29:56 I find this extremely interesting and awe-inspiring that wolves can sense defects/ailments like this . .. this elk probably suffered for a long time from the teeth on that side. As someone who has felt the pain and aftermath of an abscess I can only imagine that going into the whole tooth and jawbone. The wolves in an ironic way have this elk one last mercy. Amazing animals

@Satanic Panic Fun and Games lol I guess you were unable to see the meaning behind the message. Thanks for being rude when no one else was. I am both black and white. So when I see what transpired with the wolves, I tend to try and see how humans can learn from this. And as a part of the human species, I know that certain actions, thoughts, and feelings help raise our vibrational levels. Putting us in a space of movement, instead of where we tend to be, stagnant. Like wolves, our main directives include self preservation. Young white wolf would not have made it. And it was smart, as she knows her home territory better than most. So her matching up with part of the other pack made sense. And It was her parents, the Alphas that were targeted. It shows that they are not bound as we are to our past in the same ways. Our ways tend to segregate and do quite a bit of emotional trauma. Humans are not good at the big picture. Some are, most are not. Our preservation goes mainly to self and less to fight for others including ourselves. This is as far as I want to go right now. Have a great day everyone 😀 and you too satan😁

It would be a horribly painful way for the elk to die at the jaws of the wolves. As he said, wolves don't have the jaw strength to kill their prey with one single bite to the throat, until mountain lions or other members of the cat family like tigers, lions and leopards. So these elk get repeated bitten and chewed on until they die of shock or severe internal bleeding. All in all, they sure do suffer.

Its a form of selective mating on the part of the female elk. While it may impede them in other aspects of life, the bigger the antlers the more likely an elk is to mate and pass on their genes, thus increasing antler size more and more over each generation. The ability of the male to grow such large antlers given all the resources it requires says to the female this is a strong male with good genetics to pass on to their offspring.

It was so sad to see that wolf with mange! Humans brought mites to Yellowstone just to kill and cause suffering, and we should try to reverse some of the damage we've done.

Yes humans did cause the mange. They introduced it into the wolf population to destroy the wolf. They almost succeeded . No doubt it was the plan to rid the wolf to protect there heinous business of slaughtering cows for profit. Flesh peddling farmers and ranchers are the epitome of evil.

you're is a contraction word, as seen by the apostrophe separating the "u" from the "r". contraction words are two words mixed together, some examples include don't (do not) and won't (will not). you're is a mix of the words "you are", while your is a possessive word (example: you're hungry = you are hungry. your balloons = you have/own balloons).with your logic, i would be saying "you are dad" instead of your dad, and no woman in her right mind would want to procreate with you

Reintroducing the wolves back into Yellowstone the program would need a continuous observation from those conducting the program , especially those vulnerable wolf's .Years ago mange was introduced into the Yellowstone packs in order to kill off wolf's and manage pack numbers , during the years when the park was free of wolf's mange remained . I hope these wolf's get some protection or treatment if they catch the mange mite , because what would be the point of this reintroduction .
