Part of why the game looks so good is that the devs completely rebuilt the graphics engine like 2 years ago, and also due to the fact they keep tweaking visuals in most updates. Some assets of course are still there since 2013, but things like the open worlds were introduced way later into the game and the first one even received a complete remaster after it was introduced. You can tell the devs really care about the game's artstyle and presentation as they've kept making the game look better throughout its entire existence.
I just started playing Warframe about two weeks ago and it’s become a hazard to my lifestyle because of how deep it is. I haven’t had this much fun grinding since RuneScape.
First time I played Warframe was back in 2013... Back then, the game felt confusing and a little clunky, but showed promise. I truly got into the game in 2015 and have been playing it ever since, though with some breaks here and there. I actually envy new players a little bit, as at this point in the game (hitting Mastery Rank 30), while the game is still fun, it isn't quite the same as back when I first started playing and learning how the game works and how every big update really felt like there's a lot to learn and explore. Still... Warframe is still my go-to multiplayer co-op experience. It does a good job on the visuals, the setting, the storytelling and the depth of game mechanics... Obviously one can just slap some mods on a weapon and call it a day, but there's a lot of things under the hood once you start getting into mid-endgame content that can be fun to tinker with. So yeah... Would recommend! Though I must say, there's quite a bit of grinding involved later on.
Quick tip, crouch slide, jump, crouchslide, jump. Practice that and mix in the other movement options. Also you can aim camera up to to launch even higher
I'm glad you enjoyed warframe so far. As a player since 2013 i hope you continue your journey, as there is a lot more for you to explore and experience. I won't spoil any of the story, but there is about a 30 hour cinematic story campaign in Warframe right now with very good quests not just with action sequences but also very good writing. If you can and are willing to experience a very good story that is kept secret from newer players, then play until you have atleast finished The Second Dream quest which you unlock on Uranus. Since that's where warframe will start to show it's real face. In the meantime Deimos is fun to get to, and lots of in between quests will help you progress along. Many in the warframe community refer to most things before the second dream as though you're still in the Tutorial of the game. You won't be disappointed
Yep. Was really enjoying tfd until I got a stage of the game where it started trying to dos check its way into my wallet. Then thought I’d check how warframe is these days.
Trust me when I say this game only gets better the longer you play. After the Second Dream quest the story and lore really take off and it's almost like a new beginning of the game. It also unlocks deeper and deeper systems which switch up the gameplay. It's basically 10 games in a trenchcoat and it's hard to think of any game with as much content as this one, especially for free.
Many people have said the same thing about the game, definitely seems like it. I’ll be playing for a while and progressing through it. Such a fun game truly.
@@Calzee I've been playing the game for nearly 10 years, it's very true and it's crazy how much it evolved. If you're curious about the history of the game, check out Noclip's Documentary about the game from a few years back. Trust me the history of this game is wild, almost as insane as the lore of the actual game lol
Not for me, boring ass grind with no point. Grind then wait insanely long time to craft new item, then grind again. 😂 There is no point, no fun at all. The main story doesn't touch my feelings at all.
Im playing Wargrame for the forst time too, is a great game, looks awesome, surroind sound is great, and the best part for me is that it has stealth mechanics and I love it since Im a huge fan of Metal Gear saga
Warframe is the best free game you can play, no contest. I hope you continue your journey, theres a lot more to enjoy. You are effectively still in the tutorual right now, and the game expands immensely as you continue
I am thinking of playing this game when I have free time. I read so many positive reviews and the devs are fair and generous as the game develops. I just don't know how much will it cost to play the game now? Thank you for this video. I like the Mass Effect games and anything that is about space and techs. Will definitely play Warframe starting this year.
the game is very different to how it used to be but it's still fun in its own right, optimising completely over the top builds to do way more than what's needed for the fun of it compared to optimising builds just to get by
I’ve been playing since 2016 and tbh I dunno what’s happening with the story really, but the parkour and carpet bombing is fun. Since 2020 I only Played once or twice a year for a week or so at a time because it’s the same thing, different skins, farming with no real end goal. I started up right before the latest Dante warframe release and have been playing about 2 months now finishing up the helminth system and leveling MR (so boring leveling useless fodder weapons in the same mission on repeat just to rank up). Its something to do while I wait for a better game tho
It’s definitely time consuming but very fun. So as you mentioned, it’s great to slowly progress through and keeps you occupied for a while, many years for most players lol.
I've had this game in my steam account for about 4 years now and have not tried it out yet because of my game back log i like to do 100% complete on games and try to do that on all game (some I just couldn't complete 100% got board)!! This really looks like a great game to start playing thanks for the video will try it out on my next day off!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My best advice for a new player: make a friend who is a veteran. Warframe is equal parts awesome and confusing. You will bypass a lot of frustration, just having someone knowledgeable walk u thru stuff. Were really friendly. Just ask.
Warframe is a Free to Play AAA game, and has exceeded the challenge of time, the opinions of other game developers, and the challenge of making the game fun and exciting to play. I have played the game since 2016, and has been playing the game with breaks in between. If you play Warframe in 2024 as a new player, you are lucky since you are in the new era of the game, where a lot of changes has been made, had a new opening cutscene, UI, etc. And in the upcoming Tennocon 2024, there may be a teaser for Warframe 1999. Its truly a best year to play Warframe....
I played warframe for a year now, I quit the game now because of how long it takes to level up, I've been playing for 1 year consistently and I'm still level 15
@@martakarolinazmyslowska6903 some cosmetics cost real money, but most i think can be bought with platinum which can be acquired by trading items. outside of cosmetics, everything can be gained without paying (damn near everything)

As in the looter shooter genre, they’re similar in that sense. Constantly upgrading your gameplay the more you loot and the exaggerated movement with powers/abilities and jump boosts, etc
Maaaan…is it really worth playing right now for a first timer? I’ve been eyeing this game for years, played it for maybe 10 minutes then stopped for idk what reason. But it’s still on my radar
I would definitely say it is, I’m sure it’ll be a lot of fun and you can easily sink in a load of hours. A very active community as well after so long.
