I know you're planning to leave Japan because there's not much holding you there any more, but if you want to get a lot of views, I've heard (from very big youtubers) Japan is a "gold mine" for content. So it might be worth hanging around to try to build your channel and viewers. Also, a lot of us probably found you because we like Japan stuff (that's why youtube recommended your channel to me anyway), so some of the subscribers might drop off if you leave. So first off, don't listen to these negative comments. It's clear that many of them are still too young-minded and inexperienced to understand the context beyond just surface level of why you decided to gift your ex girlfriend. It's a difficult topic to talk about. There is no correct way to act in breakups, in general, every breakup is different. I believe you did correctly by gifting her the shoes, since you are planing to move out of Japan and as long as you don't let your feelings dominate the situation. Once the relationship is broken no real way to fix it, and being conscious that there is no going back in every action will help you with decision-making in the future. At the same time, working again, and doing things will help you keep your mind entertained, as time heals everything. I know you're planning to leave Japan because there's not much holding you there any more, but if you want to get a lot of views, I've heard (from very big youtubers) Japan is a "gold mine" for content. So it might be worth hanging around to try to build your channel and viewers. Also, a lot of us probably found you because we like Japan stuff (that's why youtube recommended your channel to me anyway), so some of the subscribers might drop off if you leave. So first off, don't listen to these negative comments. It's clear that many of them are still too young-minded and inexperienced to understand the context beyond just surface level of why you decided to gift your ex girlfriend. She was your girlfriend throughout your time in Japan and because of her willingness to help, she made your stay in Japan much easier. You understand that despite the relationship failing, you still respect her and wanted to show her your appreciation by gifting her, especially considering that you're leaving the country and might not have a chance to see her again.
