- The Philippines reached the top of my list of most favorite countries after visiting 40 countries. Filipino people are among the most accommodating, welcoming, and kindest nations I have ever met. Even though Filipino hospitality & kindness is not new to me, I have met many expats in Dubai and knew what to expect from the country's people. 🙏🏽
So happy to be here and spending a few weeks around the islands to make the best out of my long-processed visa and share my experiences with you.

I felt bad for you when that lady in the green store ignored you, but don’t take it personally. At times there are workers who are just from the small province that were hired and have no education at all and more likely freeze or just pretend or ignore you because she’s scared that you might carry a conversation and could not speak English and so she immediately pretend that she was busy on her cellphone. You’ll encounter this once in a while but as you see that most Filipinos are very cheerful and accommodating people as our nature is really hospitable. I like the way you interact with people and I can guarantee you my people will love you too! Good luck on your venture and I wish you more subscribers! Take care and God Bless you! I will be looking forward to watching your blogs and I promise not to skip ads! By the way, I am moved by the gesture of this lady that tried not to make you pay. Yes she deserved to be rewarded and this is one of the millions of reasons why the world should come visit my country first before treating my people like a bunch of savage and uneducated people. Bad people are everywhere but I can assure you, for the most part, Filipinos are one of the most lovable and warm hearted and sincere people in the world. Some may not be highly educated but 90% of them are kimd and honest. Filipino kindness and warm hearted nature is innate.

Wow! For you to use the word small provinces is very judgmental to generalized the people from the province which you’ve probably never stayed long enough to any of those provinces.
You’ve just seen the two faces of manila. The better looking manila and the urban poor area. It’s amazing how easily you can interact with everyone.

US have beautiful educated culture and they care very much about the welfare of the children. here, they teach kids to not talk to strangers "Strangers dangers" because they take Pedophilia very seriously! and our country should do the same. friendly adults that directly ask help to kids and give them candies are extremely questionable act.

Intramuros is near in the oldest Chinatown in the world - Binondo, Manila. 😊 You should visit the famous Binondo church in Chinatown where the first Filipino saint Saint Lorenzo Ruiz came from. 😊 I was baptized there year 1966.
Enjoy your stay here. This is the way you do it as tourist. Try foods and interact with locals. Feeling the vibe. Total experience.

There used to be around 8 churches in Intramuros but were destroyed during WWII bombed by the Japanese and the American. The 2 remaining churches San Agustin Church survived but the Manila Cathedral was restored. The others remained in ruins due to lack of funds.
