My dad and I likes to go down fishing in the current alot in the beautiful rugged Ozarks in Salem Missouri.
Fun interesting fact about Missouri is Northern Missouri is typical Midwest while Southern Missouri feels more like the South especially in the Ozark and Bootheel regions of Missouri.
Another spectacular peaceful tour of Missouri. Who would've knew the beauty of our county if it wasn't for you Robert thank you again.

Awe you passed right by the historic Wagon Wheel Motel in Cuba, right next door to Missouri Hick BBQ. It was built in 1938, and is one of the longest continuously operating motels on Route 66. It is still open for business, the rooms were all fully restored/renovated in 2010.
Oh, Yeah! Almost one hour and a half of Traveling Robert in my Sunday!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my hometown. Many travelers don't make there way through the southern route. Yes... its under the radar and many locals like it that way. Kayaked the jacks fork river many times. Favorite summer hang out. Visiting Van Buren, Winona.. is like stepping back in time. Many still live in that era... refusing to modernize. And that suits them. Maybe why its still well preserved and untouched in many ways. Riverbeds are packed on weekends as families flock there to enjoy the pristine clean rivers void of trash and destruction. Hope it stays this way! PS... the Van Buren PO was literally underwater (up to the roof) in a major flood a few years back. Great video!

Robert loved your story about Missouri. We camp in the area around Eminence Mo. There’s is so much to discover in that area. I don’t know if you know this but Alley Mill is on a US mint quarter. OZARK NATIONAL SCENIC RIVERWAYS QUARTER
The third United States Mint quarter release in 2017 features a reverse design celebrating Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Missouri. It is the 38th issue from the U.S. Mint’s series of America the Beautiful Quarters. The quarter has a image of Alley Spring and Mill on it. Like I said I loved your story about Missouri. 24:37 Powder Mill campground used to be a beautiful, well shaded area but there was a big flood several years ago and this is how it was restored.

On this video, I've seen three ads in less than 10 min... this is a trend in others too. I'm not naive... I know ads are needed but so often? Hopefully you can find a better ratio. I was born and raised in MO. 30 miles or less from Branson and you showed me more of MO. Than I ever saw shame on me now I own 10 acres in Arkansas must get out my motorhome this year

All in all you traveled to some interesting places thank you for posting your trips my Grandparents did lot of traveling in the 1960’s and that’s me & my wife goal is to travel but we really enjoyed your travels and try to make it and spend time in Oklahoma I know you will like it.

I've lived in Missouri my whole life and haven't been to hardly any of the places in this video! I have been to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home though.
Nice movie! I have been there before, but will be going back for a week next week. Would suggest eating at the Ketter center in South Branson. its part of the College of the Ozarks, and is manned by the culinary arts students. College of the Ozarks has its own very interesting story. Very good food at the Ketter Center. Their students are working in some of the top restaurants in the country!

The large spring is probably fed by the Ogallala Aquifer.

Interesting this Hubble guy - he showed up on the scene just after Einstein was awarded for discovering a steady state universe - Hubble came around with his invention and basically made Einstein look like a fool. Einstein apologized for his fudging of the formula. Hubble proved the universe must have a beginning by showing it is continuously expanding.

Cairo, Illinois went downhill because it got flooded so many times with increased big river flooding from climate change.
The Ohio River may look cleaner than the Mississippi, but it is far from clean!

43:40 Something I noticed while watching your videos: why are most of the campsites so barren? Where is the greenery? Here in Europe most of the spots are separated with shrubbery so you can't see your neighbours and to hide their trailer/camper a little bit.
How steep were the inclines on your way into Branson MO. What gear did you use on the way down?
It wasn't too bad. Not steep enough to be changing gears manually.
