I'm glad everyone made it safely. Welcome to the next chapter.
Allow me to give you a tiny piece of advice. Since you have a little ways to go to finish the house. Move as much furniture as possible into the smallest room & store it there until an other room is complete. Once a room is complete, floors done, walls painted, ceiling completed, electrical finished ect. then you can move into it. Work will progress much more quickly if there is nothing in the way to hinder the work. Plus less things will get coated with cement/tile dust, paint splashes ect. It's easer to control the construction when the area is not cluttered. Just sayin

moving away from Angeles will automatically remove many trolls. The angeles location was mostly why they came. The other trolls will get tired of the family friendly content and just leave.

I have been going to Siargao Island for the past 42 years ... this is my take on pronounciation ... separate in three syllable si-ar-gao or shar-gow ... just my two cents ...

Make sure you have some safety escape route in place , if and when a hurrican passes by , from friends living there i understood that around every 5 to 6 years you will have one of those category 5 badboy swopping over , and looking at video in the passed those monsters aint no joke , be good my friend , looking foward to see your bike tours coming up...

Guard the girls in the province because you have money every chicks boy and tricycle driver will try and get them pregnant so they better their lives.I have seen this happen at least 100 times.
Unfortunately i have to agree. My stepson in the province was holding hands with a girl and all of a sudden, the aunt demands that they should get married! It was the best retirement plan she ever got!

On top of that, here is a little FYI: Filipinas tend to shy away from public displays of affection
You brought up a good point and major snag foreigners run into here. Sometimes there's nothing you can do about how things go here, and you just have to sit and wait. We're so impatient in the west and it can frustrate many. Those that succeed here figure out it does no good to get upset or angry, and learn to go with the flow. Glad the family has made it safely and you guys can get into a normal day to day flow. Have fun at your fiesta, look forward to seeing more of the new lifestyle.

I am an Island man living in the Seychelles, I know it will be a big change for you being from first a country like the USA, then to a big city like Angeles and now on a small Island. I do not know where exactly you are base but what I read about this island it is like the smaller version of Bali pack witht tourist. Keep up the good spirit man. I follow some vloger that are base on this Island like the American girl Barbie. I interested into follow you more now rather than before just roaming up Angeles City.
