- FLASHING WARNING! SMOOTH 90s ZONE AHEAD! DO NOT SWALLOW!
I return with more of my abstract animations for the album gods known as Autechre. Give me time and ability, I'll be doing all of their albums. Thanks to PIAS for allowing this fun. May you shine forever, so much of my favorite music now under one glorious hood. Or something.
This album changed my world back when it was new. Some of the first cracks to appear in my Rivethead Armor, way back when, alongside things like Orbital II and The Orb's early bits. I've been into Autechre since just before this album released-- and what a journey this has been. It's both a joy and a little trying to animate these ooooold songs, but here goes. You can expect plenty more of the modern stuff, but I'm going to work both ends of their catalog at whim from here, including remaking some of my earliest Ae video attempts.

Ssssh, SECRET.
As usual, I used kdenlive to create my source videos ('visual stems'), then worked them up together in DaVinci Resolve. Both fine tools, indeed. Much more to follow.

Easily one of my favorites yet. The time invested:to:satisfaction with result ratio is SUPER high for me here. Such a favorite old song on such a favorite old album...and I went into a creative fugue to arrive here. Looking VERY forward to the rest of the album, closing out side A here on Incunabula. Oh, but the number of times I tripped as a youth to this album...finally it feels like the ode it SHOULD be, coming together. I actually am least likely to spin this album nowadays simply because of the massive number of times I already have. It's fun to renew that license in this way and I do hope it affects appropriate others in similar fashion. Bless you and the world you are a part of now.
Best live P.A. I have experienced hands down @ Coachella 1999…
Whisked away by this.
Truly, me too, me too. It was a whirlwind of mostly short renders that got longer as I went. But guess what? I had the insight of making a video out of all the visual stems I made so others can follow my creative path, if you want the extended version whirlwind as it went for me.... Because why not? Will be up later, though not in the full quality of the video. It would tank my production drive. It's 17 versions of the song, starting with the individual audio stems. I am also commenting this so those that ignored the more info box above will now go look there and find the link to this unlisted video just described. :) Once it's there...I'm watching it myself now, still have to render it, then upload it. It's two and a half hours long, I just noted. This should be fun for a few. Happy Sunday.

I guessed wrong.
So many ingredients in your A/V creations. Brings a new level of meaning to mixing. You're a good egg, BrapAllgood. I'll look for the extended version after it's finished frying. Happy Sunday.
@@SuperJorgeRegula Some coments raise the bar on what I should click 'Favorite' for, give that awesome heart to-- and congrats, you got to be one. Thank you for also being a good egg. And yep, it's freaking fun, though it will look like 4 of them are doubled...NOPE. Four are static and four were wiggling by 1%. o_o Just sayin'. Then all cream for the other 9. I think I will leave out the four wigglers and have this comment for those curious to understand this omission, so a bit less than 2.5hrs on the way. Glad I watched. Also, the wiggles combined with the statics are one of my favorite experiments of late. But the way I came at THIS VIDEO ABOVE was like a storm of the ideas I've explored, like I knocked over a pile and what I caught as it fell got used. Totally a Happy Sunday here, in the land of the WHUT?
