I am thinking to get this model , I can see there is GPS connection , What is for if there is no navigation in the menu ? Or is it to track the car ?
@@mouradnemer GPS is not for Navi. It's for recording GPS positioning and embedding it in your footage with a watermark. So, if something happens (like an accident), you will have proof of your location.

This camera is great. Enjoyed the video. I have the blind spot feature working but not the ADAS driver assist. I do not get the warnings about front car alarms.
Make sure to turn it on, and also turn on the voice commands. Watch the video again because each feature can be independently adjusted or turned off/on.

Im a new driver so ill defenitely be using the blind spot assist. I wonder if you can go into the system files and customize the audio warnings that play when someone is in your blind spot. I may give it a try.
Yes, you can turn off the audible warnings, and just use Visual. Also you can adjust the sensitivity. And it works regardless of weather because it's digital, unlike most Blind Spot Assist that stop working when sensors inside the bumpers get wet.
Adjust your mirrors properly and you will never have any blind spots and won't need a crutch to rely on.

Isn’t your blind spot actually on the side rear of your vehicle rather than behind your vehicle? I’ve got an extended cargo van which has zero visibility on the passenger side. It would be nice if this thing could see vehicles in the lane beside you. Maybe this have the option of adding cameras to your side mirrors?
Blind zone is in the lanes on the side, not behind. But you can move the area of the blind spot to fit your needs, as I've shown in this video.
Im having the hardest time setting my BSD. Other than that love this camera. Great video!
Try to find a street with clearly marked lanes, where there's not much traffic, and take your time to set it up. And you can correct it anytime.

You can, but all the lanes will jump and move, so it won't be easy. It's better to do it while you're parked on the street with clearly marked lanes. If you need a slight adjustment, park again and adjust very slightly.

Hey MBZ master. I just got one of these as a gift, but know nothing about it. I'm curious to know more about how the dashcam element of it works. I was reading the notelet that came with it, and it said it's recording 60 seconds, which it then continuously overwrites in 60 seconds. But, like, how does it know when to save one of the 60 second clips? Do I have to manually hit save? If so, then in the event of a major car accident and I am unable to manually save, would it just overwrite the accident?
It records continuously, but instead of 1 big file, it breaks down into smaller 1 min clips. When your memory card gets full, it will start overwriting the oldest files from the beginning. So, my advice is to get a large capacity SD card, so it takes weeks or months before files are overwritten. There is no reason to keep all those video files if nothing happened, just let them be erased over time. However, if something happens and you want to preserve the video, there is a feature to LOCK the recordings, so it doesn't get erased no matter what. Then, when you have time, remove the memory card and transfer the footage to your computer, and then reinsert the memory card back into the dashcam. The whole point of getting this smart mirror is to use it as a full time rear view mirror, It can be also dimmed as I showed in the video. But if you plan to turn the display off, then you may consider a different dashcam system, which is not mirror-mounted. Yes, but will less expensive to install at any independent mechanic shop, or car stereo store.

Many companies don't want Wi-Fi connectivity or smartphone app on their products. First, Wi-Fi with all your info and footage can be hacked while it's connected via Wi-Fi. Second, when you create an account on the phone app, some of your personal credentials are visible to others, especially for products built outside the U.S. So you have to deal with the security issues that may be costly and unnecessary. This products avoids it, thus saving you money. You can transfer the footage to your computer by removing the mini USD card and inserting into your computer or by connecting it via a USB cable directly to your smartphone or home computer.

Both cameras record simultaneously, regardless of what's displayed on your screen. But the whole point of the rearview mirror is to see what's behind you while you drive, anyway you can see what's ahead of you. Try to play with it and see how it works, trying different scenarios. Does this have nightvision to see wildlife while driving?
Pelsee has a few models, but I don't remember it having the infrared capabilities to shoot in complete darkness (if that's what you mean). However, you can't drive in a complete darkness anyway, at least you have the headlights. So, it will record if there is some kind of light at night. You can also improve the footage with any post editing.
I installed p12 pro. But when a car comes to overtake on the right side, the mirror cam display shows the left side on the p12. Why?
What is the use of gps?
Because your mirror displays as camera recordings. You need to flip the image in the settings to display as a mirror by flipping the image horizontally. GPS coordinates are recorded on your footage, so in case of an accident, you will have proof of your exact location during that accident.
I downloaded the dashcam videos to my laptop but how do you send the videos on laptop to your phone? Or how would you email the dashcam video from your laptop?
You can connect your phone via a USB cable to your laptop and transfer video files. Video files are very large, so email is not a good idea. You can upload your files to any cloud-based server, like Google Photos, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, etc., and then open it on your cell phone or anywhere else to view. You could even upload them to UA-cam and set them Private, if you don't want anyone to see them.

Yes, there are so many blind drivers, or it seems like it! But really, they are important aspects.
Many times, the original Blind Spot Assist in a vehicle stops working in a bad weather because the sensors inside the bumpers get wet. But this blind assist is digital, so it doesn't depend on sensors and always works.
Simply adjust your mirrors properly and you won't have any blind spots and won't need a crutch that may or may not be calibrated.

How does the rear view look at night?
Looks good, but it takes a bit time to get used to it. Also, you can adjust the brightness by swiping the screen, as I showed in the video.
Hello, I have the 12" Mirror strapped to my existing mirror and it's to heavy. After driving for a few minutes, I noticed my mirror can not support the weight of the smart mirror. Is there any aftermarket braces or brackets that could l help??
It looks like your original mirror is not attached properly to the glass, and it gets loose. The Smart mirror is very thin and light, so it shouldn't add too much weight, unless the original mirror is poorly attached to begin with. Depending on the car, use something strong to attach the original mirror, like gorilla double tape or super glue or something. Consult with your local mechanic shop to give you the suggestion because it's hard to say without taking a look.
@@MBZMaster Thx, but it's not the attachment to the glass that's the problem, it's the mirror itself. The adjustment ball in the back of it. Just wondering if they sold any aftermarket brackets. Have a good one.
@@MrShon-40 I see. So, maybe the rotating ball needs to be tightened up. It's hard to say without looking at it.
Is there any way to correct the voice assistant's English phrases and accent?
One phrase that took me a while to understand was "Front Car," meaning I was too close to a car in front of me. I don't think you can correct it, but there are only 5 - 6 phrases in total, so once you hear them a few times, it will be easy to recognize. Also, you can ask Pelsee tech support directly by email or their Facebook page.

Hello. I have a MB CLS 550 and my auxiliary battery malfunction error message stays on my dash. I had the battery checked to have it changed but it has a full 12v so my husband put the same battery back in. How do we make the error message go away? How do I reset that error message?
Aux battery is not your main battery. It's a separate, more like a capacitor. It may need to be replaced.

Probably yes, but consult and test with any shop specializing specifically with Mercedes.

You skipped over the part that everybody cares about which is does it have motion detection if it's plugged into a hardwire and somebody's walking around the car do the camera start to record it's really the only thing people care about these days
The problem with the motion detector is that if you park on the busy street with lots of motions, your detector will constantly work, draining your battery. G sensor wakes your dashcam only, when something really happened, when sone hit your car or opened the door. Personally, I care more about the smart rearview mirror than the parking mode. But I may test it in the future.
@@MBZMaster I don't park on a busy street. If you're hardwired properly your battery will never get drained because of the cutoff. Anyways..
Regardless of how you wire it, all these sensors drain the battery when your car is off and parked. It depends on how many times it has to wake up. Anyway, I plan to test some perking modes, so stay tuned.
