Just a tip. If you're heating wax on a stove, then monitor it. Never leave it unattended because if you have even a tiny amount of wax set on fire from the heat from the stove, and you put even a little amount of water in it then the fire will make a mushroom cloud looking thing and fill up your entire kitchen and maybe some other rooms with just fire.
I'd like to see a way to get airflow up through the flute holes in the corrugated board then light it you may get a hotter flame with airflow to the fire .
Should "double boil" the wax to prevent a flair up. Put water in first pan, put another pan inside that one with wax in it. Heat the water and the heat will transfer to the wax pan. Then it won't be sizzling hot when you pour it>
Be careful melting wax. I suggest doing the melting outside. Wax is hard to put out if there is an accident with spillage or if it is left on the heat too long.
I guess you do it at home and carry it with you to use at camping. and it is supossed to burn much better than an actual candle, so you use it instead of doing a fire
We made these in school when i was in grade 5. We used a large 3L tomato ketchup can or similar can with one end removed and put holes around the side of the closed end for vents. light the burner and put the open end of the large can over and used the closed end as a cook top for a pot, or cooked right on the top.
I've made theses burners before and I found that if you brake up a fire lighter and put it on the surface of the wax you can light it alot easier in bad conditions.
Erm... I'm not sure if you're joking or if you have never done anything like this. He blows it out under a minute of lighting it, of course it's not hot yet. If you're joking, then ignore my comment.
I use the unburned parts of many candles. Some candles are a little to big for one wick so they leave some wax at the top . Plus once you are done with it there will be the bottom part .
I make these with my candle ends and I use them to help start pirates campfires while camping or when we lose power in the winter to cook with on the grill. mine last about 45 minutes to 2 hours each of non stop cooking depending on the can size and how tight the cardboard is rolled. it doesn't work as well with cardboard that doesn't have those divit things. it has to have the pockets inside the cardboard to work well.
I love your show, you are very resourceful. I have many Russian friends and ive come to respect the Russian people as some of the most resilient and resourceful people in the world. Thanks for all of the useful information.
It works better to melt the wax in the can first. Fill 3/4 , then roll cardboard dip the top half in first. Wait till it cools and place in the can. let it slowly unwind
so you need a CANDLE and a mobile BURNER to get a candle/burner **slow clap** you could just feed a candle with paper towels, once they get soaked in the wax they won't burn and the flame gets bigger
Would grease from other previously cooked foods work as well? Be a great way to get more use out of your stuff. Oils? That way you wouldnt have to wreck a candle to make a candle :P
I have a good trick, you can open a tuna can and cover it with a few strips of toilet paper, you then soak the middle piece in the oil and leave the corners of the paper dry, you then ignite the corners and it will give you a burn between 20 to an hour+ depending on the type of oil and a few other factors, at the end when it goes out you will be left with cooked tuna which tastes great, you can also do this without the tuna I guess, good luck!
Just buy a hexi burner its what the army use to cook meals on the field. there like 3.50 online and you can buy the fire lighters with them. oh and buy some mess tins they help.
That's the wrong way to burn candles. Usually the right way, is to have two pans, one with water and smaller one which goes inside the water. That way the chemicals doesn't burn off, and the melting temperature doesnt make it get screwed. Great videos, keep up, I'm old subscriber.
LOL... I made these when I was in Boy Scouts. We also made really small ones using just cardboard dipped into wax as fire starters. You shouldn't burn these in confined spaces. Waxy soot will coat everything.
Take natural clay instead of cans! It's safer (which doesn't mean you can't start wildfires with it), environmentally friendlier and fancier. The result should be a nice, longlasting candle you propably don't want to cook on.
Hey joe what do you do for your weekends? "Oh I spend time with my loving family!" What about you Bob? " I prep for when dooms day comes and the gods try to slaughter us all." "Ok bob I'm going to go jump out a window now"
how to make candle
1. get a candle
2. destroy candle
3. boil candle
4. make a candle with candle
To make a BETTER candle.

You don't have to boil the wax, just melt it enough to pour. Great idea, I will definitely use!
I'd like to see a way to get airflow up through the flute holes in the corrugated board then light it you may get a hotter flame with airflow to the fire .

"Safety is number wan prerty" touches hot can with bare hands.
Be careful melting wax. I suggest doing the melting outside. Wax is hard to put out if there is an accident with spillage or if it is left on the heat too long.
if you want to make a stove just melt some wax on a stove
its still good for prep tho
I guess you do it at home and carry it with you to use at camping. and it is supossed to burn much better than an actual candle, so you use it instead of doing a fire

"when it's done it'll be very hot, so be careful. *picks up hot can*" wow.
I literally burst laughing hard when he said/did that.
Well, safety is his number one priority.
Erm... I'm not sure if you're joking or if you have never done anything like this. He blows it out under a minute of lighting it, of course it's not hot yet.

Great for camping & backpacking! Thanks! 👍😉
why does it have bubbles when you pour it in?

You could do with making sure people know that wax is flammable at really high temperatures. I learnt that the hard way recently
Can you do a house tour?
this is actually really cool and easy, and it looks like it burns hot, im so going to try this.
From the tittle and the thumbnail picture I thought you were burning tuna in a can.

It will give your steak a yummy paraffin flavor.
Paraffin, in russian is wax.
belleepoque777 Really?
+Chris Newman (Fat Libertarian Dude) yes
belleepoque777 They are the same in America as well. It's almost like chemistry is the same throughout the whole world... LOL
No bellee, paraffin is a type of wax...duh...lol
I used this principle to cook bacon and eggs using bacon. It works really well and can burn hotter than a wicked candle.
Fail fail fail ...... Easy! XD

"so if you like camping, or IF YOU PROPHESY THE END OF THE WORLD IN THE COMING DAYS"
so you need a CANDLE and a mobile BURNER to get a candle/burner **slow clap**
you could just feed a candle with paper towels, once they get soaked in the wax they won't burn and the flame gets bigger
I don't know why but I feel like he reminds me of Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Чувак, твой английский просто шикарен. Без иронии! Четок и понятен
"How to make a candle out of a candle"
but it burns brighter
+Erock 777 and bigger
I know lmao
Idk how do u make dat XD
Yea and melt the wax for your stove on a stove
Would grease from other previously cooked foods work as well? Be a great way to get more use out of your stuff. Oils? That way you wouldnt have to wreck a candle to make a candle :P
I would thinks so
Smoke
As long as it was solid at room temp, otherwise it would be messy.
I have a good trick, you can open a tuna can and cover it with a few strips of toilet paper, you then soak the middle piece in the oil and leave the corners of the paper dry, you then ignite the corners and it will give you a burn between 20 to an hour+ depending on the type of oil and a few other factors, at the end when it goes out you will be left with cooked tuna which tastes great, you can also do this without the tuna I guess, good luck!
fail........fail........fail......fail..........EASY!
Very interesting! I never thought of this its so genius and useful! You mentioned a bugout bag are you a prepper by chance?
EASYYYYYY!
Just buy a hexi burner its what the army use to cook meals on the field. there like 3.50 online and you can buy the fire lighters with them. oh and buy some mess tins they help.
I love it when u do the "fail" captions! It's really funny😂😂😂
wow ^^ , this is so amazing for cooking ^^ .
a candle by 50 ! thank you
In the manliest way, my heart melted when I saw the dog.
That's the wrong way to burn candles. Usually the right way, is to have two pans, one with water and smaller one which goes inside the water. That way the chemicals doesn't burn off, and the melting temperature doesnt make it get screwed.
Great videos, keep up, I'm old subscriber.
Great idea, I might make one to take to a festival... So simple and clever and ideal for camping. Nice one buddy
I've done this, they work surprisingly well.
I just found this channel and I already love it!
Just gotta see all your videos.. n BOOM..! We'll be ready for an apocalypse.. Love your work.. 👌👍
when I was a little kiddo, we made these in school for our 6th grade camping trip. they work very good.
'You can use it as a candle or a stove' 1. You used a perfectly fine working STOVE to melt the wax 2. You used the wax from the CANDLE
I love how he uses a burner, to make a burner. Good thinking.
LOL... I made these when I was in Boy Scouts. We also made really small ones using just cardboard dipped into wax as fire starters.
You shouldn't burn these in confined spaces. Waxy soot will coat everything.
I love your dog Hugo. Also love watching your videos.
easy,
its preety cool!
it is working and also you can throw popcorn on it and it will be cooked
Aww what a gorgeous pup 👍🐶
Look at this PUPPY, JEEZ THATS A BIG PUPPY!
Thank you, Crazy Russian Hacker! This is useful for when I go camping with friends.
great for camping! could also add citronella oil so it repells mosquitos :)
u could use old candle pieces like old birthday candles and the candle "husks" from the huge candles. Any way i loved this thanks.
i find it cool how much you love hugo also hes a cute pup
thanks!! perfect for a hurricaine party!! love your accent!!
crazy. I love how you put those fail subtitles its really funny. keep on doing that please
Really glad i could make a candle out of an already existing candle.
Take natural clay instead of cans! It's safer (which doesn't mean you can't start wildfires with it), environmentally friendlier and fancier. The result should be a nice, longlasting candle you propably don't want to cook on.
They are also used in mini camp stove. Good to make one and keep it as an emergency stove fuel. I made one for my esbit stove.
easy so easy after so many tried he blew it out 10/10 well done you did it
hey you should use the "flow frame" to harvest honey easier without disturbing the bees
if you can find a metal can with a lid its even better because you can just close the lid to turn it off.
crazy russian hacker is the type of guy that teaches us that literally everything is flammable is useful for the apocalypse
all this is really good preparation for the zombie Apocalypse

Hey joe what do you do for your weekends? "Oh I spend time with my loving family!" What about you Bob? " I prep for when dooms day comes and the gods try to slaughter us all." "Ok bob I'm going to go jump out a window now"
