸🇪
Same I have a tiny bit of Sweden in me.
One day I'll move to Sweden. I love everything about this country. Started learning Swedish very recently, so that I'm ready to go when the time has come.
This is not Sweden. This is Norway. She doesn't even know which country she's in.
Omg man... She is Sweedish... she knows... she just lives in Svalbard. You did not even watch the video... because she said she is from Gotebotg
Same here. My boyfriend is from Sweden and everything about their culture fascinates me. Can’t wait to move there!
They should have their own channel. 🌟 I'm thoroughly enchanted with their homestead and forested property. Perfectly magical!! 🌟
This video is like a family reunion 🥹 sweden looks so dreamy with all the snow
Growing up in Alaska our village was even tinier. My father built our log cabin home on a plot of land below a mountain and he’s still in it today. You make me homesick with these videos and your daily joy is infectious. 😊
I don’t see any difference between a professional documentary on TV and this channel. Great work 👌
The smile on their dog when you were talking to her was precious. So happy to see you.
So so beautiful!!! I am an American of Irish/German descent but for some reason I am obsessed with this land, this Sweden! My heart aches to come there…maybe to live? Definitely a long visit at the very least! This was such an enjoyable video!! Thank you for sharing your trip!!
I swear, Cecilia, every week I say THIS is my fave video.. and then you post another great one! I miss Fenris' sweet little face so much! And Wivi is just a baby doll! Thanks to Einar & Olivia for sharing their beautiful home with us. :)
Marianna
Omg! I needed this video today. Totally was living vicariously thru it for 30 minutes. I could feel my blood pressure drop. Stunning. What a beautiful family, and friendship. ❤
This is one of happiest videos I think I have ever watched. This just makes feel so cozy and peaceful, even warm inside even though it’s cold an snowy outside.
Ainar (spelling?) has always been my favorite friend. In Svalbard he was always so friendly, funny, light hearted, and nice. I miss him. Olivia did not miss the Svalbard supermarket, so I was looking forward to seeing her supermarket, but didn't see it.
Einar 😃
Ohhhhh my goodnessssss I love their new home!!!! How great to have all of that!!! I would love to see snow, it’s been like 3 yrs since we have even seen any snow here where I live in NC. I would love to live somewhere that has all the seasons!! Thank you for sharing this with us. ❤
I love how you describe the day, the scenery and how it makes you feel❤
Cecilia, I've been watching your videos for over 1 year, they just keep getting better and better. Nowadays I never want them to end! This one actually made me cry. The natural beauty, the people, the music - you created magic. Loved the Grimm ad as well, lol. This short video had it all for me - the laughter, the tears, the longing to be there too. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. 🥰
❤ this! This video was so much fun & so interesting! Thank you for showing us both houses & your excursions to town, “skog”, etc. Can’t wait to see more of your adventures. 😊
So good to see them all! Have missed Fenris' soulful eyes and Einar's laugh. So lovely to hear more from Olivia. She has done a beautiful job getting the main house so whimsical!
BTW those drone shots at the end with the streetlights that looked like fire? Magnificent!
I love all of your content but the ads with Grim are hilarious! Great video and thank you!
Cecilia, you are such a beautiful soul. Your beautiful smile, warm and friendly personality and the way you find so much joy in the little things is inspiring and it’s what makes you “you”. Thank you for making these videos and taking us along. 🤗🤍✨
Such a beautiful, peaceful place! Thank you so much for bringing us along!
So happy to see Fenris! And glad that your friends are so nicely settled.
After finding your content a couple months ago and now binging it, I can't help but find it so amazingly adorable to hear you lose your English words. It's funny to me because I know how well-spoken you are in English and it seems so relatable to lose your words in a certain language even though I can only speak English but I can only imagine how difficult it is to think in two languages lol
Love your video! I have pictures of myself 75 years ago on my Pram outside in NY for my nap too!
@CeciliaBlomdahl I cried because it’s so beautiful.🥹😭🫶🏼 If I could I would live in Sweden or Norway. Their property is spectacular and I love both houses, but the main one is my dream house including the wallpaper. 😍 Wiv is so darling! You’re so good with kids and animals. They can sense your sweet spirit. Looking forward to new adventures on Svalbard and hopefully in Norway and Sweden.🤞🏻 Thank you for another supremely magical video.✨🙏🏻
Wonderful video - so good to see your friends, along with the baby who is adorable. Good to see Grim's best friend Fenris.
Oh it is so wonderful to see everyone. Fenris is gorgeous❤❤ Such a fantastic home place they have found. All of the trees and forests are exciting.
There is a saying: we always have to give something up, whether we leave or stay.
I'm glad you are staying in Svalbard of course but loved seeing everyone and the shopping was exciting ❤😊the little town was just beyond. I love how lovely the evening shots were. Magic as always
I look forward to your videos every week. They’re so calming and lovely!
Grim wearing glasses 😍
Hi Cecilia, so great to hear/ see from you and thank you for your sweet an e emphatic way to show us the beauties of the north 🥰🥰 have a good time in Sweden!
I visited that part of Sweden some years ago, only for a few days but fell in love with it. Parts of your video reminded me of New England where I live, when we used to get a lot of snow, only a scattering the last few years, also. January was very rainy!
Sweden is absolutely beautiful!!! It is unreal! Thank you for sharing all these amazing places I will not be able to see in this lifetime! I appreciate it!! Living vicariously through your youtube channel!
Cecilia what a beautiful location! The light in the sky at night and the rosy glow on the snow, combined with your photos and music made me cry it was so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your journey with us.❤
Such a beautiful friendship you guys have. Thank you so much for sharing your visit with us. So wonderful. Also so nice to see Fenris again!
One of my favorite videos! I’ve missed Einar, Olivia and most definitely FENRIS! So happy for them. The baby is beautiful! Congratulations on their little one and their new life in Sweden, which is absolutely magical…WOW! So beautiful! The landscape is breathtaking 😍. I’ll miss seeing Fenris come out on the videos here and there 😢
I loved every part of this video!!! ❤😊 people, pets, Sweden, friends, beautiful property, the woods, the dairy…..
I just loved the early evening shots you took outside your friends house and the amazing drone shots.........thank you x
I have the biggest smile on my face. I love this introduction of your friends. What a special relationship you have with them and how wonderful it is that you get to visit them in their new jaw dropping home… Sweden! Things are so different over there. You continually inspire me to live slower. ❤
This place is sooo beautiful ❤. Absolutely stunning! I'm happy for this little family and wish them all the best! Thank you for sharing ☺️
Their house is gorgeous! Wavi's room (I assume) is so adorable! Thank you for taking us along! I love seeing all the different regions I may not ever see in person! Love your videos! ❤
Wow! I love this video so much! Wonderful property and houses, impressive nature with this evening light and fog..
And you all looked so happy.
Makes me also happy watching you all😊
Thank you for taking me along. Love from Italy❤🎉
The cutest baby 😍 thank you Olivia and Einar for sharing their home!
this was a gorgeous review of the town, i've always been curious about sweden so i'm very happy to see it showcased! glad this should be a returning location
Aww loved this episode and loved seeing Fenris! It’s beautiful to see that friends can indeed be more like family! 🙏🏼♥️
What A BIG BLESS, GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO ALL OF YOU.
Thanks a lot, Cecilia, for sharing with us this wonderful experience...
I am SO MUCH IMPRESS with leaving the kids napping outside 😮😮😮 but, I understand it's their culture. Thanks again for showing us this sweet video!😊❤🎉
Both houses are beautiful! And she did such a good job with their main house! 😍 I just loved those wallpapers so much! Congratulations for their new home , new baby and new life!🎉
We definitely will be enjoying more videos from that beautiful forest and surroundings! Thank you for sharing with us…
Loved this post! I'm going to show this to my husband. His great-grandparents were Swedish and we've talked about going there, perhaps moving there. I can so see myself living out in the country like your friends, especially if there are great neighbors like them around. Beautiful. I love forests and snow!
Cecilia you make any place you are in magical and beautiful! you are such a special person! whenever i feel stressed or anxious or overwhelmed I watch you videos and my heart is healed.
Wow what beautiful property! Thanks for bringing us along on your visit!!!❤❤❤❤😊
This was a marvellous video. The outdoor nap was wonderful. When You sipped the fresh milk I thought, wow, I would enjoy that. So much snow. Lovely family, lovely home. You must miss these precious friends. Hope you can spend a month or two with them. Delightful baby and sweet dogs. Thank you for taking us, Cecilia!🙂💐
Thanks for taking us along on your vacation. Sweden is so beautiful!
Another amazing video, Cecilia. How lovely to see Fenris & his family again, I felt like I was seeing old friends.
Oh my gosh!! Absolutely loved you taking us all to Sweden with you!! This is such a beautiful area as well, but quite different from Svalbard. The houses are so fun to see in a different country than the US. Olivia has done such a great job with the main house, but I loved the red house, also!! I hope we all get to return you guys in the future!! Love your channel, Cecelia and love the new videos every week!!!
Thank you so much for showing us how and where your besties are living now! I’ve missed them and missed fenris a lot! Seeing what life in Sweden is like is also awesome! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing this video!! I will be travelling through this part of Sweden in July!! Just love watching your videos, which have inspired me to travel more and to reconsider where I will be living in the future.
WOW, one of your best vids. Rural sweden is really amazing. Love that you shared this place with us.
Thank you for showing us this part of Sweden Cecilia. Olivia and Einar’s property is massive it’s not often you get two houses as well as barns etc they have done well. It was fabulous to see Christoffer as usual and I loved your VPN ad with Grim very cute. I’m already looking forward to your next video ❤
I love the way your friends decorated their home. It looks like a very nice life for them. Really enjoyed this video.🙂
Simply gorgeous.....once again! Your videos leave me so calm, Cecelia. You have such a gift. And I'm so glad you share it with us, as i truly enjoy seeing you all every week, even if it's a stay-at-home venture. I love it. ❤😅
Great vid C! So heartwarming to see Fenris, Olivia and Einer again (we miss you guys)! And new baby Wivi - hello young one
What a lovely trip to see your besties, their beautiful baby, and Fenris again! And a bonus doggo,, one that is super cute too! Thank you for taking us along for the JOY!🥰💝💖💙💛P.S. Seeing Grim at home "minding the store' was wonderful too!! 💞
Thank you for such a beautiful visit with your friends. It is just amazing that there is another place just as beautiful as where you are living. My ancestors are from some part of Sweden and I would love to be able to visit there one day. Bless You All 🙏❤️
That Little Miss!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 This was a fun video - thanks to all of you for sharing! Their home reminds me of the middle part of Alberta (my home province in Canada), close to a couple of lakes. I grew up in the Caribbean and we would visit the mountains as well as cabins close to the lake when we came home at Christmas and this feels very familiar. I am ready to move 🤣🤣🤣 Plus, I LOVE coffee - Danish and Hungarian and Canadian in my family ☕☕☕We also had furry, funny doggies ♥
The sun rises and sets at almost the same time every day in the Caribbean. I always craved snow and cold and long winter nights and still love it (and, always will). How wonderful!
♥
I loved this video, so great to see such a beautiful snowy place (it is very much summer here in Sydney). Glad Olivia and Einar are doing well and how adorable is Wivi? So cute.
As always your video is so perfectly shot…the drone footage is absolutely breathtaking. You and Cristofer have such an innate ability to capture life’s most aesthetically pleasing moments.
Your friends’ property is simply beautiful, like a slice of Heaven. I wish them many, many years of happiness, health and success in their home.
I really enjoy your videos. Getting to experience Sweden thru a local’s eyes is wonderful! I’ve always wanted to visit any or all of the countries of Scandinavia.
Those wide plank floors are beautiful. What a lovely area. And the town is so beautiful.
Thanks for taking us along! I’m sure you miss them, but what an amazing place to be able to visit!
Thank you for sharing your trip! It looks so lovely there and so much like northern MN. You have wonderful friends and we thank them too for allowing us into their home. 😄
I'm happy that you have joined your dear friends in Sweden. They live on a beautiful property where nature is amazing. Their kid is so cute and Fenris, too. Enjoy your stay in this nice country❤
Vilken fin gård i Jämtland! Grattis, Olivia & Einar. It's not to compare to my little cottage in Värmland.
Thank you, Cecilia, for posting this video. It reminds me at my stays in Jämtland and Östersund.

I loved this video ❤❤❤❤ thank you for sharing that part of Sweden with us, the Fenris family .
Thank you to Olivia and Dinar for sharing your beautiful new home!! Its definitely a little slice of heaven. It was great to see Fenris and Wivi does look so much like Einar! This was such a lovely video!
It was so good to see them and the baby is so adorable. Oh my goodness Fen ❤ the house is absolutely gorgeous and decorated so beautifully.
