Me and my friends found one of their spawning bases and we were catching them throwing and killing them (they become paralyzed if u grab 2 of their legs)
Iam the head of a committee at my community garden in Brooklyn,NY at Floyd Bennett Field. The WAR ON LANTERN FLIES.We are INFESTED with them. But we are fighting back.

My city , out of know where had a cluster of termites, looking bugs released in my city, the had to spray chemicals, to killed those clustered of bugs, those clustered of bugs was all over my truck. The powers to be know, what they’re doing. Operation depopulation. Most high helps us all
The spiders in my balcony are doing a great job of killing the lanternflies. I have already seen many baby lanternflies dead.
They have hit the Bronx, too. We are all DOOMED.

@@gmgamemaster I rather piss on them actually put these in my hand. The heat from the urine kills them quickly. I've done it.
Calm yourself
@@alexlifeson8946I can't. In NY it's too late. We have a Mayor that's garbage and doesn't GAF.
Why? Because a slightly harmful bug came to the country because of human activity?
Spray pesticides so it can get in the water and we can drink it 😂
Ikr
I just saw some today in the Bronx
Start squashing, LOL.
I live in the Bronx there’s hundreds of them on the bricks outside my building
There’s a bunch in the bronx now

I’m in Jersey and I’m looking at one right now smh
Just add more spiders to the environment!!! Where are the spiders ?
Lol not them making a comeback. I haven't seen them since like last summer of 2022 in the Bronx.

I live in Rockland county just over the border. They are everywhere. This is going to require a federal strategy.
Oh great. They're gonna give grants out to spray pesticide everywhere for a bug that doesn't hurt anyone. But ticks and kissing bugs are ok🙄👌
The hell we already had rat issues... now flying pest...
One time I took a jar of wasps against a treee of lantern flies I let the wasps out and they went crazy on those flies
In New York also now

My cats eat them everyday. Spray them with dish soap and water and they die.
I have a solution
We are definitely in the last day
For sure, look at everything going on in the world right now.
Bring back stronger pesticides
They're too pretty to kill
Okay
lol! I saw the small red ones today. They are pretty. Hated to kill them.
They’re also not nearly as harmful as everyone makes them out to he.

Nature will take over. Human intervention is not needed. Lantern flies are barely doing any damage, and even normal people should know that by now.
I pissed a little on the toilet seat. Don't know if I did it on purpose or not yet
Keep us posted
