Waiting for a game a very long time. Looking really interesting. Heal in air cool, dive kick cool, dash from start of a game really cool. No double jump, but it's ok. Thanks what team didn't forget about game and people which waiting for her😊
I love how satisfying every little sound is in their games. The sounds of the enemies, the sounds they make when hit, simple things like footsteps. The art design is beautiful, but the sound really made Hollow Knight for me.
I'm surprised this video was out for a month before I saw it. The game looks awesome so far and the combat with that boss at the end looked great, very fast paced which I think will be a lot of fun.

They definitely aren't stressing. They keep extending the wait time until it's the best it can be without a deadline. They're eliminating all the stress so they can work at their own pace and do what is needed more than what is wanted.
@@O111e They could still be stressing, but they are in a nice position being able to extend deadlines. Lot of indie studios say their second games are often more stressful than their first.

I love how every area Team Cherry designs has a really distinct and deep feel. Each area, simply from the atmosphere, has a really deep connection with other things in life with me.
I believe that Silksong is gonna be twice as big as Hollow Knight which is kind of scary since it took me a lot of time to get 112% in the first game. 100% in Silksong might be harder than the first 4 pantheons together. And it is sure that the Silksong's version of Path of Pain is gonna be fun :)
Twice as big and twice as long are two different things in this case. The night is a much smaller character than hornet and his combat was also much smaller. Because Hornet and her fighting style are much bigger, the game has to be bigger, but I’m not sure the game itself will play twice as large or twice as long as HK. I certainly want it to though- getting to 106 took me 54 hours first time through and I have yet to try POP or get to pantheons. (Forgot POP as hard as that is to believe, pantheons- I’m just not good enough to beat TOTFs 😂) but if SS was twice as large in terms of gameplay- sign me up tomorrow for 108hrs of SS.
Lace looks too likable to be a true antagonist. I think that you eventually team up with her (Like Hornet in Hollow Knight.) Or she becomes your nemeses and you fight her many times (Also just like Hornet in Hollow Knight.)
Team Cherry are doing their best and it shows, from everything to the little details, we must remember that the first Hollow Knight also took a lot of time and look at the amazing game they gave us, but we were not there to wait, i don't care if it takes time, i'll be patiently waiting for them, as they are humans too Instead of complaining at them, i'm deeply proud of what Team Cherry is, because they deserve it, and i wouldn't change what they are

I love this game so far, from the voice lines having personality die to Hornet not being silent unlike the Knight, the cool attacks like that counter Lace did, the abilities like Hornet’s dash thing, and the small details like Hornet interacting with the environment and the battle music having a violin showing how Hornet has more grace compared to the Knight’s more “primitive” combat style, i love how Silksong is turning out so far
@@Gopal_eats_rocksI’m currently on my first play through. I’ve gotten curb stomped by hornet over 20 times already and can’t beat false knight either. I’m having a blast to be honest. It’s been close to 10 years since I’ve really bent my knees and gotten in on a good 2d game. I’m actually really happy I can’t just beat even the first bosses in one or two tries.
Biggest thing I noticed that I don't know how to feel about is healing is very fast and you don't lose all geo and have to kill your ghost when you die. Definitely will make the game more forgiving than the original hollow knight though
Healing is fast because this game will be more dynamic than Hollow Knight. Also, you do lose all you rosaries (geo) when dying and there’s no ghost because Hornet doesn’t have one, so she will leave a silk cocoon instead!
the lumafly landing on the cage was so cool. that also shows that hallownest and this kingdom are very alike in culture, as they also use lumaflies and their power for things
Quite interesting that the heal prompt didn't refer to it as "Focus", considering her father is Pale King. Thank you for sharing, Hornet. But that's all I will ever watch. I will play it myself... someday.
I love how most of the boss themes are string. And since im a violinist imma make my string orchestra teacher (who also loves hollow knight) to play lace for our spring concert!
I just am playing through my first ever playthrough. Hollow knight has been my introduction to Metroid vania and honestly my first platformer style game. I have been loving it and seems I started it at a a good time
