Relationships, especially one's where you're living in another country can be really hard. If i had any advice it's that if you really want this girl in your life do whatever you have to and make it happen. If you have to part ways then there's nothing wrong with that either. You're both young and you've spent a year being happy with this girl, I assume the same is true for her being happy with you for a year. Treasure those moments you had with each other and life goes on. You'll learn things from this relationship to do/not do in your future relationships. All the best bro.

advice --- be friends dont date or get married to any one. life is hard enough on your own to survive financially and emotionally . dating and marriage just make it worse and with the rate at which dating relationships end and divorce happens. its not worth it to put your self through the pain of either one. your young take your time live on your own go to college, work, get a career, save money, buy a home and enjoy life before you worry about dating and marriage. you have plenty of time for that later in life.
