  • A 2-12V battery eliminator is a DC power supply circuit that uses an
LM723 voltage regulator and one 2N3055 transistors to provide a
stable output voltage, eliminating the need for batteries. This circuit is
ideal for powering electronic devices that require a variable voltage supply.
Fault in this device may happend frequently. In this video we find the
fault and rectify it with step by step explanation. The circuit diagram
    is provided in the video.
    Key Components
    1. LM723: Adjustable voltage regulator
    2. 2N3055: One NPN power transistors
    3. Resistors: For voltage division by using a rotary switch and
    current limiting
    4. Capacitors For filtering and stability
    Circuit Operation
    1. The LM723 regulates the output voltage, adjustable from 2-12V.
    2. The One 2N3055 transistors amplify the current, allowing for higher output currents.
    3. The resistors and capacitors provide voltage division, current limiting, and filtering.
    4. Uses 1-pole & 6way rotary switch to select the necessary volt.
    Applications
    1. Powering electronic devices with variable voltage requirements
    2. Replacing batteries in devices with a stable DC power supply
    3. DIY electronics projects
    4. Electronics prototyping and testing
    5. Used in all college UG Physics and Electronics Laboratories.
