@@BestElectricVehicle I would say that a city car needs a better range as people can't always access a public charger and as a city car, many people live in apartments which may not always have parking facilities, so range is important, people seem to think that we look at range for just one journey rather than the bigger picture, being able to charge on a regular basis, lack of infrastructure, in my case, I do around 70 miles daily to and from work, I bought my Smart ForTwo diesel 11 years ago due to the escalating fuel costs, my car has done close to 140000 miles, that's still classed as a city car, if the electric Smart had a better range I would consider one for my daily commuter as overall, I think that they are a brilliant little car
@@peterandresen3413 sadly, as a truck driver, I am never nearby to recharge the vehicle on a 45 minute lunch break, also there's a lack of chargepoints nearby, there's a lack of chargepoints near to work or home and where I live, I can't have a home chargepoint as I have a shared driveway which is also a public right of way (footpath)
Thanks for the comment Atholl. The range mightn't be enough for you, but is plenty for a lot of people that just need a car as a runabout. You'll have to get yourself something like a Long Range Model 3!
@@BestElectricVehicle sadly, many of us don't have the sort of money to buy an electric vehicle such as the long range model 3, I live in the centre of town, the Smart is ideal for parking as I can't always park near home as I have a shared driveway, my daily commute is around 70 miles, the lack of infrastructure is also a big put off, I respect that this is a small package, I've owned my diesel Smart ForTwo for 11 years, but what puts me off, and probably many other people too is the lack of range as well as the £23000 price tag
Amen, brother. I'd dearly love to have a ForTwo but the limited range and the price puts me off. I've toyed with the idea of buying a used model and installing a better battery, but where to find the battery and the people with the know-how to do it? I guess I'll keep my Captur.
Best Car in the City i love this Fortwo EQ😍
Nice history and quick review 🚗⚡️
Thanks for that feedback! Delighted you enjoyed it!
Nice colours Greys and black white 👍👍👍👍🇦🇺
Looking forward great 👍 car electric ⚡️ great 👍 like in Australia 🇦🇺
Did I hear you right, it’s got a Tesla battery?
I heard the same voices, dunno if it's true though
sweet car too bad they cant get at least 180 miles per charge
Do you think a city car likes that needs that kind of range? Smaller battery=cheaper and less weight to move around for more efficiency!

Would love one of these but I drive around 70 miles a day so have to stick with my old diesel model
Maybe some city cars? Someone says..."Twingo?"
maybe recharge it while at lunch break?
@@peterandresen3413 unfortunately, I'm a truck driver so my lunch breaks are spent at the side of the road somewhere in the country

I have given this a thumbs down as range is only 70 miles between charges - No Way would I pay for that not what roads I travel.
