- In our original series to commemorate to the Kargil Vijay Diwas of 2023, we bring you untold stories from the war. One such story is of the young & restless; those who fought for the motherland in their early twenties. Given an out of turn promotion, these young officers were made Captains and entrusted with leading the soldier during the war. An officer who served with some of the bravest young men who were martyred, narrates the days of the youth and their impatience to be part of the war.
