    I made my son a pair of pants out of these squares. They were so easy to make. Thank you so much!

    6:57 The pattern calls for “2 dc in the next 2 stitches” which is a misprint as she actually does 2 half dc in the next 2 stitches.

      I hope this makes sense! Also when I write “gap”, I mean chain space :)

      This is so helpful! Just Row 2 line 2 it doesn’t give the type of stitch after saying 1, for this I’m pretty sure it’s dc

    On row 2 it says 3 dc in the next 3 stitches then 2 DC in the next 2 but you're actually doing hdc. I just want to make sure that's correct.

      when watching crochet tutorials I found that some people don't match up the actual name of a certain stich when doing it, maybe they learned it to be a different name or its a mistake, but either way because of this it's best to focus more on what's being done than what's being said

      It's meant to be HDC. You can tell because the opposite side is written correctly and it's a symmetrical pattern, so....just write it down correctly for yourself if you're copying it down.

    On row 2 I noticed you did 2 hdc into the next 2 stitches instead of 2 dc into the next 2 stitches if that makes sense. Might have been a typeo in your end

    I like the skull. But, the granny square part messes it up for me.
    I'll use the skull on something else.

    I’m a beginner. Why is my black part always a circle and not a square? The very first part comes out round and then everything else follows!! Grrr… I’ve tried about 10 times and am VERY frustrated. It NEVER comes out square. Also, I can not read patterns. I have no idea what the abbreviations mean so I have to watch videos.

    • @moniquemoone
      @moniquemoone Рік тому

      Double check your stitches always. Double check what you’re Stichling as well to make sure your doing the right thing in the wright place. Just fallow her hands rather then relying on the written pattern itself.

  • @emerald.gr3mlinn
    @emerald.gr3mlinn Рік тому +1

    Row 3 makes no sense to me, I tried what was in the video and that one comment that had the pattern written down and both didn’t go all the way around evenly for me :(
