Original Jeff Buckley "Je N'en Connais Pas La Fin" Music Video from 1994

- A recently unearthed and seldom seen music video from '94 or thereabouts, featuring a small cast of characters and a few moments of Mr. Buckley himself, all shot around the East Village. Probably made around the initial release of the "Live at Sin-é" EP. Created and directed by Tomas Baltazari. If anyone out there has seen this before, I'd love to know more!
Such a beautiful and original video. My favourite of Jeff's.
Isn’t it amazing that there’s still new material from him?! Music video wise?
there’s so much more too, but sony have hidden it away in their vault so we will most likely never see it….
How was this gem hidden from the world for so long 🥺
On the 25th anniversary of Jeff’s passing this year..I thank you for this amazing gift. 💙
Amazing. Such an unexpected video that I was completely unaware of. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

The cinematography looks stunning from a lost music video that came out 28 years ago.

I can't believe what I am acrually seeing. Thank you thank you so much for sharing this!!
miss this guy so much
All blessings to you for sharing this 🤍
How does this go lost for so long? It doesn’t make sense. It takes more than one person to make this video. Why didn’t anyone ever say: what ever happened to that song I helped record? Or that video that I starred in? Or edited? Or filmed?”
The way Jeff captured the spirit of French "chanson de rue" or ritournelle is incredibly heartwarming.
Monsieur Buckley nous manque.
ln L♡ve..The intro with a close up of Jeff's penetrating look and later he can be found dancing around..what a pleasure for every fan here to discover this hidden gem! the video narrates the beautiful song perfectly..thank-you!
💞🎶🎸
I think this is my favorite of his videos. It’s really beautifully shot and I love this song.
Oh my goddess. Just discovered and immediately felt in love with this. Thank you soooo much for this precious gift.
His voice was just ridiculously good from the off… he was v confident in his vocal gift apparent from his interview with Nusrat Feti Ali Khan where he sounded very assured of it in front of the master - explains his fearlessness
absolutely stunning

There's no way this was shot in the east village
omg where the FUCK did this come.from????
Jory, is there some way that I can get in touch with you or the director, privately?
I've tried to google the director without any luck. My wife ran a music video production company in NYC back in the 90s, and signed him based on this video he shot with Jeff, possibly on spec or just for 'fun'...I'd love to know myself. I found this on an old tape in storage!
@@joryhull9607 You listed a director in the video description, however: Tomas Belthazari. Who is that?
What is your wife’s name, and the production company that she ran, if you don’t mind my asking?
I’m confused about said signing. Jeff was signed by Columbia Records in 1992, unless you are referring to something else.
Would it be possible to continue this conversation via some other medium: email/social media?
@@MojoPin1983 She represented Tomas the director, through her production company. We don't know how to get in touch with him anymore, unfortunately. My contact info is under the about link...
@@joryhull9607 Oh, I see. You meant that you tried to find Tomas via a Google search. Yeah, I was unable to find him, either.
@@joryhull9607 i found a bit of info on tomas baltazari searching his name with quotation marks (“tomas baltazari”). i hope you do indeed manage to get in touch with him. i’d love for him to know that so many of us around the world adore what he created with jeff...so poetic and such a gift! and thank YOU for sharing it with us ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
