Jays and Kays now makes lug adapters for the F91 converting it to 20mm lugs. Strap choices off the charts.
Looks cool, too. Tight, smooth interface wit the case.

I've used some of their adapters for custom builds and you're right! they're great. Personally, I think the taper of the thinner strap fits the f91w better, but I can definitely see the appeal of being able to have such a wide variety of options in 20mm vs 18mm. Thanks for engaging here! :)

@@retrominwatches7349 Yes. You lose the taper, for sure. Mine's on a black 20mm Nato at the moment, and it does kinda' get lost in the band... band is almost as wide as the case. I got in touch with them about an 18mm one. They said they're only doing it in the 20 right now.

@@jmr5707 Oh! Interesting.! Hopefully they'll release some 18mm in the long term.

There are so many ways to approach this swap. I'd like to make another video where I do this with household tools, as opposed to watch maintenance tools. Thoughts?

I agree that it can be done, but this may require further watch modification, such as shaving away some of the material in the watch head between the lugs. The reason for this is that the spring bars are thicker than the pins, and the pins are already a tight fit. I will also say that it depends on what kind of band/bracelet you plan on using. If it is thinner and fits the spring bar, it might work just fine. Please let us know how it goes if you do decide to try it!
