This may be the #1 best product ever produced by Arturia. Very excited about getting a DrumBrute.
Hearing all this new gear with same old 4 on the floor patterns is exhausting. I really wish everyone would put their heads together and get people to demo something different with all these new synths and drum machines.
OAK CITY SLUMS I've been thinking lately why do people still do demos and do 4x4 beats, funk leads, or the same old synth lead? Why not do something new and show how versatile the synth is

Droka Steez I'm not sure what you are trying to say. But this is a very complex analog drum machine that does a lot. Every video demo other than the initial promo vid is a kick on all 4 counts of each measure at a quarter note pulse (4/4 if you will). Im not sure where you pulled sampling production from my statement or this video, but neither has anything to do with sampling. But has everything to do with creativity and synthesis.
yeah so what a 3/4 time signature... its 4/4 cause that is the easiest to do with out editing up already recorded music!
Yeah give me a black midi sequencer in hardware form 4 to the floor is slow and low note resolution these days crank up some glitch 2 the b*tch is more like it!
Does the MIDI "effects" such as swing, looper, repeats etc. go out of midi to control a sampler or synth ?
Was this recorded with direct input or from an overhead condenser mic?

Theres a general problem with this video in that she mentions crucial functions without showing how to do them. Should have been a longer video.
the controls, layout and sequencer is really awesome in this. Driving some dull-ass boring and naff sounds. Especially the kick. And those hats need to be able to be tuned higher, they sound so raspy and harsh. I hope they make a MK2 with the same box and sequencer but updated/improved sounds. Then this product would be killer
Can you dump pattern info via USB? 64 patterns doesn't seem like much.
Yes there is a basic software program for that included. My mate got one today and it's sounds are some what better than showcased here.

im fairly sure thats just how it sounds... other demos dont sway me from thinking otherwise. i LOVE the layout though. but it sounds comparable to the price.

check out the tt 606 if you haven't already. It sounds like the un-pillowed version of this
yeah ive been listening to/watching perfect circuit audios demo of it. especially interested in its tweakability. the price is slightly high and i hate the dial knobs for instrument/mode, but besides that and the kick drum (maybe it can be tweaked for more punch and less of a bounce), it sounds great - and looks fun.
