Honestly we should start a Reddit page and debate this because I keep thinking the same thing. This piece of art right here is better then Bike, and that song is transcendent but windwind is the whole embodiment of music. It is pure emotion and progression. It make me feel euphoric and also upset at reality. It literally changes my thought pattern aggressively like a drug. Good music just tickles this euphoria and existential feeling but windwind becomes that and goes to show you that music can be intuitive and thought provoking which can have negative and positive implementations. I believe this is the equivalent of God himself on the moral spectrum of positive emotion. This is the theme of humanity.

A Haunting, moving melancholic alien landscape of sound. Ahead of it's time in so many ways. Incunabula still remains one of my favourite electronica records, a perfect journey into the serene soul of the machine.
As long as I've been listening to Autechre, I never gave this song a listen to until recently, and found that it is a really great song. The music is very emotional and digs down inside you to get at a certain kind of feeling within you, and you would know what it is if it did trigger that certain feeling.
This track, this right here is one of my absolute favourites ever! So powerful, deep, substantial, transcendental, emotive, otherworldly, futuristic... I could go on. It has 'everything' I like in music, condensed into a single tune. Timeless classic!
Gutenberg inventore della miniaturizzazione dei caratteri mobili dell'anonimo Cheng. Inventore della pasta ad inchiostro che non pernea il doppio strato pergamentato di carta. Inventore del torchio bianca e volta
I consider this to be one of the greatest electronic tracks of all time, it's just incredible.

One of the best electronic track ever made
This never gets old.
Just discovered this track through UA-cam recommendations and now this is my favorite track by them.
Quite fitting that their repeated-words-tracks are hauntingly atmospheric pieces - Windwind and Teartear

Loved it then and still love it now!!!
Epic production.
Each timbre has its space and compliments the other.
How people can say they don't like early autechre, I will never know.
Early Autechre >>> Modern Autechre
Autechre themselves think early Autechre is cheesy lol
At lot of early Autechre is cheesy. This one isn't though.
+John Simon Better than 99% of their modern output, which is essentially completely random noise.
AtlanticSpamHammer, You're a huge pleb. Abstract Autechre is the best by far.
Fantastic trip.
It is so wonderfully crafted!
timeless.
so incredibly melancholic
Listening to these guys for the first time. Something tells me I'll have a good time! :)
In this sound i feel pure creative potential, the suggestion of pure bliss.
finally got you again, after 5 years. i want to float in space with that sound ,,,,, and you
I listened to this many times and never noticed how acid this is.
one thing: analogue synthesizers :)
Okay, now I noticed. So what?
@@Tycini1 not much lad, some synth lines at the end sound straight from a 303. Thats it
Second time I cry to this song. Last time was about 10 years ago.

totally true. Unbelievely deep music.
Sweetohm55 no one here is master of universe, and autechre knows that. That's why it's beautiful ;)
I will probably die listening to this.

around 6:30 the tune always tricks me and wakes me...i fucking love that...
When you live in the depths of the earth you hear tell of the windwind when the old girl makes the dust whirl in her chants
oh le bon vieux temps...
thank you
This moves more than just my soul. This enlivens the heaven around me, and sways the hell within me..
Doing an Autechre marathon right now, while Incunabula I did not find outstanding (it's a good album, though), this track is transcendental.
i link this music. oddly though this song helps me go to sleep

I feel like that quote from them has been greatly exaggerated.
