you do this so that the CPU is the bottleneck and not the GPU. You test at a low resolution (1080p generally), so that you're able to properly test for actual CPU performance. If you put a comparable GPU, then you're not actually comparing CPUs which is what this particular test is about.

9600X 300-310€, 7700X 310-330€, feel that unless prices change the 9600X is pointless with the 7700X being a bit faster and having more cores.

7500F without iGPU is very power efficiency. Almost neck to neck with 7600x while using only 40-50w. I like that.
