It was very refreshing to hear Michelle speak candidly about how living in a van really is to her. I am trying to get my husband to get a van to travel in. Now we have a class C Rv and we tow a Jeep. I want to be more nimble and be able to pull over whenever we see something of interest. We would be able to take shorter trips more often with a smaller rig. So fingers crossed that it will happen someday. The whole area around Franklin Tennessee is gorgeous. We were just in Tennessee and stopped at that very Buc Cee but I have to admit I was not as excited as Michelle. She was precious. But still NO PIE. Who else is starting to worry about Michelle?
Michelle was in rare form! Had me laughing the whole time. And yeah, something about Buccee's chaos that draws you in. :o).....about the Class B: I take more showers inside now since we've been disappointed so often in the lack of cleanliness at RV parks. We've yet to try a Truck Shower but your videos definitely have us intrigued. Thanks so much for sharin".
Excellent video guys. Buc-ee’s! Buc-ee’s! You almost jumped clear out of your seat Brian. That’s one for the highlight reels. Thanks for sharing, stay safe, stay well.
I was very interested to hear M's take on van life. An honest assessment. We have been full-time in our Super C for over 2 years. I know a van wouldn't work for us logistically. But, I also remember what you said when you fist left your class A, and expressed your anxiety over dealing with slides and other 'facts' of bigger RVs (parking, maneuvering, etc). For us, those are not drawbacks. So, again, an interesting look at why RVing is different things to different people. Enjoy. Be safe. God bless.
Hate smoke in the casino also. South of Franklin is the Jack Daniels distillery, great tour. Say hi to Dolly. Hope to stop at Buc-ees next week on the way to Texas. 😎🥸🤓
I have a Leisure Travel Van. I just couldn’t do the wet bath. It isn’t quite as nimble as your van as far as parking lots but easy to drive and not too hard to find parking. Thank you for another great video.
To conserve water in the shower, squeeze as much shampoo suds from your hair as possible and then put on conditioner. The conditioner helps cut the soap suds and you only have to rinse hair once.
My hat off to you both for been able to live and work in such a small area. Two weeks would be my maximum. The only benefit on a B for me is the gas and both can drive it. We haven't had issues finding camping spots for 37 ft motorhome with tow. We use TT, harvest host, national parks, state parks, county parks, city parks, COE, cabelas, cracker barrel, truck stops and private campgrounds. We are never that far from the places we want to visit. We have been to all 48 and most Canadian provinces. Our situation is different as we are retired. Only negative is the gas so we are spending our children's inheritance one gallon at the time. 😂
Love your videos Brian and Michelle; great content and editing. My husband and I own a Class B, yes the bathroom is small but it gets the job done. We vacation for 1 to 2 weeks at a time so I can forgo a long hot shower by doing a Navy shower in our van. My solution for washing my hair and saving water is to use a shampoo with conditioner combo, both in same bottle. Works well enough for my shoulder length hair. We also use a low sudsing body wash, Dr Bronners, to shower, wash hands and wash dishes. It rinses easily and I use less water, which is necessary if we boon dock or dry camp. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Great info, my wife and I are thinking of hitting the road for an extended period and the info you provide is very helpful. Thanks for the great content and explanation of your travel at each destination. Keep the videos coming.
I've watched you guys for a long time now and don't think I've ever posted a comment. Just wanted to say hello, tell you how much I enjoy your entertaining videos and say thank you for sharing your journey. From me on a little Scottish island! Stay safe and happy! :)
You too just crack me up😂. We love Bucee’s and I’m the planner and love Trip Wizard. In fact, I was on it as I watched this video😁. I also have my Notes up because you have so many great places that you visit that we may want to check out when in that area. Thanks for great videos😁✌🏼🙏🏼
I am glad that you are embracing the van life Michelle but I bet it was a huge adjustment. We travelled full time in a class C for 3 years and I found it too confining. Now we have a home base and plan to do 6 months in each. Best of both worlds! Stay safe, happy and keep the videos coming. ❤
It was an adjustment for sure, just like it was a huge adjustment going from our house to the 40’ Class A and then the 33’ Airstream. But the more we traveled the more we started to realize the things that meant most to us to make “our” lives easier. We are all different and that’s one thing that we notice, is that there are some that tend to forget that we live differently than most others. Also, a persons height/size makes a big difference also and each of us have a different tolerance level. With us traveling so much, the 24’ extended van gives us as much room as possible without losing too much ability for parking, there has been more advantages “for us” than disadvantages. You can take any RV and talk about all the negatives and wonder how people can travel and live in them compared to something else, but at the end of the day, what matters is what benefits each of us, not what benefits someone else. That’s why we never tell anyone what we think would be best for them. Regardless of what you buy, you’re going to be curious if something else would fit your traveling lifestyle better. 🤓
@@LivinRVision totally agree! We enjoy our class C but often explain to people the advantages and disadvantages so that they can determine what’s right for them. You guys are awesome, keep up the great work!
This was a very informative video as always, and I enjoy them very much. Im always calm and relaxed after viewing them.I am starting van life soon once I decide on which unit to buy, and there's so many I also going to make videos on the road as I travel across the country but first I have to learn how to do that lol . Thank you for what you guys are doing, and I'm sure you're well aware of this, but you're both very blessed to have each other, and to do what you're doing. I wish you both much health, happiness and safe travels. Sincerely: Gregg Savage.
Great video! We enjoyed more candid comments about van life, with humor thrown in for good measure! Including “ret’ to go”, the closing song and the Asheville sign on I-40 made our day! We live about 80 miles south! Thanks for sharing!
Hey y'all!! Michelle, I am so proud of you. Living in a van was not something you really were crazy about, and look at you now. So happy that it worked out. Lance does all our road scheduling, too. There are so many wives that do it trip planning. Thanks for making me feel not alone about the scheduling. 😁 Hope y'all are well. Take care.
This is a fantastic (vantastic 😁) video! I loved hearing Michelle's thoughts. I also have the same reaction to Buc - ee's! I love the beaver nuggets, they are super sweet. I'm glad you got to see your friends.
Love your weekly shows. When stepping out of the shower and assume you are using some kind of shower shoes. You still need to dry the feet prior. We use the disposal doggie pads take your wet shoes off and enjoy a warm dry and clean bath mat. When done simply toss in trash
Another great idea! We bring a couple paper towels in the shower with us and if the shower facilities doesn’t have them, we bring them ourselves. We just dry one foot at a time and reach down to dry our shower sandals one at a time before putting our feet back in so that we don’t step on the shower floor. Same thing as you mentioned, just toss in the trash and very cheap. May be a different story if we start losing our balance as we age. 😂
Yep, they work great for the showers or pets. That's lwhy I sell them on Ebay, campers love them. And they are great incontinence pads or set a pet on top of one instead of an your clean blankets.
Was wondering if you would stop in Mansfield to see Laura Ingalls Wilder's old homestead - if you haven't seen it yet you should next time going through Missouri. Very neat place! Safe travels to you two!
In July of next year, they are having a 50th year reunion in Walnut Grove Minnesota and a lot of the actors will be there. You can visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and meet all the actresses/actors…including Nellie! I have it on my calendar to call for reservations the day it opens!

Love your videos! The music you choose is so easy to listen to! Agree about the smoke in Casinos, whenever we stay in a casino campground we rarely go in the casino because the smell is terrible! Even the smoke free areas are bad.
Another great video Brian. LOL, Buc-ee's!! We stopped at the first one we saw earlier this year but haven't stopped since then. They tend to be so crowded but we will probably stop at one next time around.
Saw you guys on the Caribbean Princess this past week. I wanted to say hi but did not want to intrude on your vacation. Love your content hope you're dropping some videos on the cruise, love to see what you think on the cruise.
You should have stopped to say hello, we would have loved to meet you guys. There were two other couples that stopped us to chat also. We love meeting everyone, that’s how we have ended up meeting some very good friends. 😊🤓
It was great meeting you too! Met another couple on the same cruise that also follow our channel. Wish we could have all got together. Hopefully another time! 🧡😊🤓

While we love your videos, my wife isn't thrilled as I go from your video to the Leisure Travel Van site, would love a unity rear lounge! While I don't think it is, it looks bigger than yours with its seperate work and play areas. But damn like everything they are expensive. Keep up the good work!
Thanks , Michelle, for your opinion about vanlife. I have wondered about it. Our Class C is 26'4" and we wonder/talk about benefits vs smaller space of a B. Do you think y'all will go back to a larger size when your agreement with Grech is over or will you stay with a B? Thanks! You have a nice screen presence and it's nice to have a convo with you (Brian is funny and we love him, too), sometimes it's nice to just hear from you.❤🙏 Jane in SC
We are still unsure of our plans. We kinda hate to go back to something bigger just because of all the benefits. Nothing is perfect but you have to choose what benefits you the most.
That is a fantastic back up job Brian. Like a glove! Apparently Michelle sort of likes Buckees 😂😂😂. Sorry Brian, but your heart rate increased to workout level. 😂😂
👍 I agree . Nothing worse than stale cigarette smoke in your clothes and HAIR! 😮. My son works in Franklin! ❤. We eat at the Frothy Monkey 🙊 every time we visit him! Such a quaint little town! We will be there at Christmas 🎄 again this year. Can’t wait 😊❤.
You two are hilarious lol 😂 I love Franklin Tenn. so much! BTW I bought the chocolate Orgain protein powder and make it how you said and it is the best I’ve ever had! Thank you so much for sharing it Brian! ❤❤
Alright -- Michelle FINALLY got to drive!👍🏽... was worth watchin' 'til the end ... my wife was never comfortable driving (1st RV experience was drivin' a Class A to Disney World w/ kids, she got 'behind the wheel' all of 30-45 minutes, insisted I take over [while she 'AMPed-down'] & I drove the other 12+ hours) 😂 so she's still reluctant about a 170 Ext, but is 'Ret-Ta-Go!' for sure now drivin' the smaller 170 Std (THX Michelle) ... & ...'who knows'... where we'll go after a 7-9 hour day hosting clients inside 🤔 (most likely the nearest hotel w/ a HOT spa & KS bed) 😅 😂 🤣
Brian, that breakfast was not your usual low carb, but dang those grits looked good! And I hate smoke too, I would have had to leave. I can’t tolerate it. 🤢
Yeah you guys are 'hitting it outta the park' w/ entertaining, solid, BANGIN' content -- keep it comin'! 💯 (Note: see additional comment on "How We Got Starlink Internet" -- may be a great future opportunity we can discuss after gettin' a 2'25 Terreno-Ion Tour [on 2'24 170 Std M-B chassis] after the New Year). 🎉👍🏽👊🏽 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Oh man, I love the Buc-ees intro!! LOL. Put buc-ees in your phone maps and see what it says… she says it just like Michelle, well not exactly, but close 😂😂. When did you go through Tennessee?? I forgot to ask…. Did you decorate with the bat and ghost at Halloween?!? 😂😂 safe travels!
I had a good laugh today watching the episode, was going to ask I noticed Michelle does seem to drive much, and then she took the wheel. That being said was is the split of driving for you guys?
I usually don’t like to drive if I know we are going through any busy areas but I also don’t like to drive as much as Brian does. He usually asks me if I want to, but I usually don’t. It is very nice and easy to drive though.
How many cameras do you use besides a drone? The quality is very good. It makes everything look beautiful. What types of camera do you use, and are any hooked onto the outside with magnets?
We haven’t watched other RV channels since we started full-time. Any tv time we get when we finally have time we choose to watch a series or movie…then we end up staying up too late. 😂
Fantastic program as always. Really nice to hear a little feminine perspective about van life. Quick question, recent newspaper article claimed Tennessee roads were really high on the list for potholes , That’s not been my experience but we are mainly in East Tennessee, would be curious to know if you found the roads to be bad. Thank you.
I'm glad Michelle has been able to adapt and enjoy. We have a 28 twin Airstream, fits my "not too close" meter and bathroom needs. But I'm older and easily irritated now. Grumpy old gal. Enjoy it while you can!
Looking at getting a Strada ION for retirement travel, will keep our home and maybe go out once a month for a few weeks at a time, at first. Have watched several of your videos … quite informative and entertaining. Have heard you mention casinos as an overnight option …is it like Cracker Barrel … free as long as you patronize? What is there to patronize beside gambling? Breakfast? Never been to a casino.
Ironic that you ask, we spent the night at a casino last night. None of these places make you buy anything, it’s just a honor system. Some casinos don’t allow overnights, some require checking in with security and some have an rv campground and some you just pull in to a specific area. We always call ahead to check the requirements. The reason we like casinos is because we like to just go in and check out the architecture and sometimes just play $5, 10 or 20 and many times end up walking out ahead. We are not big gamblers. Another thing is the entertainment at many of these casinos. We walked into a casino once and immediately was handed free tickets to a Jordan Davis concert. We went and ate at their buffet and went directly to the concert and was able to get right up at the stage. It was an amazing experience that you’ll never find at a Cracker Barrel. 😂 The one thing we do not like, is the casinos that are very smoky. We will walk right back out if it’s smoky. We’re so glad you are enjoying the videos. The Strada-ion makes travel so nice, especially for someone that is part time.
Appreciate that info. Just as an aside … did I hear you say first two Grech’s you drove were white? One of them looked silver to us. We’re trying to decide on color. Have only seen the BlueGray in person.
My wife and I have a Winnebago Travato and are drooling over the Grech Strada Tour RV. maybe in a couple of years, but I have a couple questions. Diesels require the Blue DEF and I am wondering how often or how much it uses? Also what is the MPG like? Ours gets about 15MPG. I really love the quality of the Grech RV.
The blue is added somewhere around 3,000 miles or so, it varies but not very often. We fill ours once it gets down to the half way warning. We have talked a few times about the mpg throughout a few videos, it gets around 20mpg at 70mph & 21mpg at 65. This new 4cyl and 9 speed transmission made a huge difference.
Always a great video and you guys always make my heart smile. I have to ask… with van life don’t you travel way more on the road then in a TT? Can you actual do a van life and stay longer at your destinations?
Hi friends😊 I was wondering, where do y’all store your groceries and how often do you have to go to the grocery store? I’m so curious because at home you have a pantry where you can keep stuff for a while. I’m going to guess that you plan a grocery list for like two weeks?
We go to the store a couple times a week usually to at least get more bottled water. We keep quite a bit in our fridge and cabinets though. We had shared some of this in a past video when showing where we put everything.
Absolutely true! My husband gets instant asthma from cigarette smoke. The crazy thing is someone smoking can be many feet away outside and if he gets a whiff, asthma!
Your videos are so entertaining, thank you for sharing! 😂 When you do cook, what do you cook. I know I’d worry about my clothes getting smelly from cooking food! Do you BBQ outside? And my second question is, I’ve been nervous about the 24ft, and leaned towards a 22 foot class B. Now that you’re in a 24 ft, do you think you can do a 22 ft?
We usually cook small meals that don’t require a lot of pans or work, lol. We’ve cook pasta, steaks, pork chops, salmon, eggs, pancakes and more. We utilize the microwave a lot also. We don’t have a grill with us but we have a portable induction cooktop that we can plug in outside if we want to cook something pretty smelly like bacon. We could probably do a smaller van if we didn’t live in it full time because we would lose the extra space for storage and have a smaller refrigerator.
Just love your videos. Look forward to them every Saturday. Stay safe out there.

We have been to some that are smoke free, those are definitely the best.
Ha! Buccee Buccee. You two are a fun couple.
Another great video Brian. LOL, Buc-ee's!! We stopped at the first one we saw earlier this year but haven't stopped since then. They tend to be so crowded but we will probably stop at one next time around.
Another awesome video! 👍🫶🫶👍Thanks for sharing all your adventures! 🙏🙏🤗🤗
We were at Costco yesterday! Be safe!
We feel the same way about Buc'ees! Safe travels and see you in Florida! ❤❤
BUCK-EEE'S!!!
I laughed so hard!!
Right? I lost it on that one!!!😂
@@LivinRVision next time I will. Enjoy your next adventure.
Hey! Great meeting you on the Princess Caribbean! Hope you had a great time!
It was great meeting you too! Met another couple on the same cruise that also follow our channel. Wish we could have all got together. Hopefully another time! 🧡😊🤓
@@LivinRVisionif you’re ever in the Houston area, let us know! We are home now, trying to catch up on rest and then going out again on the Caribbean Princess with family! Take care!
We’d love to! Send us an email so we have a way to get in touch. Enjoy your trip with family!
Oh my gosh!! You guys drove right by my house!! I live about 45 minutes north of Memphis! How cool!!
❤❤
Another fun video! Thanks.
That is a fantastic back up job Brian. Like a glove! Apparently Michelle sort of likes Buckees 😂😂😂. Sorry Brian, but your heart rate increased to workout level. 😂😂
👍🏻😂
So glad you like it! 😊
I love you two!!
Excellent! New Subscriber and my first like 😊
Welcome! 🧡😊🤓
I have used trip wizard for three years. I did not know you can hold and move them.
I wish I had known how to movie around in trip wizard. I could never find a way to do that. Thanks
Cigarette smoke is nasty, in my neighborhood it's stink weed from the pothead smells like skunks. Anyway loved your video tree colors were so pretty.
Did you notice the wage scales and bennies on that bucees sign? Wow! Not bad
Yee Haw...You guys are a hoot!!!😂😂😂
The foliage was pretty
I enjoyed that!
Made to my neck of the woods 😊
Brian, that breakfast was not your usual low carb, but dang those grits looked good! And I hate smoke too, I would have had to leave. I can’t tolerate it. 🤢
😂 an ad for grass fed butter came on right after your breakfast!
😂 that’s too funny! They are strategic aren’t they? lol
Y’all are hilarious 😂 😂
Yeah you guys are 'hitting it outta the park' w/ entertaining, solid, BANGIN' content -- keep it comin'! 💯 (Note: see additional comment on "How We Got Starlink Internet" -- may be a great future opportunity we can discuss after gettin' a 2'25 Terreno-Ion Tour [on 2'24 170 Std M-B chassis] after the New Year). 🎉👍🏽👊🏽 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Love me some Buc-ees …
Oh man, I love the Buc-ees intro!! LOL. Put buc-ees in your phone maps and see what it says… she says it just like Michelle, well not exactly, but close 😂😂. When did you go through Tennessee?? I forgot to ask…. Did you decorate with the bat and ghost at Halloween?!? 😂😂 safe travels!
About 3 weeks ago. We did and then the grandkids liked them so we let them put them on their door handle of their bedrooms. :)
I was in Tennessee then too, I was at pigeon forge/gatlinburg area. I’m so glad your grandkids like them 😁 I’m still crocheting away 😂😂 safe travels 😁
What?! So sorry we missed you!
Sorry I missed you too! 😢
Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's!
Was it the largest one they built recently in Sevierville, Tennessee?
If so... there ya go!
👍🏻🤓
How many cameras do you use besides a drone? The quality is very good. It makes everything look beautiful. What types of camera do you use, and are any hooked onto the outside with magnets?
GoPro and iPhone mostly. Low light is a Sony camera. No magnets for GoPro, use a stick.
@@LivinRVision~. Oh....
@@LivinRVision~ Do you hold the camera out the window sometimes?
Yes 😁
I bought box DEF at Costco before, but after seeing the price at the pumps, never again
We try to use the Blue brand. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Hard to say how good that is at various places.
You need to Visit Southern Utah. And see our Beautiful National Parks .🍁
It’s on our list. We did see Zion a few years back and did a video then. 👍🏻😊🤓
Good thing you stopped at Buckees!! My husband and I are curious who your favorite RV UA-camrs to watch are. Just curious 😊
Thank you.
We did not experience that where we drove.
I'm glad Michelle has been able to adapt and enjoy. We have a 28 twin Airstream, fits my "not too close" meter and bathroom needs. But I'm older and easily irritated now. Grumpy old gal. Enjoy it while you can!
Michelle seems kind of down lately. Is everything OK? Enjoy your videos so much.
What you may be seeing is TIRED. 😂 We both are worn out quite often when we are rushing so much in between our long work days. 🤓
Have you two looked at the Mercedes Unity or Ford Wonder liesure Travel Vans?
We’ve seen them 👍🏻
Looking at getting a Strada ION for retirement travel, will keep our home and maybe go out once a month for a few weeks at a time, at first.
The one thing we do not like, is the casinos that are very smoky.
@bakasnuggs7352 one silver, 2 white and now the blue/gray.
Nice video
It sure makes it easier to travel often. The time we stay at a campground is the same.
We had shared some of this in a past video when showing where we put everything.
cig smoke smell is aweful.....if only smokers realized how aweful it ius. makes me sick to my stomache
You two crack me up😂
😢
I have the same reaction to Bud-cees 😂
Brian and Michelle. Can you go anywhere reputable to have the van repaired if needed?
Grech is a good place to start to ask for a good recommendation.
Y'all drove right by home when merged onto 65 N from McEwen. 😢
Now you really do “live in a van right by the river “
😂 👍🏻
