One item I recently bought is a ratcheting coupler used to make a breaker bar into a ratchet. I use it on a drill to turn the flywheel on my trolling motor for checking spark and trying to start when I have spark/carb/fuel issues. Reduces the blisters on my pull-start hand and keeps the chuck from spinning off when the motor fires. (finally!)
nice list. We have an old Johnson Seahorse that died on us. Don't have the money for a new boat, so we are doing our best to try to repair it. We have some of these things and will make a list for the others.
Great video! Just subbed- you have a really great channel! I live on the east coast and love working on outboards This is the perfect video for someone starting out.Thank You!
Do you have any resources on what motors are desirable and roughly what they should go for running and non running conditions? Working on these small motors looks like a lot of fun. There are lots of motors for sale around me, but I’d like to make sure I’m buying motors and not anchors.
How much profit do you average per flip? How many of these badboys you flipping a year too? Thinking about starting this as a side hustle. Any info is appreciated thanks bro.
Do you consider heat shrink as part of the electrical assortment? I do like the "marine heat shrink" it has a water proofing sealant that melts out the ends when you heat it.
The only thing you missed was the opportunity to say “busting nuts“ both when talking about PB blaster as well as the fire torch when PB blaster isn’t good enough! lol
Love hobo freight. I buy a the tool I need to do the project I am working on and it has always been way less then the quoted price from a professional. 2 things I learned a new thing about my engines and they always seem to still be good for the next job I may need it for.
@@familyengineering5591 for sure flips will always be 90% of the channel! But there’s a foot of snow on the ground right now so I figured while that’s melting I’d make a couple videos answering some questions I’ve got 👍🏼

Throw back to the days before ethanol fuel. Now all those hoses need to be changed. An aged boat thats been sitting can suffer from such a thing
Thanks for another great video :)
@JesseHustles I appreciate you watching!
I use heat drink for all my electrical connections. Other than that awesome video.
