I was in the audience. Met Woody outside. What a warm and friendly bloke.
Top geezer Woody; great chat.
I love Mick Woodmansey's drumming. She shook me cold. Never knew he painted too. I really like hearimg how spontaneously the Spiders' material was recorded with Bowie.
Nicholas Pegg is the greatest Bowie biographer of them all. Given his expansive tome, it's surprising the litany of authors who are still vainly trying to top it.
👏👏👏👏👏
Woody my name's David I'm probably about as old as you maybe a little younger I was born in 54 I was a good friend of Alvin Lee and Andy jaworski and Keith and Elinor Emerson. Very sad at Greg and Keith passing. I saw your interviews on the Emerson lake and Palmer video and I thought you were very cool God bless and they're all getting old I'm at Keith's in 1971 or two ls auditorium in Memphis Tennessee anyway I like what you had to say God bless have a good day
Thought the Spiders were a better band than they got credit for also find they were short changed for all the work they did
You can blame DeFreitas for that. Bowie himself made nothing. He discovered that he was paying for all the limo's and 5 star hotels and everything else.
