great tutorial. also holy crap you're fast!! I was feeling like I was getting the hang of this, but now I see the speed an expert can work at, it's impressive!
out of all the tutorials I've seen for this skull pattern, this is BY FAR the easiest one to follow!! I decided I wanted to use some skull granny squares for my Halloween costume this year and knew this tutorial would be perfect! Thank you so much for making it easier to understand and follow along!
This was my first project and I can't believe I actually finished it even if looks a bit wonky and all (tensions issues) but I'm so grateful that I started my crochet journey with your video, you explained everything clearly!
Omg... this is the easiest crochet skull tutorial I've ever seen. It's VERY COOL, thank you!😎👍 I can't wait to make this to give to my friend as a contribution to her friendship granny square blanket. Again, many thanks. 😊
I'm following your pattern to make my kid sister a pencil bag that will irritate all the teachers at her Christian high-school. 😁 They've complained so many times about her morbid humor and her "Goth obsession," so I'm helping.
I've tried 3 or 4 such patterns on UA-cam but, of them, yours is, by far, the clearest tutorial, and leads to the best results. Thank you ever so much! Just wish you and the net had been around in the 70's, when I was struggling to learn to crochet : )
This is the BEST skull instructions that I have ever seen. SO EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND FOLLOW. I have made several others before finding you. My search is over. I HAVE FOUND MY KEEPER
YAY! 😁 I just finished my 1st square. It is so cool because I used Lion Brand DIY Glow Yarn in White (it glows green in the dark) for the skull, black for the square, and a single crochet border using the DIY Glow. It's really pretty awesome, thank you!!!❤️❤️❤️ PS - thank you also for the written instructions. I usually write them down in a journal so you saved me a bunch of time. Have a wonderful day! 🌞
I've been crocheting for a few years now and sometimes struggle trying to understand videos (austistic) but your video was so easy to understand! I made my first square and plan on making many more for a Halloween themed blanket 😁 Thank you so much for this tutorial! 💙🖤 (I used orange for the skull and a teal blue for the square)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I didn't like any of the other skull crochet tutorials that I found and I absolutely love yours! Just went and bought some yarn I can't wait to try this pattern.

Fantastic tutorial. I'm fairly new to crochet (one month in) but was able to make one of these! Thank you! (We are in our local American Legion Riders group, motorcycles, and this square is going on my vest!)

Skull 0:42 : 1: Put nine DC into a rain Ch 5, 1 dc in ring, ch 3, 1 dc in ring, ch 5, sl st into top of chain that counted as first dc and sinch ring tight. 2. Ch 1, 1 sc into same stitch and each stitch all the way around the dcs, 6 sc into first ch space, slip stitch into second chain space, chain to then make three dcs, Chain 2 and slip stitch back into same space, counting as a total of five DC for the mouth. Make 6 dc into the last chain space 6:54 - starts square
Something I did is after watching it and getting the hang of it was writing it down and then referring back to it when I forget a step. That way you dont have to scroll through the video each time. Also, I love this pattern
Well, it seems I'm in the right place - a gazillion projects on the go and being tempted by another. Consider my dues paid in full!! LOL How kind of Chibilover to put the instructions to paper. How many times I've been tempted to do this elsewhere but wasn't sure if the 'owner' would be offended. Also love the addition of timestamps - what a huge difference that makes to any project. I have so many skull samples piling up but this one seems to have taken simplicity to the next level without losing quality. Off we go.........
Crying cause this is my first day crocheting and I know this is so far above me BUT I WANNA MAKE IT NOW!! Edit: I’m watching the video and I love how it’s catered to beginners! after practicing a bit I think I’ll try this in the near future 🥰

Glad it was helpful! The magic ring took me like 50 billion tries before I finally understood what was going on LOL
I am so attempting this. Love to make them into a top or even better shorts!
Thank you for this tutorial it was simple to follow and I love the way mine turned out :)!!
amazing! great explanation ! my husband got crazy when I did this for him ahah
Thanks a lot
Your explanations are so detailed that my first moon granny square came out close to perfect😊❤
Skull 0:42 :
1: Put nine DC into a rain
Ch 5, 1 dc in ring, ch 3, 1 dc in ring, ch 5, sl st into top of chain that counted as first dc and sinch ring tight.
2. Ch 1, 1 sc into same stitch and each stitch all the way around the dcs, 6 sc into first ch space, slip stitch into second chain space, chain to then make three dcs, Chain 2 and slip stitch back into same space, counting as a total of five DC for the mouth. Make 6 dc into the last chain space
6:54 - starts square
I just found this and made just the skulls and made a banner with them! So much fun! And sooo easy!
Yea! I’ve found the Best! Tutorial for a granny square with center skull! ❤❤❤ 💀💀thank you so much!!
Something I did is after watching it and getting the hang of it was writing it down and then referring back to it when I forget a step. That way you dont have to scroll through the video each time. Also, I love this pattern
just found this and I have subscribed-- I'm loving this -- and the dog!
Well, it seems I'm in the right place - a gazillion projects on the go and being tempted by another. Consider my dues paid in full!! LOL
How kind of Chibilover to put the instructions to paper.
I’m always thankful for community members to post helpful tools for others to enjoy crocheting 😌✨
I’m glad you found another project to begin!
Thank you! Iam still just learning how .
Wow this was super easy to follow as a beginner 😭😭😭 thank you! It came out super cute
Thanks for this tutorial. I'm gonna make a granny square bag with this cute scull grannys. Love it
You’re welcome 😊 The bag is going to be ADORABLE!
Crying cause this is my first day crocheting and I know this is so far above me BUT I WANNA MAKE IT NOW!!
Edit: I’m watching the video and I love how it’s catered to beginners! after practicing a bit I think I’ll try this in the near future 🥰
Never cut your self short! With the right video and enough tension practice even "advanced" projects can be completed by "beginners". HAPPY STITCHING!
You are an amazing teacher ❤
I am in 💕, thank you for teaching us this pattern. So we'll explained!!
