    I have no idea how I get here. I was looking for Tom Hardy movies.
    But... This trainer here, he explains it better then every trainer in my life does.
    Food intake people, watch your diet. And interval training makes you burn more fat and pack on muscle, it takes your body 48 hours to heal after a good interval training. Mix it up with a bit of running and weights, commit to it, dont expect results fast, it's not just your body you're changing, it's your entire life. And that makes your body healthy and makes it look healthy as well.

  • @Crichjo32
    @Crichjo32 10 років тому +78

    I wish I had a personal trainer like this guy. Someone who has all the knowledge, and can analyse and push you to your goals. Every time I have a sudden workout obsession, it usually only lasts a couple of weeks before I get bored of it or just too tired. If I had someone to constantly make me go to the gym, I would get pretty ripped like Mr. Hardy.

    Tom used personal Trainer/ ex -marine Patrick Victor Monroe (P-nut) to guide him to bulk up for his roles as Bane, Tommy Conlon in Warrior and Bronson. They used a method of working out referred to as signalling, working out little but often throughout the day, not bringing the muscles to failure but rather teasing them and? keeping under tension throughout the day thus building muscle much faster than doing a half arsed split routine for an hour a day in the gym, I recently put this to test TBC

      @stutrol 3 роки тому

      @@rumor-936 no worries man, I mostly got away with doing 3 sessions a day rather than 4. It can be tasking with a full time job but I used to do the morning, go to work, come home do another session then do a session just before bed. It’s manageable and it’s low volume so not exactly tasking but seems to work a treat.

I don't have any problem believing they got that big in only 5 weeks. I bet they eat a lot better than I was as well. Protien shake after workout, oatmeal and eggs for breakfast. Chicken breast and sweet patato for lunch, steak/fish/chicken/turkey with sweet potato/russet potato and mixed veggies for dinner.

Guys and girls believe me it is absolutely possible as i have proved to myself to pack on muscle in a short time frame.if, you do it correctly...remember time under tension, shorter rest periods and train intelligently, Tom's trainer Patrick says it all in the vid. Neck bridges. You need to progress slowly into these, beginning on your knees and after a few weeks, when you've built up strength in your neck muscles, progressing to feet on the ground. If you try these without adequate neck strength, you could cause serious damage to your neck muscles and nerves, so be careful. I do think this exercise is one of the reasons Tom Hardy has such immense traps though!

    I think he means in the sense that leading up to filming, he had a lot of time to train and eat. You saw him say he was eating 5000-6000 calories a day, which would have been nearly impossible to maintain while filming. As a result, he lost size during filming and as the beginning of Bronson was shot at the end of filming, he's smaller in the beginning of the movie compared to later on in the film, which was short earlier in the filming schedule.
