How to Make a DIY External Footswitch for Fractal FM3 / FM9 / Axe-Fx III

In this video I make a DIY external footswitch that will work with Fractal devices including the FM3, FM9, and Axe-Fx III. This footswitch has all the same capabilities as any of the on device footswitches (minus the display). I also show you how to set it up in the Fractal so it works as a stand in switch or per preset footswitch.

I have a problem using an overdrive pedal. It's new, and has a noise gate. But I always get a buzzing when sending a signal through it. But, I have played it in a few places where there is absolutely no noise. I've checked all my cables, ect. I enjoy this videos over the years. Best regards 👍.

Can you make a triple switch for source audio pedals? i.e Collider
The goal being
1 - Preset up
2 - Preset down
3 - Tap Tempo

there´s no Tip/Ring option in the FM9 menu...

I noticed the same thing. It appears that the FM3 beats the FM9 in this regard.

This product does not work on the FM9. The FM9 can only have 1switch per TRS
