- Bob Jackson was a photographer with the Dallas Times Herald and followed President John F. Kennedy's motorcade from Love Field through downtown Dallas on November 22, 1963. He was a few cars behind President Kennedy's limousine as it passed through Dealey Plaza and was one of only a handful of eyewitnesses to see a rifle protruding from a sixth-floor window of the former Texas School Book Depository. This video includes audio from Jackson's oral history interview in which he describes what he saw from the presidential motorcade that day. It was produced as part of a 2009 exhibit at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza featuring his photography, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning photo of Lee Harvey Oswald being shot by Jack Ruby.

I love how you're forgetting that kennedy was also shot through his neck in a downward projection, not to mention the first shot completely missing and hitting a person in line of fire from the depository - regardless of where the 3rd shot came from, there was a shooter from depository - this is not misinformation

Because the government doctored the video so you can't see the real shooter. You would also see a tree just floating in air. The driver shot Kennedy.

So he saw a rifle, but didn't think to take a photo of it? Another thing I noticed is at 1:06 there is a secret service agent holding onto the back of the limousine, but then a few seconds later he gets off or is told to. Does anyone know why he would leave at that specific time? Would it not have made more sense to stay on for another minute until they reached the underpass?

Geniuses, pay attention. The several photogs in the car had just given their film over to a courier as they turned the corner, to be rushed BACK to the paper for printing IN the paper ... Bert Shipp goes over this in an interview.
This is all happening in mere seconds, with a lot of confusion too (he says he wasn’t even sure what the sound was at first). Everyone’s an expert when they know all the facts in hindsight. Being in the moment at such an event I’m sure is completely different. Plus, it’s 1963! The camera wouldn’t be able to get much detail at that distance. Also, SAFETY! Ahhh, gunshots are being fired. Let’s TAKE PICTURES OF RIFLES IN WINDOWS. Or, let’s duck for safety or figure out what the heck is even happening.
@dj71162 Thomas Dillard was sitting by him in the car, after Jackson yelled at them to look up at the rifle, the others saw it being pulled in too. Then Thomas Dillard took some photos, you can search for them.
Yes they were told last minute to get off the back of the car. I seen a documentary years back of those actual agents talking about it. They thought it was very odd they got asked off.

Bob forgot to mention here that the rifle he saw had a foot long barrel, and not the tiny 4.5 inch barrel on the Mannlicher-Carcano.
Malcolm Couch described it as being the same length, as did Amos Euins, who told the Commission he saw "14-15 inches of pipe".
Three people who saw a rifle barrel that didn't come close to the so-called "Oswald rifle".
This was crucial evidence that was IGNORED.
How do you reconcile Euins' testimony with the rest of the evidence in the case?

@@marcelkuijper8240 If he testified that he saw "14-15 inches of pipe," that is inconsistent with the fact that a Mannlicher-Carcano was found on the 6th floor, and that the bullets and fragments were all matched to the Mannlicher-Carcano found on the 6th floor. If they can't both be correct, how do you decide what evidence is more reliable?
@@9Ballr Allow me to lean on Schrödinger's Cat a little: Why can't both be true? If one of the tasks of that day was to kill JFK, and the other was to set up Oswald, a rifle similar to his was necessary to use, and leave behind. Bullets fired from that rifle struck Kennedy, but Connally was not hit by the same bullet and a missed bullet was dug up from the median that was kept out of evidence. These two bullets came from a different rifle, from inside the TSBD. This is the rifle with the long barrel. This is the rifle Rowland saw, and the barrel Euins, Jackson and Couch saw. And I believe this rifle was owned by Warren Caster, which he collected from the TSBD the day after the assassination.
@@marcelkuijper8240 Well, of course you can tell an implausible story with no hard evidence to back it up to try and make the testimony consistent with the actual evidence in the case. The bullet that hit Connally was matched to Oswald's rifle, and no other rifle was found in the TSBD, and no shooters were found in the TSBD besides Oswald. What hard evidence is there that there was a second rifle used in the assassination, and that this rifle was the rifle owned by Warren Caster?
The secret service were told to stand down as proven by the protocol to close all windows along the route and as with many government cover ups you either get one or no video so where are the rest?

Most professional news cameras at that time were entirely black and white- 16mm and 2 inch tape. 8mm home movies with amateur cameras were color film. Color film was available in the 50s.

If Oswald did assassinate Kennedy then why didn’t he shoot when the limo was driving up Houston toward the rifle? Instead the gunman waits to shoot, through foliage, when the limo is driving away from the rifle down Elm and using one of worst rifles ever made with a defective scope. Kennedy was assassinated by a well coordinated professional team of gunman. Elm Street was the perfect environment for multiple teams to kill Kennedy like a fish in a barrel. The fatal shot came from the front right position. Physics doesn’t lie… governments do.

We don't know the exact reason he waited, but there is a chance he wasn't ready or that if he had shot then, then they would have seen him and sped away, so he waited until the people in the motorcade couldn't see him. Also, Oswald having a cheap rifle is a reflection on Oswald himself. He was working a crappy job and left his wedding ring with his wife, meaning he was about to get a divorce. It's exactly the kind of rifle someone like that would have. Another thing is his first shot (that hit a traffic light) came just as the car made it's turn onto Elm, meaning the car was at the top of the street, far away from the grass knoll. So if it was a co-ordinated shooting, surely they would have waited until he got further down the road before taking the first shot.
The reason Kennedy's head appears to move back is because his chin was resting on his rib cage and so when the force came from behind, his head essentially rebounded backwards, giving the illusion that a shot came from the front.

He was Shot by Kellerman in the very front passenger seat first. Then again from a longer range to finish him off (when head explodes) JFK was still alive after the Kellerman bullett. Then the death Bullett was from a Slightly further out. But not from the book depository from behind
Rubbish! Another amateur photographer had filmed the entire shootings from a part of the road they hadn’t gotten to yet. This video of his CLEARLY shows Kennedy being shot in the front of his neck, both of K. hands go up to his throat area and Jackie starts leaning into her husband, looking with concern at what K. was doing with his hands to find out what was the matter with him. The second bullet then came about 5-10 seconds later ALSO from the FRONT and Kennedy is then shot directly in the skull and his body is forced backwards with extreme damage causing Jackie in total fear, to clamber behind her onto the back part of the car.
The then Government lied about everything and even discredited the Drs in Dallas Parkside (or Parkway, I can’t remember which one it was right now! but it’s easy to search.) who did the autopsy and got criticised. The whole thing was a set up. Awful as Kennedy seemed to have been a really good guy too. I’m not American, just watched a very interesting documentary on English tv.
All of the bullets and fragments were matched to Oswald's rifle.
