In this video, we need to restore a ring made of gold, diamonds, and amethyst.
The ring is heavily scratched, and the amethyst is chipped and scratched in some areas.
First, we disassemble, reshape, and polish the amethyst.
Then, we re-polish the ring and finally reassemble the gemstone.

I think you took a big risk by heating the amethyst with an open flame. The stone could turn white... I had a sad experience.
