@@chief9-10-games5 After the car is started it runs off the alternator which supplies about 14.4 volts of power. So yes, we all run our systems on 14.4 volts unless you are banging your system with the vehicle turned off.
It seems to preform more efficient at higher resistance which is a little weird to me unless they were just pulling rms numbers from thin air when they rated this. Idk, I bought a brutus 3000w from Amazon to power 2 kicker 10" L7's. Better believe ill be sending it back if it cant rattle some windows at my local 7-11😆
I’ve used multiple hifonics amps. Running a hifonics 2500w Gemini amp for 3 years on 2 kicker comp R 15s pushing 1600 rms. Hifonics is one of the best on the market. I’ve owned several. Love my Gemini. They are slightly under rated be careful
Lmao no, they're not under rated, not even close. They're over rated by leaps and bounds. How did you come to the conclusion that it's outputting 1600w? A multimeter? (That's inaccurate by the way.)
Sadly I had this amp for a month and it died it was decent but after it stopped working I swapped it out with a Skar RP 1200 and it was a big improvement powerwise ......Skars put out what they say. So after comparing this amp to the Skar RP1200 ( which puts out true 1200W ) I would guess the Brutus gamma 1300 puts out around 800 max because the Skar 1200 was a good step up.
theyre amps are not even good, both of my BRUTUS amps stopped working randomly and the fuses were fine theyre just crap quality and im showing it. ive had mine both installed and checked by alpine retailers and installers, everyone in the shops says the same thing about these amps.....they SUCK their older amps are the good ones
Are these good amps? It's clipping on the 4 Ohm test, 2 Ohm test is > 1% distortion. And, how is it CTA compliant/ rated if it does 100 w RMS under it's rated power of 650w?
i have gone through 2 of these horrible amps, the first was this one the second was the 3300 (trying to compensate for more powerful subs) they both burned out on me and were defective. only the older amps from these guys are good ( the black aluminum ones) the BRUTUS class amps are durable and great at first but dont last long at all! im extremely displeased with mine!
the amp will work for those....for about 2 weeks....i have the stronger version of this amp the 3300 because the older one stopped working....here i am 2 weeks again after installing it and having the same issue...these amps fucking suck and theyre not the same they used to be back in the day, dont waste your money get something better and worth it!

@@gabec6522 every test on Harmony thus far has been extremely good. Hifonics don't produce rated power, have extremely low efficiency for class D topography, and produce an asinine amount of heat.

they put out decent power if you run high end cable and a bit bigger than you need, they dont quite run rated power in my experience, but man 3 k for like 300 bucks cant beat it. JL wants like 600$ for a 1000w.

These have to be the least efficient amps on the market. 120a of fusing at 12.6v is 1512w, normal class D efficiency would put output at 1058w RMS. That’s a 70% efficiency. Now at 1 ohm you got 725w of output, that means that amp has a 47% efficiency. If that’s the case, these are absolute garbage.
they are good power for money.. but they never run rated power, i had a 2k zues with big expensive cables, good alt and vehicle running and clamped at like 460w rms

I bet it will burn. There amps be burning. So far the best of their line is the comp series i own a orion and a hifonics be35 4000.1D and that mf is a monster its pushing 4 15d american bass 1200 rms each sub. And amp dont get hot at all

These AMPs do not give their TRUE POWER. 1300RMS. More like 752RMS.

you should have opened up the amp and see if both fuses are actually connected to the board not just one. they had done it before with their zeus amps

That 1 ohm didnt seem right even with the voltage drop. The output fell off way to much from 2 ohm to 1 ohm.

ive had 4 of these amps, i ran a 2k zues on .7 ohms for 7 years and still ran, so what the heck are you doin to yours? lol

I had the 2500 Brutus and burned it up and turned around and got the 3200 zeus amp and it's cheaper and it's way better
