every 28 years (and up) old guy watching this, is rooting for you. we know the feeling. we had it multiple times and boy oh boy i can guarantee you everything will become better from now on. it will take a long or even longer time but it will become legendary! staying friends is a dumb idea. every guy saying its good, is 100% very young and naive. but if its what feels right to you. do the mistake.

I lost my girlfriend too. Here's my story.
Been traveling around asia for 3 years. We met online and kept chatting. We finally met in Bangkok for our first time after 4 months of chatting. Everything was perfect, i asked her to be my gf and we went to Japan together to meet her family, friends and travel a bit. Unfortunately she had to go back to Australia to finish her English school. Since Australia is so expensive and i didn't find a cheap place to stay, i went to the Philippines and planned to meet in Australia after 3 months to travel a bit and settle in Japan after. We also had constant fights, mostly about work and future. I couldn't be the strong and emotional cool guy. I'm western, we talk about things and show emotions. Japanese learn from childhood to not do that. I think that's the point which makes jt difficult to be in a relationship with Japanese. After that i met other Japanese girls, but it's always the same. They seem like emotionally cold robots.
It really hurts, coz she was my dream woman and actually everything was perfect. After we broke up i went home to my family to heal and thinking about next steps in life. That really helped me. The show must go on.
Now I'm back in Bangkok. Learning Thai. And just got a Thai gf. But i still miss the life in Japan... Let's see where the wind takes me.
I wish you all the best bro 🙏

Hey man, i watch most of your vids, don't comment much, since we're both german i gonna write this one in german since i'm still struggling with english a fair bit.

Trust me, this is a topic I know all too well... Just hang in there, bro. That's all you gotta do to "get out on the other side" of this. Time heals everything, its a cliche but its true and there is nothing better for you to be doing right now than travelling and experiencing the world. • @Supportbirb
      @Supportbirb 23 дні тому

Well, there actually ARE people who can stay friends after a breakup. Not all break ups happen because someone cheated or did something bad to the other. And if they cared enough about each other they can remain friends. I am friends with one of my first boyfriends still - heck, I am even friends with his wife XD most of the people who broke up with me/I have broken up with are still in my life and we remained friends. Of course it takes time to heal, because break ups hurt. But there are people out there who are honest and can talk about their emotions and stuff like that.
I care depely about the people who I was with and it’s mutual. Just because a relationship ends, doesn’t mean you have to hate each other or that you just want to use them. Of course it’s different for everybody, but I think more people should learn how to reflect on themselves and their actions and then talk about it.

@@ratatouilletea Sure you don't know anyone entirely. No one does...not even in real life can you know someone entirely. You use your ability to make a judgement and assess people best we can.
But of course you never have the full picture, you never will.
I also like my first point, and my second point also😄.
That's why I watch the channel, because I like his style. I like what he's doing, I like his vibe.
Reminds me of what I was doing a few years ago. Traveling, working, living life in the moment. Not a lot of money but full of new experiences, out of my comfort zone in a new place.
If I didn't think he was a good guy, I probably wouldn't watch the channel.
You can read into my comment however you like. The overall point was to give him encouragement and reassurance, like a hand on the shoulder. I see someone hurting, and just as a human being, I want to support. That is an aspect of love!
Not sure how much more I can explain my comment. It seemed pretty straight forward to me.
Sure you can't know anyone completely but you take your best intuition about them, and then you interact.
I tend to feel that every human being core drives are the same.
All people want to love and be loved.
All people are essentially good inside, despite all people having a limited frame of reference and making mistakes here and there.
Like a breakup for example-I know what can really hurt in the moment, latter in can be seen as a gift. A bad break up can really hurt when it happens, then we look back and remember the loving parts, and take the good memories and leave what we don't need.
So yes, my specific view is that all people are essentially good. It's a very Christian viewpoint. As in all people are children of God, innocent etc.
Trying to spread some love, and sure I don't know people but I'm going to spread the love anyway, it's my belief in what life is.
And that what I was trying to tell him.
"It's all good, keep your head up, and your heart open".
Keep your heart open bros and brolinas.

    • @Bob-l7m2g

@@ratatouilletea Of coarse we don't know for certain he's a good guy. But there are many qualities he has that I see as good. He works hard, has nice things to say, respects the culture etc.
I can only guess but I try and take your perspective. And I wonder why my comment might bother you.
I think with my best guess that you make feel the girl is "underrepresented". You have a female picture so I guess you are a female. So I am thinking that you feel for the girl. Maybe you think , he might have been bad to her.
By best guess is you felt for the girl and my comment irritated you because you don't want me assuming "guys are automatically good". Which I understand!
However I was giving bro, the benefit of the doubt. I was thinking they were both good ....
I'm for giving them the benefit of the doubt.
We can even forgo doubt all together. Hope that they both get lambos, each gifted a million dollar house in central Tokyo, from a long lost uncle in the Yakuza who is now on his death bed. But each have a different long lost uncle in the Yakuza, not the same uncle. Because that would make them related, which would be a bad day to find out.
And even though he is German, he somehow also has a Yakuza uncle, maybe the only German Yakuza guy.
It's very coincidental, synchronistic, and manifesty.
Then both of them in there lambos, and there million dollar Tokyo houses, one day are bored. Maybe mid week, on weds. They both have so much money, they both decide to go get boba. Taro boba be to be specific.
They drive there lambos to get boba, and they bump into each other.
It's evening time and all the lights of Tokyo are sparkling around them.
"Wow you got a house and a Lambo too!!!" They both say.
What a coincidence. They both get there bobas, and talk about there memories and laugh.
Feeling all the love and just happy the other one is happy.
There in such a good mood, that they take there boba to the arcade next door. And they both play dance dance revolution. With all the lights twinkling around them of the arcade.
It's like a Japanese fever dream.
They then go home together and have an incredible night. Better than any other night😉.
In the morning full of energy, they drive there lambos past a field cherry blossoms. Lost in it all.
This could happen, maybe...I mean it could potentially happen. If if 1 percent chance. Even if we change the Toyotas out for the lambos, and the house in Tokyo for a humble rooms. We can still keep the boba and cherry blossoms.
I have to believe love is real, and watch more anime ok? OK???? 😁

I know of UA-camrs that never show their face. and I know of vloggers that never show their girlfriend/boyfriend or husband or wife. Not everyone wants to be on camera all day. You don't see Pewdipies wife anymore, she has not been in a video for awhile. She actually edits his vlog videos and keeps herself out of them.

Unless u know the culture of relationships in Japan ur bound to fail miserably. Many rules and expectations to follow, just like the confusing culture. The worst one is having to “read the atmosphere” lol. I would never even attempt it knowing what I know😂

Fighting is normal in a relationship. The Japanese culture is different. Its hard for them to show emotion. There is shame involved. I hope you can both talk! My best friend is Japanese and her culture stopped us from communicating at times. Power on❤

Comments like these are probably the essence of the issue at hand here (judging from the videos I have seen). It always assumes the other person's culture and way of thinking is the "right" one and the Japanese one is the outlier. If there there is no moving towards each other and finding real compromises, it will never work out. You can also say it is respecting the other's upbringing and cultural background and accept there are even additional hurdles involved when engaging in a multi-cultural relationship.

This comment reveals your personality. You subconsciously believe that you’re always right and others are wrong, and that there’s something wrong with other cultures. The real obstacle might be your biased thinking and the fact that blaming others might be the real cause of the obstacle

Good Luck.

    • @Flavour25m

Using "japanese girl" as a clickbait title won't take you far in a relationship here in Japan.
You expose her to social media and fetishization all the time, just about time she starts questioning herself if you are just using her for content/advantages.
