It had a lot of different ideas that would separately be their own gimmicks in a game but all together made for a truly one of a kind story and game.
I’ll be honest I didn’t play this game because the bugs and that tribe in the ruined village terrified me. I had no interest in seeing them in a video game. However, now at the age of 31 I think I would give this game a try. It does look pretty great for a 2005 PS2 game.
The movie was a huge part of my childhood in fact it's the first movie I remember watching and I've always wanted to play this game. Also, Jack Black's delayed reaction at 8:05 is just gold.
I was 15 when this game came out. Was blown away by the graphics and presentation value, even when playing the Original XBox version (couldn't afford a 360 at the time). A damn good movie tie in game, few of its kind.
The XBOX 360 version is terrible anyway. You're better off just sticking with the original xbox version, better graphics, better character models, and little to no glitches, unlike the 360 version.

My older brother would have to play the level where you have to go get the fire in the fog and run back (while avoiding being eaten by dinosaurs) It used to be so scary, I remember running through the house to him the first time I beat the level on my own, I was so excited about that small victory. I would LOVE if this could be remastered. I would spend the money the second it was available.
you should do a video on epic mickey. it fits right into your ball park. "underrated gem lost to space and time, only now resurfacing into popularity." plus, the story is genuinely interesting.
Back in the PS2, this was (and still currently is) in my top 3 favorite games of all time. I've never seen any of the bugs you encountered here though 👀 The animations are truly incredible, and how much you interact with the world is mind blowing for a movie game in 2005. On the stampede level, you can perfectly time a shotgun shot on the Raptors to make them fall over in front of a Brontosaurus, making them get killed by a giant foot instead of shooting more bullets. You can also impale a flaming lance and let it run away, with the Raptor igniting the bushes around it and killing itself in the process
This game is definitely a hidden gem not many people know of it honestly and its really got alot to offer . Just a really fun game that did some really revolutionary thing's for the time it came out
One of my favorite games from my childhood, i would come home after school and just play this for hours but would always get creeped out by the jack parts

I played this when it came out because i loved seeing this in the theater as a kid. At the time it was the hardest game to beat. Especially when you gotta kill a TRex with only spears because you ran out of bullets
I remember playing this on the ps2 i loved pinning the centipede things to the wall with the spear throws and spearing those flying menaces out of the sky and the kong fight with the rexes was amazing
I remember how terrified I was as a kid from the Rex. A specific mission where you have to run up a hill with a Rex chasing you, because you can’t really run in the game I just remember being so panicked as it got closer and it would slowly open its mouth very wide the closer it got. Such a great game I have a lot of nostalgia for
Imagine if humans reproduced like tribbles. For those of you who don't know, they don't mate. They eat and then split like bacteria. So, imagine if a human could do the same, you sit down to dinner and you eat some cheesy hamburger helper, then an hour later you just split in two. Now there's two of you! Now they eat, split, now there's 4, they eat, split, now there's 8, and this will go on until they starve to death like in the og Star Trek episode.
This was one of the first games I played on my Xbox. I only got to the velociraptor segment and was constantly confused. But I’ll have the dust off the old brick to try and complete it. Fond memories being 5 years old and watching my dad and I trying to figure out the puzzles. Good times

Sony needs to put this on the PS store. I remember it being great as a kid and its awesome to know that it actually holds up!
you should do a video on epic mickey. it fits right into your ball park. "underrated gem lost to space and time, only now resurfacing into popularity." plus, the story is genuinely interesting.
Games these days are made to be profitable, before that entertainment was the most important thing
Back in the PS2, this was (and still currently is) in my top 3 favorite games of all time. I've never seen any of the bugs you encountered here though 👀
The animations are truly incredible, and how much you interact with the world is mind blowing for a movie game in 2005.
Love how when you take any form of significant damage your character gets lobotomized.
I still have that game on my ps2
Still love playing this game
wow this is a throwback, I remember my buddy got this with his 360
WE NEED A NEW BEING A PSYCHOPATH IN GAMES VIDEO
I remember renting this from a video store as a teenager, loved how they made it an fps!
I remember playing this growing up and the raptors would scare the hell out of me to the point I refuse to play, one of my fondest memories. I eventually managed to finished the game haha. I wish I could replay it now
Please finish the game with the settings u used at the end of the vid pls😭
Not going to lie, I still have my PS2 copy of this game with a piece of paper inside the cd case with the cheat codes for said game.
Hold L1+R1: down arrow, circle, up arrow, square, down arrow, down arrow, up arrow, up arrow
(Trying to read hand writing from like 20 years ago...) KK Capone, KK 999 mun ammo, KK st0rg
0:43 SO TRUE 😂😂😂
Shame about the myriad PC version glitches. 360 version runs flawlessly, but doesn't have those little mini cutscenes.
This was one of the first games I played on my Xbox. I only got to the velociraptor segment and was constantly confused. But I’ll have the dust off the old brick to try and complete it.
Fond memories being 5 years old and watching my dad and I trying to figure out the puzzles. Good times
I lost it at “FIIIIIRE!! ..I missed the fire!” and you started whipping your gun around like a mad man 😂
