I dont believe the 31 Chevy didn't choke losing the lead towards the end. That was a racing traffic incident that, unfortunately, he chose the wrong lane.
Yeah that's another way to look at it! I stand by it though, Cadillac was the class of the GTP class all day but the best car doesn't always win! Not taking away anything from Porsche Tandy put in a pheonominal final stint!
To say that Porsche “stole” the win is to minimize their great strategy and driving skills. Aitken made a crucial mistake and read the GTD traffic situation incorrectly. I do think that Pipo should finish races and maybe let Aitken start. Pipo is strong all around and they need a finisher. Let’s go #31❤
Cadillac was the class of the GTP class all day but the best car doesn't always win! Not taking away anything from Porsche and their strategy but the #6 was in that position because of a great final stint by Tandy! His great final stint put them in position to capitalize on the mistake and "steal" that win
@@offintheessesI see your take on the steal but “stealing” in my vocabulary has a direct correlation with cheating. Tandy outmaneuvering Aitken was brilliant and well played FTW.
it was a good race. I had to dust off my DTV antenna but it was worth it! 01 was my pick ....I want Seb and Vanda in the championship fight at road Atlanta.
Yeah it was solid! Looks like Renger is a little off right now but those two know how to win at virtually all of the tracks coming up. Gotta like their chances of staying in the championship fight through the summer!
Um, since the next race for the Michelin Pilot Challenge are also part of the TCR World Tour. Could you y'know, made a preview and recap on that race at Mid-Ohio?
I was standing along the fence shooting with my Canon R3, I got a sequence of 60 headon pics showing the Cadillac getting balked and running off the track thereby losing the lead of the race.
Cadillacs door to the championship is closing fast. We are already at the halfway mark, and they are not matching performance with results. They have scored pole on all 4 events and have one win to show for. We are also about to get into a stretch of tracks that Porsche shinned at last year. Cadillac needs to beat them at Road America, Indy, or The Glen or they may be missing an easy championship when BOP clearly favors them.
Surprised you did not show the dive at the last turn in the MX-5 race that dropped the 24 down to sixth. That was awesome stuff. Also was there an issue with that Vette, it looked rather slow compared to the other GT3 traffic around it. Also, imagine the racing gods grant Cadi the luck at LeMans. I’m sure that would really turn their spirits around.
Yeah that was a heck of a dive into the final corner, I wanted to keep the focus on the nice pass made by Thomas rather than the (probably overagressive) hail mary attempt! Their luck will turn around at some point, it would be a good time for it to turn in their favor at Le Mans!
I think it is important that everyone know Action Express Racing is owned by Jim France, the CEO of NASCAR and IMSA. It is nice to see the Cadillac get a favorable BoP, but there is something a bit shady about it. It is nice to see the 01 Cadillac winning, but how did they think that tire strategy would work on a regular length race at Laguna Seca?
I see you obviously didn’t watch sebring or you are thinking of last year as dirani crashed out and acura got the win over the 01 on the last couple of laps
What did you think of the race?
I was happy that Porsche swept the sportscar racing weekend with prototype and gt wins WEC and IMSA!
I was super happy that Rexy got their 1st win!!! This was a great race!
Well deserved win, they have looked strong so far this season!
AO RACING FTW 💚 RAWWWWWRRRR
Stole a win? More like Cadillac choked again.
Cadillac was giving Porsche wins in Spa as well 😂

@@offintheesseshonestly wild how bad the 01 was the second half of race being so dominant the first half
@@robertbearden785 Yeah, when theylost the lead under FCY it put them on the back foot and they just weren't able to recover!
People I'm mad at:
-Whoever decided to not show the race on Peacock
-Roger Penske for hiring good drivers
Btw, REXY WINS IN GTD PRO🦖💚🦖💚 RHAHHHHHH
RAWRRRRR
porsche penske dominance will bore fans
RAAWWWWWWWWRRRR 💙💙💙
Nice video. Definitely will have to go back and watch this race again.

Agreed, Pipo is definitely one of the best drivers on the grid with constant poles and fastest laps and his IMSA experience

@@offintheesses Tandy>>>>>>>>>.........Aitken. They should seriously consider starting Aitken and then put Derani in to close.

Nice vid. Porsche Penske win.
Rexy winning was amazing!! 🦖💚! GTP Battles were awesome! Just a great race
It was a great race! Great to see Rexy breakthrough with that win as well, they look like a threat for the championship!

I have some plans for the Mid Ohio race! Stay tuned!

Ay thanks!!
Multi class racing is so elite. 😮💨

That is technically T4, not T3
Yes! Got T3 stuck in my head from the broadcast and couldn't shake it!
You said turn 3 a lot meaning 4
yup mistakes happen lol
Next time just dont be greedy and look for your overhand before crashing into other cars and calling it a steal because they closed the door on you
They literally won Sebring but fair lol good vid as always!
WTR won Sebring, the 31 is still seeking a win despite leading a ton of laps thus far! Thank you!!
WTRAndretti won Sebring this year. The 31 Caddy didn't finish.
I see you obviously didn’t watch sebring or you are thinking of last year as dirani crashed out and acura got the win over the 01 on the last couple of laps
They would have won the 8 Hours of Sebring. Unfortunately, it’s the 12 Hours of Sebring and the #31 crashed out of the race.
