Wow, the La Finice theater is so beautiful, especially the resplendent box......
Another good job n thanks for sharing
Yeah so nice right, did you visit there when you were in Venice?
no, we didn't, I will add to my list n wait till next time go to Vinece 😊
Opera hse so amazing n majestic looking. thank goodness u guys made it.
It is a beautiful city.❤❤❤❤
Was really beautiful had an amazing day out ❤️
thank you for sharing😀😃😄
No worries thank you for watching 😊🍕
Thank you all three (3) of you for a lovely breakfast vlog! Watching King Charles carriage yesterday, I thought it was extravagant, until Teatro La Fenice. The colour, grand, I have loved to put on my 🎧and listen to my favourite Tidal music with a good cup of ☕ Have a great week ahead 😄
Glad you enjoyed it L H 😁 also good to know you use headphones for the video. We've been taking a lot more of the background noises since getting our new mic. It adds to the feeling of really being there I think 🤔 😁 (hope)
😂 on second thought might have misunderstood your original message confusing Tidal with the background noise the tides were making in the canals 😅
@@PeterandYen I am not much of classical music🫣, much prefer Pop music😅, love the setting of the place.
Wow... La Finice reminds me of the old Starlight cinema in Hunters Corner, Papatoetoe.... 😉😊
Lol really? Haven't seen the starlight cinema in hunters corner. Will need to keep an eye out for this one when we're back home
@@PeterandYenlol.... It closed down in the 90's... Last I heard it was a gym.... 🤷🏽
😂😂 o...
Such a treat watching your travel vlogs. 😊 can’t wait for the next destination.
Thanks for following along K P! 🙌🙂 Next vlog is a little island in Venice called Burano 😁
Lovely shots and really nicely edited. Even though I've been I feel like I'm seeing things I missed. Nice work.
Thanks Mark, Venice is so picturesque it was really easy to take nice shots there 😅
I love watching your videos. Very informative. Keep it up.
Thank you 😊 glad you're enjoying our videos
You look great together and i m happy to have chance to know you in person 😊😊 good Luck ❤❤
Thanks Mourad 😊❤️ it was a great week hanging with you in Fes too. Maybe can still see you in casablanca 😉👍
Beautiful Place and I really like your choice of relaxing music to go with the video. Sea level looks ok there in the canals although I have heard that it is slowly rising . Amazing Place 😊
😂 yes! I was also worried we'd need gum boots but apparently that only happens in specific months not all year round.
Venice! so cool! One day I will make it there, haha
Hope you do 😊 it's a really interesting place
Venice looke stunning!! ive always wanted to visit there. You guys planned it well staying just outside. id hate to lure my luggage up those steps.
😅 yeah totally and it's not a small island either. Quite surprising how big the area really is.
Thanks for taking us with you! 🔥
No worries thank you for watching 😁
Nice vlog 😮😮😮😮
Thanks 👍
@@PeterandYen you’re welcome
So fun to watch! I loved Venice, been there 3 times by now 😁
😮 wow 3 times, nice 👌 if only Venice was closer to New Zealand hahaha
Wow, amazing! It's good to you guys traveling so far away from home. Making moments and memories! My wife's been there and it'll be a trip we'll need to make one day.
It was certainly very interesting coming to Europe from New Zealand. Really different sights and even quite a lot of cultural norms to kiwi land 🇮🇹
Another gorgeous attraction and beautifully presented. I wish I could go there! And Peter popping up was a laugh 😂
Cheers Kiwi Col 😁👍 Venice was awesome
I really enjoyed your vlogs as they are very informative and I was wanting to know how you become very informative in your vlogs and what are your tips for me when making an informative vlog like yours.
Gostei do seu comentário...eu também gostaria de saber 😊
Just a lot of research 😂 makes the trip more enjoyable when you have more background info too
Awesome video, I like the fact that you two provide some facts about Venice. The opera house looked beautiful, wish I saw that when I was there a few years ago. Are you guys planing to go see Cinque Terre? I’d recommend that place, beautiful seaside villages.
Hello Doa? Yes totally agree the opera house was amazing. We do eventually make our way down to Cinque Terre 😊 vlog will be in a few weeks
Venice looks so beautiful with the gondola. I wanna ride on it too 😊
The gondolas are really cool to see floating around all over the place. They are 100 euros for about an hour, kinda pricey. Thought we'd just spend that on activities instead 😁
@@PeterandYen Wow 100 euros, that's expensive. It's like 200 dollars Australia 😱
Just as beautiful, and crowded as I remember!
It looks like you had a really nice visit and managed to see a lot whilst you were there.
Did you have any favourites? 😊
Hahahaha Rob... the crowds get even bigger in next week's video 😂
Yens favorite was seeing the view on the rialto Bridge in the evening.
I think my favourite moment was when we came out of that train station and got hit with this magical place that looked so unique.
@@PeterandYenthe view stepping out of the train station is so unexpected!
I've been a couple of times now, the first time I arrived by bus then we took a water taxi to St Mark's Square which was a great way to enter the city, but the second time was by train and it was special in a different way. 😊
Again some amazing opening clips to draw us in to this video! Heck glad you found that bridge; good thing google didn't expect you to swim across! haha! Yeah that's one stunning opera/theatre there! Wow! Yeah very amazing! Wow no milk in coffee after breakfast, is there a reason why they say that? Yeah heck that long line for that food, well if it's that long and busy you'll know the food is good! That square wow stunning old architecture! Yeah that was a full on long day! Wonderful sights and sounds!
It's a cultural norm in Italy not to have milk with coffee after lunch. There are quite a few cultural rules that people follow in Italy 🇮🇹 😅 this was definitely one of our longer days think we were out for over 12 hours 😂
@@PeterandYen Wow yeah that's so interesting and I wonder what started that with the milk! Yeah that was a heck of a long day!
Hey guys, just want to say keep doing what your doing! Me and my wife love your content, in venice right now watching this!
Thank you so much for the kind words and support 😊 it's not easy vlogging and editing videos on top of planning out the trips while balancing time with friends, family and each other so appreciate you both cheering us on 😁🩷 hope you're having the best time in Venice and that you don't have the same crowdedness that we did 😅🤞
Would absolutely love to visit Venice! You've done a great job showing the city guys 😊 The Teatro La Fenice and the Scala Contarini Del Bovolo in particular look incredible! Is there a big price difference between staying within Venice itself and where you stayed?
The prices on Venice itself can be reasonable but the places are much smaller (for the same price) or difficult to reach. Also didn't see many conveniences like grocery stores on the main island.
@@PeterandYen Okay, thank you for that 😊
No worries 😊👍
Hi guys 😊very nice video, amazing city and amazing couple!🤗I hug you, Paola(host Airbnb Rome)
Thank you for watching and leaving us a comment too Paola! 😊 We're so happy we got to meet you and stay in your lovely home in Rome ❤️❤️❤️🙂🙏
@@PeterandYen, I am happy to have met two fantastic and positive people like you!🥰🤗
Likewise Paola! 🥰🥰❤️🙌
Italy is magical for me! My favorite country so far and will never get tired of visiting!
You're right, Italy is a fantastic travel destination. So much to see. We will have to come back one day too 😍
Really awesome guys! Love Venice! So beautiful! Full of architecture & canals.... Really worth the visit. Hope to visit that place one day. Thank you guys!
It's a great place to explore for sure 🥰 every street is interesting and unique. Hope you get the chance to see it yourself too.
@@PeterandYen yep soon 🥰💖✨
Bom dia amigos, obrigada por compartilhar conosco suas viagens...divirtam-se bastante!
Obrigado Lucelia, espero que esteja bem. estamos atualmente em Marrocos 😊
@@PeterandYen que bacana
Glad you guys made your 9:30 booking… especially because a 20 minute walk is never 20 minutes when you have to film 😉… Was Venice the high point of your Italy trip up until that point? Looked really cool with so much to see and do in a very dense area… surprises the food line went so fast for the pasta… very nice shots from the opera house 😊 Great vid as always and safe travels!
Hahaha behind the camera I am running around to go in front of the girls and be behind the girls and taking all the various shots. But I think we still got there pretty close to the 20 min route 😂
I think Venice was one of our highlights because of how unique the city is. Nothing like this place in the world and when we finally saw it, it's something we both felt gave us a wow moment.
Italy was a really fun country to travel because each location had its distinctly unique vibe.
Venice is so beautiful ❤. Sadly tourism has forced so many Venetians onto the mainland due to cost.
Venice was amazing ❤️ yes, definitely prices of some restaurants were pretty sky high 😅 can imagine logistics makes everything more expensive there
Where are the signature flip flops Peter, you must be looking forward to the warmer days 😀
Hahahaha... there are even sign boards in some places saying no jandals allowed 😅 better to wear shoes when in Italy.
Hi, nice vlog I loved watching it and very informative. What camera and lens did you use?
Thank you glad you enjoyed it, we use a fujifilm XT4 with a 16-55 f2.8 lens
wow amazing, when were you there, everyone is wearing jackets and pants
We were there in April it was particularly cold this year 😅
What’s happened to peter’s voice, it sounds heavy in all Italian videos
I had nasal surgery a few months ago and a few people have noticed a bit of a difference in my voice
As a fan of your work I really would like to comment "Thank you for another fantastic vlog". However this one about the unique city of Venice is in my opinion just disappointing. I got the impression that you made some prior research and simply made check-signs on a list of landmarks. I mean, you can't visit Venice without having a lunch or dinner in style, for example in Hotel Danieli. That take-out pasta just looked disgusting but you still managed to react with a "Hmm". The famous glas factory on the nearby island of Murano, several magnificent palaces, secret gardens, and so many more must-see spots left unvisited.
