How does yours set without cooking. Plus we put meringue and it has to cook 20.minutes. but for my boys, I make one without meringue and it cooks for 20mins. Then I top when completely cooled with whipped topping. I've also backed it in graham cracker crust, put same pudding in pie. Bake it 20 minutes. Take out over. Add tiny marshmallows and bake under broiler for 10 minutes til marshmallows toast til lightly golden. My boys call is a s'mores pie. Its divine. But it's all the exact same chocolate pie filling.

If this recipe works in the way Grannys chocolate pie did this pie i am gonna jump for joy because that "tempering part" in most homemade chocolate recipe scares the heck outta me an i will not even attempt those recipes.. With my luck that way would be a flop! LOL. I'm trying this recipe an i pray this will be the one!. I love chocolate pie an have tried them from diffefent places an no i have yet to find my dads hands.( my dad was a baker an learned everything he knew in Leon Guanajuato mexico. Ps he Used their vanilla which yes is the real mc coy. As a kid i sold coconut pies pecan pies an name it my dad made them an i sold them @.40 cents each. Anyway i think i would know a good pie an this recipe sounds almost too good to be true but u sound so confident am trying it. Thank you!!

I also have started cooking in microwave. Only takes 6 minutes. Watched clover valley cooks do it. Works amazing especially when you're making 6 pies for the church bake sale.😜
