B sides are pretty tough so that might be enough, although I highly suggest you do the C-sides first cause even if they're really hard, they're very short and 8C can especially get you used to high velocity techs that you will also need in farewell
I'd do the opposite because farewell is much longer, C-sides can train you to beat this chapter, and remember the devs put it after everything in an update, even if they didn't make it all hearts required, but in the end it's up to you
@@Rosalinor yeah i bought the game on switch aswell a week ago, beat every level and this chapter took me about 6 and half hours lol, but i completely missed this route you just did :D
@Maitoparta Well this secret is well hidden, but it's a very nice touch about the mechanics of the game. There's a lot of secret in this specific chapter like a secret special thx list in a secret sound in a secret room, you should watch a video about it (these videos inspired me to do this one) Also, I recently beat the Golden strawberry on this chapter as well, the reason I'm saying that is partially bragging 😅 but I also want people to stay determined and not give up these feats if they want to do them in the first place even if it's on the Nintendo Switch, I hope you have a great time on this game for while!
@@Rosalinor wow the golden strawberry must have been quite the challenge, good job on that.😃 And also yeah i might explore the secrets sometime thanks for letting me know about them. And yeah you too have a great time!
It's just a tiny bit faster than the usual route, so it's useful in TAS, and technically in RTA speedrun even though almost nobody takes this, I'm guessing it's also a tribute to the technic players have discovered, as the devs not intended it
You want to aim your dash down, release the joystick so it's in a neutral position and dash right after that, it will keep the crouch state of the downward direction and will dash the way you're facing because of the neutral stick position, allowing you to go through the spinners because you have a smaller hitbox
they increased the room for error with a demolish in ch 9, so its not as hard. still impressive, especially doing manual demos
Thx a lot!
"demolish"
I hate doing demolishes in celeste.
They want to make sure that if you travel at more than 1 pixel per frame that you can still dash through the spinners.
Do you mean “decreased” the room for error?
crazy you did this with screen shake on, I could never
Dear god, when I think I let it on for 201 berries
what's the matter with screenshake? I have it on 50% and it's fine
@@noobfart it makes it hard to line up for things
This is 100%@@noobfart
I guess I'm not the only how felt like using joy cons in Celeste feel like shit.
Well you can say it's very unoptimal
Bien joué en vrai tu maîtrises de fou
On va dire que j'ai un petit peu d'expérience 😅
@@Rosalinorça reste quand même super impressionnant. Bravo
when was the setting for "Crouch dash" added? You can bind that and do a demo dash automatically
I don't remember when exactly but it was with the 1.4 update iirc, I still wanted a challenge tho and did it with manual crouch dashes
pc got 1.4 before others
Thought that wasn't on switch? I'm probably wrong though
@@eer2050 I'm saying switch and other consoles got 1.4 after pc
@@theiaraine right, got it.
end card kind of makes the actual execution hard to watch.
You're right! I'll try to change it and be wary of that for future videos
Hi, should I do all c sides first or go straight to farewell? I have done all b sides including the core

@@Cyrus_got_verified good luck on the C-sides then!

i'm surprised how you did it with both screen shake and no designated crouch dash input. That's like driving while tipsy without a steering wheel.
Impressive
Thx a lot man! I appreciate it!

Good stuff! What is the point of this secret route?

@@RosalinorBut, how the hell are supposed to find this without debug mode or even a guide?
@@Lorekeeper49 ahah Idk!
@@Lorekeeper49 you're not
I found it because I saw that little thing in (behind) the spinners@@Lorekeeper49
Bruh how u do 3 bemo bashes 2 in a row, how you even do a demo dash?

The rest is timing and practice
It's also pixel perfect.
@Rosalinor or you could just bind a crouch dash button
GG!
Ahah thank you so much!
Wont dislike because why but with that many views cutting the video would be beneficial
Thx, sorry about the editing it was one of my first videos!! I'm making sure it's not too unbearable in the new ones, sorry again...
nice
Thank you for this nice comment!
