Black hole sun is on of the most peculiar song ever composed and this is an amazing arrangement. And Jazz is perfect for it. So much LOVE.

This is a guitar technique called "brushing".
I was Chris's lighting guy on tour for many years. I did the solo acoustic theater shows. I had a connection. I saw him play this live probably a hundred times. But currently I am not able to listen to him at all. I may never again. Its too intense. I know why he's gone and can't elaborate. I can't be in that head space. I want to thank you for this incredibly beautiful piece. It's very listenable to me personally because you take great artistic license with it. I can't listen to Chris and hardly anyone can cover him with any justice. I subscribed when I saw the Pink Panther which is just jaw droppingly good. I play guitar but more like R.L. Burnside and in no way on your level. I absolutely love to hear you play. And being in the music industry, I am spoiled and picky. I am so glad I came upon your work. Thanks for sharing this.
Your jazz arrangements are great. You should really consider creating an album of them. Alone or in a duo of some kind. Two thumbs up!

You could say the song has evolved with its listeners. Not blowing your teenage angst away when listening to the original on your stereo in the basement but nodding to a jazz cover while slurping a Latte in your favorite trendy cafè. 😉
I want to play all the "But it's Jazz" songs as background music at an event with a lot of rockers and watch them try to figure out why these jazz riffs sound so familiar.
