Very entertaining video, the setup is looking really good too. I like the idea of buying brackets and getting some wood at lowes to make your own shelf instead of going to ikea and be limited with something too long or something medium with weird color tones that doesnt even match with your setup scheme.
It's bad that I didn't even bother to sand off the lumber stamp at the end of the wooden plank 😅. I think I'm subconsciously so over building furniture I don't even want to sand lol

Don’t overthink it tbh. Try and do something different than everyone else and aim for hooking in the viewer. I noticed that every setup video I watched had 30 seconds of shots to beat at the beginning and I took a *risk* doing something different. For camera movement, do simple movements when all other ideas cause roadblocks. I do a lot of movement editing in post but in this video I used this tripod (amzn.to/3LU96gh) with a ball head for my left and right pans. There are also gliders where you can change the A and B locations and some people use gimbals for unorthodox movements. Starting this year, the most important thing for me is to hook the viewer, keep them wondering and edit b-roll or any cinematic around that. I think you should get on twitter cause a lot of us creators have good discussions on this like this. Thank you for watching Royce!
I bought my rk keyboard a little over a year ago for a whopping… $6. I used a gift card and my Amazon points and I absolutely love this keyboard. I have the red switches but I’m thinking of modding it for a nice creamy pop sound. I use the rgb all the time, even when just 1 color such as white, in low light conditions.

Honestly you're better off with the black MX Masters. The white one stains like crazy from just handling it like the old gray ones. It looks gross after a while if you don't religiously wipe it down every day. And I do mean every day.

cool desk, but your A roll has way too much head room, your chin is cut off at times. try using the upper line on the rule of thirds as alignment for where your eye line should be in the frame. Hope this helps!
