Congrats Apollo, you are now only a few cities away from triggering realm divide, and hopefully this will relieve some pressure for your faction.
Some tips for the day:
1. When you see an army kneeling down, that means they are in ambush stance. You can only do so by walking your army into the tree in the campaign map.
2. The nearest port in the north in Oshima is a military port, which means you need to damage it first, below 70% health if i remember correctly, before you can land your forces. So i'd advice you to look for any port that isn't a military port and land there instead. Your fleet is really week in term of bombarding target as well and there's not much we can do about it.
3. I know this is very nitpicking, but the city of Uzen right now has no economic building, so whenever you can afford it, demolish the two building there (dojo and training camp) and build other stuff there instead.
4. You made the right choice of not accepting peace with the Jozai (quite surprise that they're this desperate not gonna lie), because they have some good special industrial buildings that provide faction wide bonuses. Let us hope your conquer go smoothly.

I had no idea about the ambush stance

@@onyxcrusader9536 I'm sorry but I don't play Napoleon, Empire or Med 2, in fact I only play Shogun 2, FOTS and Rome 2 sometimes. Hopefully others in the comment would be able to help you out on this
In Rome, Med 2, Empire, and Napoleon, your armies will squat down and pull out their weapon to show that they're hidden and can ambush enemy armies. Also If you hold down the right mouse button while an army is selected, a tool tip will appear at the cursor which indicates if the terrain allows for ambushes.

Remember you can use railways for fast movement of your troops. Just order units to go into the rail station.

Apollo, in the city on the left coast (where you made the ship you will use to transport your troops) there are better shooting units than the White Tigers, you should make a couple at least (you have too small an army to invade the North, which probably has more than one army and one of them with 15 units or more) or make a couple of cavalry units.
On the other hand, when you manage to conquer the North, sink the fleets so that they consume less money in the following turns and try to improve the barracks to get better units before continuing to attack the South (the White Tigers will no longer be enough to fight well with what you will find later).
P.S: As a recommendation, when you face cavalry units (like you did in the siege in which they almost destroyed a unit by the cavalry charge), don't make a single line, but leave one several meters behind, so you can defeat them more quickly with shots from your rearguard.

Wow, I never noticed the thing you mentioned about shrines before! Just replying to your point about Buddhism. As you say, Buddhism has a lot of variety to it like many religions. Japan also implemented Confucian values and Shinto religion alongside their Buddhist beliefs so it is a bit of a mishmash. Buddhism is surprisingly accommodating to other philosophies and religions as long as they do not directly conflict with its core values (which can and do vary, some Buddhists think it is wrong to kill a mosquito while others will say killing is fine if the cause is just for example.).
Hi Apollo I have a tip for you. When you make so called badass navy, do one then. Make sure that you have transport ships if you need to invade someone. But so far I think you should just go up north and rule those people peacefully. But keep pushing you'll see the light at the end of the tunnel some day, good luck pixey poo.🙂

Its worth recruiting a few ninja agents as they will help your armies to move farther, especially as you are now bringing artillery.
After you have a few ninjas destroy the dojos in the cities you are not recruiting from and replace them with inns for more income.

3 pieces of unsolicited advice
1 you should really build a half decent navy cause once you get to a certain point AI spams more boats
2 build your economy up more you can get away with raising taxes to high amount at least every other turn
3 use geisha’s to increase happiness in more towns
Get some good units like black tortoise or the point hat azure something infantry they are way better than white tigers
Hey brov, you really should be recruiting from Ugo, that is your best site to make the top tier troops with armor upgrades etc. Otherwise, you are wasting your money.
