@@ProfessorSassypants i know lots regarding the history of this area having lived in motherwell most of my life and used to play in the house when it was uninhabited in the 80s and early 90s, it used to belong to the late Lord and Lady Hamilton and was left to the elements for many years. If it was this guys family why doesnt he live there when it was sold for £1 back in the 90s to be made into flats.
