I loved the idea of just going out, hanging out, and doing what you like. Bringing those photos and videos back may be just a bonus, but what a sweet bonus it is!
This video put me to sleep - in a good way! Very relaxing, beautiful photography and videography. I've gone out for drives with my camera - scouting for that perfect spot, finding the best angles, etc. Its a lot of fun and you have pictures that capture it forever.
thought this was a great episode, sometimes its not all about the cars but the drivers experience they have with the cars and the people that cars connect us with. I'd like to see more of these, great job.
Dear Drive. Entirely new show. So I gave it it's time to explain itself, full screen, 720p and all. And I must say.. Bravo!! Brave new idea, very clever and indeed something that remained mostly unseen 'till now! Something that's really own to the Drive network, a homegrown format if you will. Can't wait to see what new roads this will lead to, both figuratively ànd literally of course. (: And aside from all that; this was very relaxing to watch, yet never boring. So very good job indeed!!

I don't know what's with all the hate, this was a good episode. I'm not here to be wowed by cinematography or whatever other film babble some of you people worry too much about. Drive is about a passion for cars, something J.F. clearly has and I for one enjoyed him giving us a glimpse of that.

I think this has been my favourite drive video yet. (I may be slightly biased tho been new to photography and still having that child like excitement at seeing something ive taken come out really well when uploaded to the computer) Great shots aswell, really wanna get out this weekend with some friends and their cars and shot away :D
Oh wow I didn't even know about the Cayman test mules being caught by the Street View car. I've been on Mt Evans road in street view, and I've seen the Porsche's on there. But I always just assumed it was just an owners club outing or something. I even distinctly remember the cars being covered. That's amazing. Thanks for the insight, JF! By the way, the video was fantastic!
Absolutely kickass. I love when there's no real objective in an episode yet the story comes together nicely and the amazing views help too. I wasn't a big fan of JF's to be honest but this video brought about a change of heart. Keep up the great work!
This was awesome, I had watched this video a few times before but this time it really got to me and hit home. Great video. Being a photographer myself (mainly homes) I could not agree more with the begining. We do it because we love what we do. Watching that makes me wnat to pack my bag hop in my Suzuki Cappuccino and just hit the road and see where I end up.
I remember in 96 I came across a very strange looking Audi, it was an A3 doing some high altitude testing here in CO. This was years before it was released in the US. Some very interesting cars to be spotted if you are observant. Very nice shot lads, if you need another support vehicle and extra camera next time give me a shout.
Sweeet video, love the atmosphere, love the shots (btw would be cool to get some of them as wallpapers!), love the story somehow outside the box of the usual test drive.
If you ever find your way back here to Colorado in the summertime, visit the public road to the top of Pike's Peak. I'm pretty sure the whole thing is paved now.

I clicked this because I was expecting the Carrrera GT not some run of the mill 911 but I kept watching because you guys did a great job producing interesting and pretty content even though I wasn't particularly interested in the car.
