After India captured Tiger Hill during the Kargil conflict in 1999, Pakistan launched a fierce counterattack led by Captain Karnal Sher Khan. His bravery made Pakistan take back some territory, however, they were eventually defeated by the Indian forces.
In the cross-firing, Captain Khan was eventually shot and killed. However, Brigadier Bajwa, who was in-charge of the Indian operations at Tiger Hill, decided to treat the enemy Captain with respect and honour his sacrifice.
After getting Sher Khan’s body pulled down from the mountain top, Brigadier Bajwa wrote a small letter as a tribute to the Captain and placed it in his pocket. After the body was received in Pakistan, the note from the Indian Brigadier was central to Captain Khan's posthumously getting the Nishan-e-Haider, many years later.

Because they know what happened in Kargil. As usual lumber 1 fauj generals of Pakistan stopped the supply of arms and let front soldiers die. They never planned to actually have a combat war with India. They dragged India into wars to fix internal turmoil and secure 80% of share in the Pakistani budget. This is what happened in 1971 war. 1971 was a civil disrupt with Bengalis for 5 years. Lumber 1 ISI decided to get rid of Bengalis for 2 reasons 1) The USA and ISI chief agreed to start a joint venture to break the communist USSR. 2) Mujeeb was siding with communist India and USSR. The USA didn't want communist Mujeeb and his followers in Pakistan. ISI decided to let go of bengladesh. General Niazi was quickly picked to tackle rebellions in Dhaka. Now to secure 80% share in Pakistani budget and to save them from the public back lash, PAF started a strike on IAF. General Niazi was ordered to stay back and fight India instead of going to bengladesh. After a few days of fight, ISI blocked arms and support and asked Niazi to surrender. Did India capture and enter Dhaka? NO, Did India capture or enter Pakistan? NO ! Then what was the surrender about? This is how ISI got rid of bhooka and communist bengalis.

I find that our Indian army sometimes start romanticising wars. Lets not forget the pak army troops were there to do land grabbing. The man wasn't defending his territory or this wasn't a war that was declared on both sides. The Pak troops simply violated India's borders and hence i dont see any difference between these pak troops and drug smugglers. He didnt figh and die to save an inch of his motherland. With all due respect to the Brigradier i think this was professional overkill to give that man a citation. Dont forget they beheaded some Indian Soldiers right in the beginning of the war. Indian Army needs to understand one thing. In Islam everything is fair in a holy war.

Story goes back to 1944 when my maternal grandfather fought the Japanese in Indonesia, in 1945 he fought Germans in Netherlands for British Indian Army. He was from Rajputana Rifles that’s based in Agra today, at that time his unit was posted at Rawalpindi Cantt where my eldest mama was born.
Later before retiring he fought against Pakistani Kabailis in 1948 Kashmir war. A funny incident he told was when they were having fun and light the holi bonfire the Kabailiyes came out of hiding behind the hill to surrender seeing smoke mistaking it for an attack.
Fast forward 1999, my father in law sacrificed his life in Kargil. I never met him as I married in 2010. I feel my wife’s pain and get very sad thinking about how her family coped with it.
My cousin(RajKumar Punia) and a close friends father(Mangej Singh) also sacrificed their life at Kargil. Sub Mangej Singh was in Saurabh Kalia’s backup party.
Another uncle won Mahavir Chakra. He is the famous and deadly Naik Digendra Singh.
My father too was in the army but didn’t see action as his unit was posted on border in Rajasthan.
I know many other close relatives who fought the war. One had a bullet pierce his ear while landing from parachute. A full night jagaran was done by his family for his safety.
I joined Indian military academy in 2005, seen action but took voluntary retirement in 2011.
Came to US in early 2012, settled here.
My children are US citizens not sure if they would carry the same love and pain for their parents motherland India.
I have Pakistani friends here, I say to them. "MERE DUSHMAN, MERE BHAI".
Salute and respect to all soldiers.

So they shook hands with LTTE as having same target
LTTE did not want Indian forces in their area

As Indian establishment did bomb blasts of 1993 so that Pakistans can blamed and be counter balance for Indian terrorism in Lahore in 1992 Indian terrorist Sarabjit Singh made 12 bomb blasts in Lahore.
In 1980s when Canadas government was not supporting Indian agencies for their espionage activies in Canada so they themselves bombs Indian airlines plane so that Indian government can pressurise Canadians government internationally to support Indian agencies
Same happenned in 1990s when a Pakistani Molana and Journalist Molana Masood Azhar who was on visit visa in Indian Occupied Kashmir was arrested by Indian state and at that time Indian state wanted to make Kashmir a global terrorist issue so they with the help of X militant kidnapped foreign tourists and killed them and claimed that kidnappers were demanding the release of Molana Masood Azhar so that Tourists were killed and that organisations name was Al Faran which was never heard off anywhere earlier and even the closest peoples of Molana said we don't know any organisation called "Al Faran" .
Remember India had in 1990s publicly made an organisation called "Al Ikhwan" which had x militants in it.
Same happenned about December 2001 Indian parliament attack, when Pakistan was under huge pressure from US to support US military against Taliban Indian parliament was attacked. India claimed Pakistan did it
the Main supporter who provided them with car and house was Afzal Guru who continuously said that he was working for DSP Darvinder Singh but no one listened to him and That DSP Darvinder Singh was arrested while trying to bring two terrorist to Dehli to do terrorist attack as Anti CAA protests were on high so Indian government wanted to divert public attention.
Remember that DSP was also in Pulwama when attack at CRPF happened in Pulwama.
So dear this is big story of Indian establishment and their dirty intelligence organisation.
