Just a lil tip - if you add spinach to a recipe that doesnt call for it ALWAYS add more salt in along with it 🧡

I think the problem with the drink was that she used the whole watermelon and just a little bit of matcha (even less than you used), so the quantities are very very off, it should be way more watermelon and less matcha.

What you were trying to do with the spoon to open the jar, do that but with a butter knife (the blade is thinner than the spoon and safe because it's not sharp).
I do it all the time, it's never failed me

If she just banged the butter knife on the jar it would be the same as knocking it on the counter.

I make those truffles but with Oreos and white chocolate and they're the best! It helps if you put them in the freezer rather than the fridge before dipping them in chocolate so they're more solid and don't melt instantly!!

I routinely drank raspberry leaf tea from 32 weeks and I had such a pain free labour my pain tolerance is so low I was shocked not sure if it was related to the tea but I reckon so, 56 hours of labour and took 2 paracetamol the whole time 😂😂

Raspberry leaf tea is also super good in the week leading up to your period as it can really help to reduce cramping and give a lighter flow. So that mocktail might be a nice alternative to just drinking the tea straight up!

I always use the back 9f a d8nner knife to whack around the edge of the lid. It basically breaks the seal. My mum always said it worked because it's metal hitting metal, so like for like, but now I'm all grown up 😂 I think it works because it slightly dents the lid and breaks the seal

In North Carolina, where it originated, there is a drink called The Witch Doctor. It involves several sodas, including one called Cheer Wine (it's a soda and I believe a southern thing) and adding pickles. I believe In & Out does a version with Sprite. Never heard of lemonade and pickles, though.

Do you know why hitting the corner of the lid works?. What you are doing is putting a small dent on the edge which breaks the seal, using the handle of a knife works best , you don't want to use metal tools since they could actually chip the glass under the lid and the glass could break if you hit it just right. The dent should be as small as possible so you don't have to hit it too hard or multiple times!

For the jar, use a knife instead of a spoon and it will work, you just have to fit it under the lid so air gets in, that's all. It works with spoons too but they need to be less thick, so a knife always works better. But you know, knife safety while you're doing it

14:05 How come it’s especially suggested for ”mums to be”? Does it have something in it with a nutrient value that is good during pregnancies?
If not, I think non alcoholic drinks is tied to so many people. I guess I’m curious because it’s a subject I often come across due to never drinking alcohol, but with for no special reason (I just don’t really care for the taste or the feeling of alcohol). I find people have an easier time with someone not drinking alcohol if there is a reason eg. religion/pregnancy/addiction/driving and such.

I think the pickle lemonade sounds terrible anyway, but also…the gherkins you have in the UK are a completely different flavor than our classic American dill pickles. I feel like they add other flavors to those gherkins, and if I remember correctly, they are a bit sweet…which our pickles are not. So, I think this probably turned out different than it was intended.
Having said that…it still doesn’t sound very good! 😂

I feel like your quantities were all wrong for the matcha watermelon.. like in the original, she's using the whole melon to make the juice with those amounts of matcha and milk. For that size of jar, i'd think you'd need to put like two thirds of juice in and half the matcha and milk.
