You truly are the white James Earl Jones. I could listen to your voice all day. You could make a fortune as a voice over actor or audiobook reader. Have you considered putting a demo tape together and getting an agent Mr H? I actually know somebody who does stuff like that and would be willing to help. As always fantastic content.
So this is like a city where normal people live in? but every once in a whiles someone turns into a monster? How public are these people? like do they walk down the streets with people running and hiding from them? I was wondering because in my head this sounds like a good concept for a game like Bioshock meets Silent Hill. Where you the play is in a city where the people live in fear well you are looking for and being hunted by these Tortured Souls Cenobites and with each one you meet you have to run or if it comes down to it an epic boss battle where you achieve in some how killing one.
yeah. I'm wondering the same thing. Kinda weird there are humans living in the world where there are demons/cenobites around them kidnapping/killing them and turning them into cenobites. How did they get there? how do they live there? So many questions, wished they expanded this universe/lore.
I started being a fan of Clive Barker back when I was a teenager in early´s 2000´s, watching a lot of Hellraiser movies, reading books and, of course, collecting Tortured Souls action figures (I have Venal Anatomica, Talisac, Lucidique and Agonistes). I remember being really thrilled when I heard about the Tortured Souls movie! The first book I read from Barker was Coldheart Canyon, and googleing it right now, I realised that the american version's book cover (I live in Brazil) doesn't look at all with the Hellraiser universe, while the brazilian edition (called O Desfiladeiro do Medo) its much more wicked! Go check it out! (sorry for any grammar mistake, and congratulations for the channel!)
You have an awesome voice for narration. I would enjoy listening to you read something even as mundane as a restaurant menu... but I probably wouldn't have an appetite afterwards.
Yeah couldn't agree more with most comments( imagine him reading a nursery rhyme in a sinister tone ) lol but I could listen to MR H read anythin . Would love to hear him review the necroscope series by Brian lumbley. Mr H , did you collect many figures or models ?
Ashley Mallett oh dang. Necroscope sounds cooooooool. Shall be next after I finish the scarlet gospels. Probably wouldn't have heard of it without your comment. Cheers bud
skid mark if you like dark creative world building with deep lore and twisted creatures and horrific consciences then you will love Brian Lumley necroscope...definitely one of the b3st series of books I've ever read
Cabal was a great book and the movie was entertaining so yes some background on the denizens of Cabal/Nightbreed would be great if you can find enough information on them
Blind Truth that is why I asked Mr H because I can't find much info about them so I was hoping he could find some he is a lot better than me at that sort of thing
It has been a long time since I read Cabal but I don't recall an awful lot of extra information about each individual being in the book but it did give an impression that this was only the tip of the iceberg of that underworld that we caught a glimpse into. There may however be a comic book series that I an unaware of as I don't read comics which may expand on what I know.
*Hey MrH!* If you've seen them and enjoy them, it'd be awesome to see you do a review of the '92 "Bram Stoker's: Dracula" film as well as "Mary Shelley's: Frankenstein" by Kenneth Brannaugh.
I have all of series 1 in both small and large versions. I love these figures, they're absolutely amazing and would fit so easily into a hellraiser film.
I have this one. Local comic store owner sold me his personal one cuz he knew what I was into Cuz I was in there 2-3 times a week. That being said R.I.P. Al. One of the last true comic book guys I've ever read had the pleasure of spending time with.
Mr. H, have you done any videos on Nightbreed? I loved that movie as a teen, still find it a nice watch today. A good horror movie that stands over time. I personally have wondered how many different 'monsters' there were, all the different abilities, and how did they come about? If you have done a video on it, please link it, if not, maybe you could. On a side note: This tortured souls series you are doing rocks. Cenobites are my #2 fav of horror(Nightbreed #1 of course.)
Mr H, there's a channel called ObsoleteOddity who has similar excellent Narration and he talks about historical murder cases or similar mysterious historical stories. You both are probably the best Narrative channels with very interesting content I know. You should make a channel with him that would be horrifyingly good
2:57 No matter what side you sit on, denying the darkness inside everyone's hearts is only choosing ignorance over understanding. This, creature, sits on both sides, to the demented he is a canvas with glorious paints, to the sane, it is a gnarled memory of what once was a man...
I have the 12" versions of Scythe Meister, Agonistes, & Venal Anatomica. They made great additions to Cenobite Collection. Too Bad NECA didn't follow through with their promise of 7" versions of all of the Cenobites from "Hellraiser" movies. I wanted the Female Bound from "Hellseeker" very much! They should've least finished up with the Female & Butterball of the original 4 Cenobites in 18" versions as well.
So did Scarlet Gospels take place in the Primordium or the Labyrinth? In it it says the Cenobytes have a fortress within a city which differs from the other depictions...it also doesn't mention the Leviathan but has Satan.
Can you really call the Cenobites? True they seek out Agonistes, however it is based on desire and it looks like they can be killed on the Mortal Plan, in fact (Spoilers) Scythe-Meister was killed by a Talisac creation, and he was not a Cenobite, he was a surgeon who was into freakish experiments, particularity on himself. So I would consider them more fallen souls than Cenobites.
+Aeve Nova no. There are three videos in the tortured soul series, they all have the same opening because it isn't just subscribers that watch them and I need to provide background to what they are as they aren't that well known
I personally think your voice and narration shine the most when reviewing Hellraiser &tortured souls. Keep up the good work, mister !
0 00 Agreed

Chris Dooley Have you ever watched Undoomed? He's got a great voice for this shit as well.
Did you just assume his race? ;)
MrJimmyTide
He did a video where you see him in person
I surprisingly found my copy of the Novelette at my local GoodWill...lucky find or perhaps the Cenobites trying to lure my soul.
I wish clive barker would make a movie of the tortured souls..would be very popular🙏👍👍👍😉
Don't we all
So this is like a city where normal people live in? but every once in a whiles someone turns into a monster? How public are these people? like do they walk down the streets with people running and hiding from them?

Sounds more like a Pathologic thing. Very vague and full of pain

I remember these. Thanks for the backstories some of them were to high on the shelf for me to reach
You have an awesome voice for narration. I would enjoy listening to you read something even as mundane as a restaurant menu... but I probably wouldn't have an appetite afterwards.
You have the PERFECT VOICE for this sick kool figures lol... this series is now HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE. Some go for $$$$$ especially the 12' ones
YOUR voice makes the narration all the more better. I've listened to that novella 3 times now The toy lines are horribly beautiful
I have read the novellet. I thought it was really awesome. I would love to see a movie of tortured souls.
Yeah couldn't agree more with most comments( imagine him reading a nursery rhyme in a sinister tone ) lol but I could listen to MR H read anythin . Would love to hear him review the necroscope series by Brian lumbley. Mr H , did you collect many figures or models ?

Well done. I enjoy your videos very much. Especially the Hellraiser &Tortured Souls videos. Keep up the amazing work.
MR H can you please try to do some of the creatures from Clive Barkers nightbreed I really liked that movie and I bet others would also enjoy that too
Agreed, highly under rated movie.
1devilkat yes it really is underrated , one of my favorite Clive Barker movies
Cabal was a great book and the movie was entertaining so yes some background on the denizens of Cabal/Nightbreed would be great if you can find enough information on them

NO RUNNING THROUGH HELL WITH SCYTHE', MEISTER! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN TOLD?
Thanks for making these lost souls videos. Since they have been doing nothing . With the movie they help ad something new to the hallrazer universe.
Your voice would give James Earl Jones as Thulsa Doom a run for his money!
*Hey MrH!*
If you've seen them and enjoy them, it'd be awesome to see you do a review of the '92 "Bram Stoker's: Dracula" film as well as "Mary Shelley's: Frankenstein" by Kenneth Brannaugh.
There is no good, evil. There is no art, or horror. There is no pain, or pleasure. There is only flesh in this universe
I love hellraiser wensdays
Love your detail commentating I did not know that Hellraiser world was so big
I have all of series 1 in both small and large versions. I love these figures, they're absolutely amazing and would fit so easily into a hellraiser film.
Absolutely loving this beautiful series of amazing content you are putting out for us fans of the more macabre side.
I have this one. Local comic store owner sold me his personal one cuz he knew what I was into Cuz I was in there 2-3 times a week. That being said R.I.P. Al. One of the last true comic book guys I've ever read had the pleasure of spending time with.
the new batman metal "the batman who laughs" seems to be highly inspired by the hellraiser series.
lunatiksAlterEgo he was inspired by judge death
really?
lunatiksAlterEgo no batman who laughs was based off the killing joke what if batman went insane and then carried off from joker pushing batman too far
Desintia Xizon nice try
lunatiksAlterEgo the concept for his look is still judge death lol
Do DOOM demons and theories.
Mr. H, have you done any videos on Nightbreed? I loved that movie as a teen, still find it a nice watch today. A good horror movie that stands over time. I personally have wondered how many different 'monsters' there were, all the different abilities, and how did they come about?

Dial looks terrifying to make the Hellraiser cenobites looked pathetic this is a just the true face of horror
I remember seeing these guys at Sam Goodys and Hastings sooo long ago. I though there were pretty disturbing as a kid.
Interesting facts on the tortured Souls that should be movies based on these characters
'Hey Scythe- Meister, Tortured soul meister' ....whelp that was a failed pun, I guess I'll to take my tortured soul somewhere else.
So many Mr h vids today you're on a roll.
My head canon is that this is what became of BurgerMeister MeisterBurger
Had no idea these existed..thanks to you I own them all
I have the 12" versions of Scythe Meister, Agonistes, & Venal Anatomica. They made great additions to Cenobite Collection. Never knew hellraiser was a novelette. Learned something new.
So did Scarlet Gospels take place in the Primordium or the Labyrinth? In it it says the Cenobytes have a fortress within a city which differs from the other depictions...it also doesn't mention the Leviathan but has Satan.
Why does the back of my head hurt?
Oh yeah...that’s why.
Novelette can be read on the official Hellraiser wiki
+saba agniashvili I think people should buy it
Oh, i thought it was free. Well, doesn't matter. I've already read it for free.
I love this. Keep up the good work
Awesome video! i just found the novella in audiobook
I'm in love with this Work
These figures look mad wicked!!
I think it is interesting that the structures around the scythe meister's and agonisties' heads resemble a broken halo.
Oh you so have to do Suffering Bob!!
Ts is also an audio book I listened to it at work
Lmao i get the lego ninja add everytime i watch these vid 😂😂😂💁
hell yeah
They named him Syth Meister… That’s the silliest name ever heard my life
Love it.. do you have Phantasm movie lore planned?
Here's a blood chilling thought The Joker as a Cenobite.
AchilliesLastStand1 Batman Who Laughs? Fits the appereance
Are there young children out there that actually want these toys? More importantly; are we keeping track of them?
his waist is snatched
wish they had made a movie with these characters
You pronounced meister perfectly ;)
+katja knorr did I?!?! Genuinely?
Mr H Reviews Yes, honestly :)
Fools say it's art. Fools say it's horror. Only the wise know it is easily both.
Love is the first cut........
I would like to see these Cenobites on screen
Heyyyyy they didn't demonitize this video!
I'm sure you have answered this already but, which figure did you own? Also, I owned them all back in the day.
+Jesse Harrington zain
That cenobite is terrifying
agonistes or dr talisac are far more! lol
Mr H Reviews I think we can settle on all the cenobites being terrifying. nice video
Love you mr.H
i think these cenobites are 19th century dated, as like the rest are 20th century to mill.look almost perfect. their marks are like the previous life
More hellraiser/tortured souls/barker!!!!!
please do the mongroid next.. i wanna see what you have to say about that l il sob.
Question??? Should I keep my hellraiser action figure in it's box or can I take it out?
Keep it in the box. It helps retain it's value and give it time, it will increase in value
Michael Cairns ok thx
Please do a video about Szaltax. Please
Who's the king or queen of there city?
If I use the affiliate link and then change it to .com instead of .co.uk does it still support you?
think it should redirect you, but that also may work I'm not sure tbh!
Awesome.
A scythe isn’t really a good weapon for an assassin, unless it’s a Kama
Lord Inquisitor Wightman ....that’s a sickle not a scythe
Lord Inquisitor Wightman ....that’s a sickle not a scythe
Lord Inquisitor Wightman ....that’s a sickle not a scythe
Lord Inquisitor Wightman ....that’s a sickle not a scythe
Judge Wilson still not a good choice for assassination
Mmk...this one is too over the top...that's a helluva lot of hardware to be carrying around. He won't be passing thru any doorways, that's for sure
It was not tho, love at first SCYTHE
Is this a re-upload?
+Aeve Nova no. There are three videos in the tortured soul series, they all have the same opening because it isn't just subscribers that watch them and I need to provide background to what they are as they aren't that well known
That. Right there. Needs to stop existing
The suffering game has this too, scary
Channels like this go under the radar and shit creator contents flourish like the fucking plague.
ANIME?!
austin addision anime means soul in Latin
Thomas Wightman That's anima.
"Anamae Damnatae" translates to "Damned Soul"
