Two things that had me cracking up ( and I'm only halfway through ) I watch em on my tv now then come over to my computer to do thumbs up and comments. We had garbage plate in my husband's old hometown in Western Pennsylvania. Ever since then I make all kind of "clean da fridge scrambles" ( made a French dinner with odds and ends recently ) and not just for break fast. I got grits at that Pennsy place though! I was shocked! Got them in Seattle too but that's a whole nother story. Then we were watching the first set of falls and my husband said: "Oh lookie, he's pouring his IPA and it's an up close shot of it!" It did look like beer foam! Blesses.
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵🎵🍔🍔, I really enjoyed the beautiful waterfalls of Watkins Glen State Park. My son and I travel there during summer and fall seasons. Outstanding video footage👍👍👍👍👍👍! Looking forward to the next travel series.
Watkins Glen State Park is on our list of places to go. Wow, there were a bunch of people! Too many for us. We live in Virginia and have been to Claytor Lake State Park a couple of times. It is a nice state park. Most, if not all, of the state parks in Virginia are a good bet.
I just got done binge watching your videos over Christmas what a joy traveling thru y'all......maybe one day you'll journey thru Corpus Christi and the valley in Texas take you to lunch.....thank you for making my usually lonely holiday a grand one....
Just love it. You are taking me to places that I want to go and see. Waterfalls and Niagara falls and Upstate New York, you can't asked for anything that's is so good. Thank you Robert for all the joy you are bring people. Blessing, stay safe and well. Jacqueline
A couple of months ago I planned our Spring camping trip, 4-Mile State Park, Letchworth SP, and the Watkins Glen KOA as the state park was already booked for the time we'd be there. Great minds think a like :) Thanks for the really perfect preview of our trip!
I love this travel video because it relates to both traveling and life in general. And though my words don’t come close to fully capturing the essence of this incredible journey, definitely I can say this is one of the best and most inspirational destinations for travel lovers.
Hello Robert, the Watkins Glenn State park gorge hike was 'gorgeous'. Really, it is the best series of waterfalls that you've ever covered. Very impressive. It is kind of sad to see the end of the film era, but technology has caught up to it, making it a thing of the past. I was a die hard film person for many years after digital came out, but realized after many years that it was just as good as film, once they advanced the resolution. The whole video was fun today. Keep up the good work, have fun and always be safe, my friend.
I certainly enjoyed seeing your time in Rochester, my home for 13 years before relocating to my property spittin' distance from Pelicamp. I'm wintering in Rochester (that's tough!) to keep an eye on my 101-year-old mother, but I'm heading to Perry in January and looking forward to seeing how my grass has grown since I last saw it in October. Congrats on a fine job of editing your video. I know what a LOT of work that is to do.
That was a great trip. You certainly got your fill of waterfalls. Big ones. I was at Niagara Falls in winter once. Falls were frozen. What a site. But super cold. ❤
Congratulations Robert! You really deserve that and more! I appreciate all the hard work and long hours you put in to bring NY to so many who never knew what NY is all about. Glenn Falls is just a couple hours from my cabin. So nice. BTW- there's much cheaper campgrounds with nice amenities. 12 miles east of Walmart there is a very nice one.
Happy New Year, Traveling Robert! I have enjoyed so many of your great videos on my 32 inch TV. I'm getting to see our beautiful country from my living room. 😄 I'm taking care of my 88 yr old mom now so I can't travel at all really. So I am so grateful for you and your videos. God bless you! Safe travels in 2022!!
I really enjoyed today’s video. I am going to have to go to see the Eastman home myself. You passed near where I live in Natural Bridge Va. I wish I had known. Also, I use to go to Clayton Lake state park a lot. It is a nice lake. Congratulations on over 200,000 viewers. Happy New Year 🎊.
I really enjoyed this video Robert . mainly because I'm from that area of NY. Yes, that KOA is ridiculously expensive and for no apparent reason that they can get away with charging those prices. We usually stay downtown at the Clute Memorial Park and Campground State Park for half the price and it's a LOT more convenient. I'm sure you already know about the 3 Harvest Hosts location you can stay at in the Elmira area. We stayed at the Wings Of Eagles Museum in Horseheads when we were they this past October and I can highly recommend it. Sure glad you were able to hike the 'Glen'. You were there maybe a month early. We always target Sept and Oct to avoid the crowds, take advantage of the cooler weather and of course be there for apple picking season. Another park you missed was Taughannock Falls State Park in Trumansburg, NY north of Ithaca along side of Cayuga lake. Looking forward to seeing your fall trip back up there. We are in Florida, on the east coast as well and have traveled your same route down rt 15 and I-81 often. Did you spot the Little League Hall of Fame when you passed through Williamsport, Pa? Looks like you chose to take the route up that long steep hill leaving Williamsport. :-)
Your background music is not to be overlooked as quite the musical arrangement that ads that signature Traveling Robert sound to the video. I really enjoyed this video. It was very educational. You are like a teacher and a musician both.
I really enjoyed this video, Robert - especially the scenes in Rochester. ( I want to the U. of Rochester) Having your goPro on the motor home gives a fantastic view as you are traveling. So much better than taking videos out of the passenger windows.
I am a Nikon camera user and I have lenses from the 14mm, 20mm, 35mm, 60mm Micro, 85mm, 80-200 and a 500mm f4 and I used or saw before some of the cameras 📸 that you shown on the video. It brand back old good memories. Thanks for sharing!
Watkins Glen was absolutely amazing; I was mesmerized by the patterns in the gorge that were formed by the falls and river. Thank you so much. Happy New Year.
Merry Christmas Robert to you and your family from our family. Thanks for all the great videos throughout the year and we look forward to seeing more. Hopefully we will see you out on the road in 2022!
The shot you took on the North end of Seneca Lake, near Geneva is exactly why I hope they keep the park an open space. It's one of the few lakes left that has an open view as you drive along, unobstructed by condos and strip malls. Great video! I hope you can come back some time soon. We have a little farm stand on the way to Watkins Glen, feel free to grab a dozen sweet corn on me if you ever come through!
Congratulations Robert on 200k subs! I love this travel video on upstate NY....Very beautiful scenery in the Watkins Glen area especially Lakewood Winery.
Robert I have been a follower for a year now. I am heading to NY tonight to drive to Niagara Falls from NYC, glad to see all these stop over on my trip. Watkins Glenn Park will be a NOT-TO miss one. Thanj you so much. By the way I always try to look for your trailer when I'm on the road😊
I have been to the Corning Glass Center and was very impressed, it was not what I expected and is definitely worth the visit. The Finger Lakes Region of New York is extremely pretty and has over 100 wineries I believe.
Another truly great video!😁 Your getting better with each one it seems. Very enjoyable and the music is really wonderful.😁 Your videos are at the very top of the UA-cam RV shows none are better but some are equal sometimes. Great content.😁
And watching your vacation I think my truck breakdown might have yours beat we have to talk about it sometime , I was broke down in the Yellowstone area for 2 1/2 weeks due to a particulic filter smog device nice .
Hey Robert! So glad to see you shine a spotlight on my little region, I live not even 5 minutes from Harris Hill! I hope NY was everything you hoped it would be and congrats on 200k!
Robert - Thank you so much for this episode. We have been waiting for this since we saw on Facebook you were in our hometown! You did not disappoint :) NY is not just NYC!! We haven't been to Watkins Glenn in a very long time and you definitely made us want to return very soon!! Happy New Year!
Yes outside Rochester city is beautiful and save. I’ve lived in Rochester,ny for 10 years and there was nothing but bad things. I encountered 2 bad experiences that I would never wished to no one.
Just watched this video and got excited when you came through Augusta, GA on the way home. If you're ever back in the Augusta area, there is one State Park and about five Corps of Engineers campgrounds around Clarks Hill Lake just north of town.
Wow, what an action packed video! Loved seeing all of the beautiful and interesting places. The BBQ place had some delicious looking food and Watkins Glenn was so pretty! The 2 state parks you stopped at on you way home looked very nice! Thanks for the 2021 season! As always we are excited to see what you have in store for 2022!
Another great video! And thank you for showcasing my home area; The Finger Lakes Region of New York State. I know and have been to all of your stops from Rochester thru Pennsylvania. Watkins Glenn had plenty of water flowing (due to rain) for late August, normally it's a clear stream, not much volume. Looking forward to more adventures.........
Hey Robert, hope you had a good Christmas! Nice to see that you made it to the Eastman Kodak Museum--I know how it feels to tick off something that's been on your bucket list for so many years. Speaking of bucket lists, I'm adding the Watkins Glen Gorge to mine. It looks fantastic, it reminds me of Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch St Park in New Hampshire but on a bigger scale. If you like the "multiple falls and hike behind the waterfall" experience, Silver Falls St Park in Oregon is well worth visiting. Until next time, happy trails!
I really enjoyed this video! I’m familiar with Rochester,Geneva,Watkins Glen since I’ve lived in that area most of my life. We recently moved to Myrtle Beach,SC and this video brought back memories. You should check out Taughannock Falls in Ithaca,NY. It’s not too far from Watkins Glen. So beautiful!
LOL, I have a lot of those, I don't know how to drive moments while riding free in my rv. ; - ) Got my magnet just before Christmas and my shirt is on it's way! Thanks!
Thank you Robert for bringing and driving me along in your traveling RV. Seen so many places of the wonderful counrty. Happy New Year 2022 to Robert & family. Many Blessing!
Wow, Robert! Another great video! That floral Tiffany window in the Corning Museum of Glass is where my mom and stepdad got engaged. They also made their own glass flowers there, too! The work they do is impressive. You should check out their videos on UA-cam. They have demonstrations and they're fun to watch. Keep up the great work!
Hi Robert, love your videos. Have to correct you on one thing though. Nick Tahoos is pounced Tah-Hoes. I hope you can comeback again to see Seneca Falls, Waterloo as well as Ithaca and of course a lot more of the state parks and the unique locations on Lake Ontario. I would love to meet up with you and your wife and show you some sights that people miss as well as a brewery tasting around Cayuga Lake. There are several distilleries, too many to count wineries and breweries on Seneca and Cayuga Lakes.
We've been watching you on YT via Roku, so we never leave a comment... so I thought I'd pop in and smash the like/say hi. Wanted to let you know we enjoyed the Summer 2021 series, diving into Autumn tonight. I hope you are well, sir.
Great video. It's amazing the time that they take to write all the descriptive text for pieces in any museum that people never read except for the most interesting stuff. Must be job security.
First congratulations for reaching 200k subscribers, I'm surely one of the newest one 😀 and thank you for this another wonderful video, another one of my favorite. Especially when you were at that staircase falls, I agreed with you it was breathtaking another one added to my bucket list.
love the show, but i feel like you bypass a lot of good areas on your journeys. correct me if you've done these before, but i'd like to see you do some stuff in Shawnee forest in Illinois ( garden of the gods or giant city) also some buffalo national river area like lost valley or hemmed in the hollows (the tallest waterfall in middle America ) . keep up the good work!
We stay at Twighlight on the erie a couple times a year. Would of like to run into you. I just live down the road in Newark, NY. I have a 5 acre parcel all open you could have mooched docked, no problem. Safe travels
Thank you Robert. I enjoyed the video in Rochester back home. Also, who is singing your song? Is it you? Love it. I will go back and see the beginning of the trip. The first half/part.
@@TravelingRobert: so you are saying that you are singing, I'm Free in my RV? Also did you write the song? When I am driving, I sometime sing the song. It is stuck in my head. It makes me smile and happy.
@@jacquelinejackson4067 Yes Robert wrote and sings in his music with his band playing the original music as well. All music played is Robert’s original. That makes his trips so enjoyable as well. Love listening. 🎶🎵
Happy New Robert, 2022. Glad to have you here and on board for us. Looking forward to travels and adventures on this New Year. Most importantly stay safe and take care of yourself. Continue to enjoy your IPA beer whatever that mean. Thank you traveling Robert because your Free

Thanks for showing the finger lakes. We visited there a few years ago and loved see what alse was there. Thinking another road trip
This is where I grew up for the first 27 years of my life! Looking forward to watching and see what you saw!
My husband and I hadn't discovered you when you came to Rochester, NY. We're glad you enjoyed your visit. You make even our humble city look fabulous.
So cool that you passed through my home city of Macon GA, but pretty
soon I'll be living in Savannah. Great video!
Amazing sights from suspension bridge. Thank you. I want to go there.

I never thought New york to be such a beautiful state and the highlight is the museum and the narrow fall.

My favorite things at the glass museum were the lighthouse lenses and the glass harmonica. Looks like it’s changed since I’ve been. Time to revisit.
I went through much of New York back in 1959. It is a beautiful state.
Upstate New York seems amazing. I did enjoy this video, many thanks

Downtown waterfalls: Greenville, SC; Spokane, WA; Sioux Falls, SD that I can think of at a moment. Rochester has an amazing lilac festival in May.
