Apparently Tom has claimed that his frostiness towards Jonathan after he reminded him of his earlier modelling days was a joke, intended to wind him up. According to Jonathan, he was totally convinced that he'd offended Tom and felt as though he'd been well and truly 'stitched up'...he commended his acting skills for being so convincing.
Ever since I saw his excellent performance in Lawless, I've been watching only movies he stars in. LOVE YOU TOM HARDY. Can't believe I found someone I love more than Leonardo DiCaprio.
He is very beautiful! Very kissable! I loved him as Bane in the dark knight, what an amazing transformation he went through for this. Total character acting, cannot even recognize him in the roll, other than his distinctive voice. Scary, intimidating, and merciless!
wow what he said at around 4:00 totally made me respect him as an actor, I love actors that have that deep eccentric behavior. It reminds me of when I saw Dali's interview talking about how his eccentric behavior is all so he can express the cosmogony of himself.
4:52 Jonathan: "what would you like to knit first?" Tom: "a hat.." Jonathan: "no thats too boring" Tom: "gloves?" Jonathan: "no.." Tom: "a cat." hahahaha.
Cool guy, Bronson is the only film of his I've seen, and his performance is really quite outstanding, so I'll be checking out his other stuff for sure.
As much as it pains my heart even to this day Id say this guy is well on his way to being the next Heath Ledger. Very handsome unconventional features w/ a an acting style, like Ledger, that almost feels we haven't seen half of what he's got.
For those who are quite unaware of Tom hardy (Which is a fucking shame, he "was" the most under rated small time actor ever). But lately he has been blossoming so much more now, the warrior, inception etc. But everyone should watch "The take" Martina cole wrote the book, and Tom hardy played the part, and he was fucking AMAZING.
I've seen this interview.... ok, lost count! I love him! he is great! I've loved all the movies I've seen with him in it! he is a fantastic actor and insanely HOT!
@Tool2525 These are very interesting observations, Tool. The fact that we are noticing/talking about his ticks and looks suggests that he has some special screen presence. I think you are onto something and that perhaps he is affecting these mannerisms too. After all, he is an 'actor'. I have compared this interview with a couple of others available on the Internet. The most useful of which was an interview for the film Star Trek Nemesis which was a while back...
@sonaliegh it's kind of common the way he speaks. like you hear a lot of people from london talk that way but sometimes his accent changes and even i, an person from england, can't understand where abouts the accent is from.
I remember i saw this interview when it was on TV and i was like "Who the hell is this guy ive never heard of him" and now hes the main villain it what will be one of the biggest films of all time.
Basically he sounds like a guy who can build tremendous rage but also knows techniques to control them and is intellectually trying to harness power. Man, the role of Bane should fit him like a bat-squishing glove!
Yeah, it's just this fine line between greatness and banana's most really great artists have. Maybe somehow you have to have this turmoil going on inside you to be able to be really good at something, cause you have too, you need it not to go off the deep end. All through history the people that have made great art have been walking a tightrope in their heads, it seems Tom has that tightrope. I would be enjoying myself like hell up there, that's maybe why I'm not a great artist.
I remember watching this and thinking it was the most boring interview I've ever seen on Jonathan Ross. But jesus, does he make up for it with that face.
@jetulik it's not a fake accent, it's just screwed up because he's been in and out of american and english accents for the last couple years. it happens to a lot of actors.
@Rachiejane1 You couldnt be more wrong, your looking at him as a fan and are being protective, I see him as tom from school lol so I can relate in the fact that at one point we both were in the same boat both normal people, and the choices he made through hard work and dedication changed him into a movie star, im only suggesting how strange it is that choices in ur life can change so much for u, its inspiring not bitter, im glad he went to my school and became a success thats totally awesome.

"I never know what I'm gonna sound like until I start speaking"
I understand exactly what you mean.Tom has the same vulnerability and sexiness at the same time, like Heath had. And they both radiate charisma!!
his facial features are DEVINE
Ever since I saw his excellent performance in Lawless, I've been watching only movies he stars in. LOVE YOU TOM HARDY. Can't believe I found someone I love more than Leonardo DiCaprio.
He has the most beautiful face Ive ever seen on a man. (;

What an awesome voice.
He is very beautiful! Very kissable! I loved him as Bane in the dark knight, what an amazing transformation he went through for this. Total character acting, cannot even recognize him in the roll, other than his distinctive voice. Scary, intimidating, and merciless!
He is such a talented actor! He is also an insanely beautiful man!
loved him in Inception, "You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling" is one of my favorite lines ever
"So how do you control the turmoil within?"
"Knitting"

i'm so in love with his voice and accent!
I'm a completely straight man and have been suffering from Tomharditis since Bronson.
hmmm you don't understand how much I ADORE this man....
Oh yes. I watched three different Hardy movies this week. Can't get enough.
I like his rudeboy London accent- never realised...imagined him to safe 'yeah like...safe bruv" at any moment!
Omg he looks soooo good here good lord 🙈

Saw this guy in rock n rolla his part was brilliant its amazing how his career has rised

Cool guy, Bronson is the only film of his I've seen, and his performance is really quite outstanding, so I'll be checking out his other stuff for sure.

Its amazing how Tom Hardy can look SO hot in any kind of hair style!!!
This guy is gorgeous and a fantastic actor
As much as it pains my heart even to this day Id say this guy is well on his way to being the next Heath Ledger. Very handsome unconventional features w/ a an acting style, like Ledger, that almost feels we haven't seen half of what he's got.
tom hardy is the best underrated actor of the world
He's a great actor and his good looks are a bonus.
I love Tom's hair.It looks so cool !

For those who are quite unaware of Tom hardy (Which is a fucking shame, he "was" the most under rated small time actor ever).

I would so love to go out to my local pub and buy Tom Hardy a drink, I think he'd be a right laugh :D
I totally Respect this guy, Fantastic ! :D
I've seen this interview.... ok, lost count!
I love him! he is great! I've loved all the movies I've seen with him in it! he is a fantastic actor and insanely HOT!
@Chan3lprincess16 What was in that clip? it's been removed now.
he says "ya noo" like he's from Jamaica lol
In other interviews he sounds completely different.
It doesn't really matter either way though, he's a great actor.
He was filming mad max in broken Hill, in a dry arid area when the winter rains came and it turned into a field of flowers
this is the guy that plays Bane in TDKR movie right? damn he really buffed up for the role, looked like a monster in the film....great actor!
just watched the take, does anybody know what the music is called ,when he walkes thru the lapdancing club plz??
Kind of have a thing for his eyebrows and lips 😍😩
what song are they singing in the beginning? its by al green?
No, it's "We don't need another hero" by Tina Turner, made for the 1985 Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome movie
Those shoes totally go with that suit......
I've always been a fan of him and it's amazing how hard he's worked for Bane! You should have a look at the before and after pic of him on Images :)
@perfectlyjust What about if I put a tom hardy face mask on and ablige by that request. Would that suffice?
Hey, could someone upload the Tom Hardy GMTV interview please?
@Tool2525 These are very interesting observations, Tool. The fact that we are noticing/talking about his ticks and looks suggests that he has some special screen presence. I like the part when he talks about Charles Bwanson
@sonaliegh it's kind of common the way he speaks. like you hear a lot of people from london talk that way but sometimes his accent changes and even i, an person from england, can't understand where abouts the accent is from.
@Blacknarcissa totally agree with you - LOVE that our accents are all over the place. The UK rocks :)
I remember i saw this interview when it was on TV and i was like "Who the hell is this guy ive never heard of him" and now hes the main villain it what will be one of the biggest films of all time.
And now he has an oscar nom!
The most pathetic questions you could ask one of the worlds most talented actors
THIS GUY IS FOOKING GORGEOUS!!!
i find it amazing that people dislike him for *gasp* his accent.
why is his part in the take nt mentioned that was some of the best acting ive ever seen!!!
Том красава и солнышко ❤❤❤
great actor.
Basically he sounds like a guy who can build tremendous rage but also knows techniques to control them and is intellectually trying to harness power. Man, the role of Bane should fit him like a bat-squishing glove!
Glee Cast and Tom Hardy? Life could not get any better...
what is his hairstyle called?
Yeah, it's just this fine line between greatness and banana's most really great artists have.

"Sometimes I don't know how I'm gonna sound until I start speaking" Haha.

@olexia07 who said he sound black, I how does a brit sound black?
Tom Hardy with long hair, and with that voice, is a fuckin weapon.
only tom hardy could pull of wearing a suit with air maxes aha
He has fantastic dry humour, magnificent product of Britain.
I love his sense of humour...very dry british humour and his comedic timing is pretty good! :-D
i love how he's wearing trainers!
Eric Bana did a movie called Chopper about Charles Bronsen a few years ago.
where on earth is he from? that accent is very strange?!
East Sheen, London, England. 🇬🇧
Holy hell, he is beautiful.. It hurts! It hurts!
@Rachiejane1 You couldnt be more wrong, your looking at him as a fan and are being protective, I see him as tom from school lol so I can relate in the fact that at one point we both were in the same boat both normal people, and the choices he made through hard work and dedication changed him into a movie star, im only suggesting how strange it is that choices in ur life can change so much for u, its inspiring not bitter, im glad he went to my school and became a success thats totally awesome.

awsome actor i loved him in warrior
God yes. Those lips are epic.
@jaycbll My bad mate, you know who I got mixed up with? Collin Firth, I had the names mixed up.
haha that face change was hilarious.
Seems like Tom is in character.
He reminds me vividly of Marlon Brando.
@Vetgo21 you too?
@originalbabygal He does have an English accent...we don;t all sound like the queen...we have hundreds of regional accents.
