We have literally normalized abuse. I too would have preferred changing job then taking action if I have been is similar situation, because taking action seems worse and unbearable.
Everyone get scared when their career, character at stake but you can take certain action against abuse when there is firm support besides you, it may be your spouse, parents, brother, friend, anyone. Try to be that support for someone in need.
It's not just about that even the victims of the same abuser don't often come forward to launch a formal complaint and you start doubting your own actions

The open end may not work for everyone but that is the story they chose to tell. Really well shot. All performances were great but have to mention Anshul Chauhan. She really nailed her part.
I was teaching in a BPL kind of school. The principal always asked me to come to his cabin and stare at me badly and talk. It became very common. One day I shouted badly and he got embarrassed. So, shout loud very very loud.
Also HR department at so many places removes both the innocent n guilty from the job till the court case is settled which can take years especially in a country like India. People on social media come to judgements very quickly without listening to both sides. It's a very tough situation to be in for the one who has been abused irrespective of the gender of the abused. Most times the heads of different departments are friends themselves and save each others back. No option to be easy for sure. Women are left with such choices every day. And then they complain women are harsh.
Hugely admiring the makers, writers and editors of this short. This is unique and arguably apt end to the story where you have choice but with all your dilemmas & apprehensions about career, freedom, society, independence etc. Choice is always of individual & simultaneously its consequences. But the film does not focus on either of them. It tries to express the internal agony of a women where she has to bear this unimaginable trauma even after fighting for her all his life. Office scene(in the beginning) is realistic too. Many privileged males don't even believe what females experience here and there. Talking about the short, It is well written and portrayed on screen. The question is what is she going to do with the rest of her life now that this has happened ? Punishing the offender will not take away what happened but will teach others to be careful with their own actions. At the end of the day she had a choice. She just needs to exercise her choice but before that she has to heal. Many women choose not heal and simply live in resentment. Who are they punishing then ?
Most of the girls would find themselves to be the lead actress of such stories.... But unfortunately the biggest challenge the woman faces is to prove herself with LIVE EVIDENCES !!!!! Amazing story by the writer.....
Not all movies need open ending sometimes makers leaves the choice on us audiences to choose what ending we want for the story. Like in this story she have 2 options either to keep quite or take actions against her boss. So makers are asking us what we would have done if we were at her place.
Agree with u Proper ending may guide in such cases or may help to think wat v dnt dare to think But hav seen so many short movies expecting frm audience only to think wat will happen nw 😅 its a fashion too

Most times the heads of different departments are friends themselves and save each others back. No option to be easy for sure. Women are left with such choices every day. And then they complain women are harsh.
Neha Sharma is brilliant ❤️ What an absolute chilling performance ! 👏👏👏
Wow! Awesome! We need more movies to come out n reflect even deeper society realities! Amazing work Dheeraj once again!!

Editing is at par.
Congratulations to Neha for carrying the weight of Shivani's character well. Anshul is great in supporting role.
One ❤️ to the Director (Dheeraj Jindal)for putting it up this way.
Best wishes to the team.😇
There should be such kind of videos for spreading more awareness ..
Today - women in our society isn't weak and can face any hurdle on her own.

Wow, 'Vikalp' is a masterclass in storytelling! Neha Sharma and Anshul Chauhan deliver such authentic performances, really bringing the struggle of choosing between justice and personal dreams to life. Dheeraj Jindal's direction is both powerful and poignant, capturing the essence of the small-town girl's journey in a metro city. This short film truly resonates with anyone who's ever faced a tough choice between their ideals and ambitions. Highly recommend watching!
The question is...Will women ever get Vikalp in life or the word "women" & " adjustment " will be synonyms ??
ua-cam.com/video/ppeHBqWWso4/v-deo.html 😘
Nice question .
Really nice .
It's hard to say because I find majority of womens trapped even they are so intelligent & smart .
What was the end of the story ?? Will someone explain me ?
Its every girl story and a part of life.... well depicted
"Mumbai main dushara nhi manate" is where you got me.

We love watching these short movies ❣️❣️
Yess this is a huge problem in India like every women will go through this situation I'm soo glad that someone raise this problem like this 😊
😊 the end is upto us.
The women ❤
God bless all the females.
Most of the girls would find themselves to be the lead actress of such stories.... But unfortunately the biggest challenge the woman faces is to prove herself with LIVE EVIDENCES !!!!! Amazing story by the writer.....
Short movies are meant to be completed in one part. This short movie ends without the proper ending leaving viewers disappointed.
Not all movies need open ending sometimes makers leaves the choice on us audiences to choose what ending we want for the story.
Like in this story she have 2 options either to keep quite or take actions against her boss. So makers are asking us what we would have done if we were at her place.
Ms Chaudhary you can definitely choose to keep your mouth shut and let the viewers decide. Thanks 🙏🏾
Agree with u
Proper ending may guide in such cases or may help to think wat v dnt dare to think
But hav seen so many short movies expecting frm audience only to think wat will happen nw 😅 its a fashion too

Girls really are warriors! They first hav to fight with the society norms n with her own family for her rights...right for her freedom of choice.. and then again she has to fight with such dogs who just wait to molest these innocent souls! And the sad part is...that in this fight she is all.alone! Unscrupulous men just take advantage of their weaknesses!
I really appreciate this short film...... The writer has done good job💯
Ending of this film is starting of thinking how our society treats women

Lots of love for Neha 🥰🥰

Am I the only one who watched the entire film in tears? Kudos to all the brave women fighting. Shame on those idiotic men who takes advantage on women.

most of females prefer changing jobs thn complaining n messing our dignity n future...good story n amazing act
But what is the ending? Wt she choose to do? Where did it go?
It's real 👍👍when u abuse, then take action against culprits 🙏it is right " VIKALP"
A story is not story without an end (moral).
This is the Reality. Woman like mothers faced a lot of troubles but teaches all those to their girls to bear the same.. Its a never ending cycle
A very delicate and subtle handling of the subject. Kudos to the writer, director and the whole cast.
🤔
Wher is End ?
Nice story and excellent presentation!! My whole hearted wish for the team🙏
Incomplete???
What does she choose in the end?
Which vikalp did she choose?
Arey yaar jab assi ending kari ha toh part 2 bhi toh jaldi banaoo....iss movie mein yeh dekhane ki koshish ki bahot si ladkiya awaz nhi utha pati apne boss k liye bus sehne deti ha...lekin sabhi ko asse ravan jese logo se larna chahiye chahe woh koi bhi ho ...
Mumbai me Dasara manate hai...badi dhum dham se manate hai...yaha jo dar gaya woh mar gaya ....and Maa Mumbadevi ...Badhrakali Sawarupini...Darana nahi ...Ladhana sikhati hai ..every day ...every moment...Tabhi tho hum Maharashtra me is parva ko "Vijayadashami" kahate hai😊
Well what happened after that? What did she do? Did she keep being silent or did she fight back?
I want the second part of this.
How to interpret the ending anyone please
So what’s the ending
What is the end
Gaining through losing oneself completely is not the right choice.
It's great to see actors in short film in better way
ua-cam.com/video/a9oGsvR90-k/v-deo.html
Nice ending, now she has two choices and that choice will make her destiny....👍
Where is the end of the story? What message we gave to the people without conclusion??? Utter non sense...
Open end, audience jo marji conclusion bana shakti use your imagination. It was left for us
End kya tha?
the lift door automatically closed ?
WAKE UP LADIES..
FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS..DONT BE AFRAID OF LOSING UR JOB .THINK SMART
ACT SMART..
"Humne abuse ko itna normal bana diya hai ki ye hume abuse lgta hi ni"
Yes, these are happening in our society, only says that women empowerment, equality but a woman face that type of things which r broken internally, but I always say that don't compromise these things self respect, mental peace.Dont work under that type of people mindset,I know that to make a career so many difficulties came but take hard step towards that type of people.
The end of this film is not satisfying. There should be some solid message to society.
Conclusion?
Please use the guidelines as laid down in VIshakha vs State of Rajasthan

Harrasment of women at workplace is a major headache nowadays. It's not like earlier times when women used to be busy in household chores. Now they work shoulder to shoulder with men in every field. So we must prioritise this issue and solve it.
I don't understand ending, what does sje decide
There is no end..how we can expect about the end..is she leave that job or complained about her manager? ? Any one explain this...which is the best decision we make
