Really COOL! Thanks for sharing!! I’ll bet it looks nice with all the foliage !! Was wondering if there are snakes you have to watch for during the summer months.?
If there's forest there's always the chance for snakes and not only snakes but bear, bobcats, fox een babid ones. Bees and all sorts of boring bitting insects, and be sure to use plenty of sunscreen.
Thank you, the visitor center is new and the shuttle bus is too.. some nights they have star gazing on the top parking lot. With a local astronomy club sets up telescopes for people to use,
@@toddventure we went in 2018. Got 3/4 of the way up with literally nothing but our shoes and jackets on. It got chilly so we left but we done just fine with no backpack, water or supplies. I live in WV and hike as often as possible so not much scares me. lol
Unfortunately this summer itself has been miserable everywhere. Nowadays they do encourage people to park at the museum at the bottom and take the shuttle up. The parking lot at the top isn't that big.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I live close by and plan to spend more time in this beautiful area.

Not only summer months but also when it warms up during winter days, where snakes though hibernating may come out to sun...

I’d like to take a metal detector out there, although lots of places BAN METAL DETECTING , especially on Historic areas
Not sure but I wouldn't think you'd have problems once you were on the trails.
