  • The most important lesson I learned from making this video is that while corpses may come and go, giblets are forever.

    is this the most evil thing you've come up with? killing one member of a couple and then reanimating them, all while their beloved watches, in order to test their love? I think so

    The best part here is how "testing a couples love" was ultimately a sideshow that nothing was done with, so that one dude getting iced was basically for no reason.

    I saw people who put a fully trained and equipped military squad in a drowning chamber to reanimate them as intelligent undead super soldiers. Drowning them leaves their bodies in tact. Also, I think that the intelligent undead units can gain powers depending on the secret of life and death that the necromancer who raised them know. Cool video!

    You know, I was thinking about you trying to turn your dorfs into vampires the other night when one of my fisherdwarves that was consistently in a shit mood flipped out, destroyed something inside the temple of her goddess, and got cursed into vampirism lmfao.
    All that work you did and some random fisherdwarf of mine just happens to freak out next to the temple that she kept...not praying at despite the fact that she apparently desperately wanted to lol.

    Zombies in cages are a wonderful thing to use. They cant be killed unless the attacker can mangle them.
    Just make a bunch, trap them in cages, and then place them in hallways you can use to capture your enemies with.
    When the enemies are stuck, release the zombies.

    In my current world, it seems that every other guy is a necromancer. There is a necromancer tower every dozen tiles and propably a third of my dwarves are mancers as well. Must be fun fighting wars with soldiers that have fought and died a dozen times, propably fighting each other more than once.

    intelligent undead maintain their soul and faction allegiance. Those invaders were attacking your factions undead.
    Also you can make a necromancer undead to stop them going insane.
    You can also get them to join your faction if you wait long enough. I got undead military squads with steel gear. They just don't stop lol.

    Why and how do you scare a necromancer into reqnimating corpses?

    • @donbert
      @donbert Рік тому +5

      Necromancers don’t reanimate bodies unless they feel threatened. So under normal circumstances they’ll just ignore any bodies. In this video hoodie hair first uses traps under the necromancer to “attack” them to try to trigger their defense response. Then later creates an adjacent room to the south that has fortifications that allow the necromancyerto see into the room while preventing anyone from passing through. Additionally drawbridge is used to block the view between the rooms unless the bridge lowered. An enemy unit is placed in the room so when the drawbridge is lowered the necromancer see it they will get “scared” and will reanimate bodies.

    • @baconisyummy8065

      For the necromancer to cast his spells he needs to be in combat.
      I usually do that by chaining up an animal on the other side of the wall and telling the necro to attack it whenever I need his services.

    • @ilari90
      @ilari90 Рік тому

      @@baconisyummy8065 So you have him on his own squad? Nice. I'm just trying to think a proper necromancer army showdown, bodies being beaten and haphasardly reanimated in a maelstrom of bone and flesh, all necromancers panicking from the situation.
